(Not going to lie, I had fun writing this chapter and chapter 17) 

Saturday night has finally arrived and I was beyond nervous my feet and hands couldn't stop shaking as Steven applied light makeup to my face and Connie did curls in my hair.

"You look amazing Y/n!" Connie told me as she nodded in agreement beside her.

I smiled at her and Steven.

"Oh, I can't thank you two enough for what you have done for" I said as I pulled them into a hug.

"You're going to be fine, Y/n" Pearl reassured me, in her calm voice, which sound a bit familiar in away. 

"Yeah as long as she doesn't trip in those death traps" Amethyst told her.

"Amethyst you're not helping!" 

I smiled at the two and got up.

"Thanks guys"

"Y/n" Garnet called me.

I looked around to see her.

"Yes Garnet"

"Tonight Is going to be a good night" She told me with a smile.

Then there was knocking at the door.

My heart started to beat faster.

"I'll get it!" Steven said as he ran to the door.

"Hey Sour Cream" Steven greeted him.

"Hey Steven, is Y/n ready?" He asked.

I got up and made my make to the door. My stomach had lots of butterflies flying around.

"I sure am" I said.

He looked at me shocked, his face turned red.

I could hear Garnet squealing in the background.

"Y-you look beautiful" He stuttered.

This caused me to turn red too.

"Thank you" I smiled.

He moves his hands from behind his back to reveal a bouquet of  purple Lisianthus

"This is for you" He told me and hands over the flowers to me.

I took them and inhaled the scent.

"Oh thank you so much, Sour Cream! I'll put them in some water" I was about to go do that but suddenly Steven took the flowers out my hand.

"Don't worry about these, just go and enjoy your date! And don't worry we'll take care of Stella. And Sour Cream take good care of her" Steven said.

"Will do"

Sour Cream held my hand and intertwining our fingers.

We smiled at each other and said goodbye to everyone then made our way out.

"So, where are you taking me?" I asked.

"I'm taking you to the Carnival"

We made it to the Carnival and I was amazed by so many children running around with their parents or children play with each other showing off what they won in the stalls.
Couples walked hand in hand with each other. The smell of popcorn and cotton candy filled my nose.

"Wow" I said in amazement.

"Come, let's walk around and see what the stalls have" Sour Cream told me.

I nodded and we walked passing stalls until we a ring toss game.

I pulled Sour Cream's sleeve.

"Oh, can we play this one?" I asked.

He smiled.

"Sure"

The owner of the stall was a short old lady.

"Welcome to ring toss, throw the ring over and object and you win." She explained.

Sour Cream nodded and gave the lady the money and she gave him five rings.

The first two rings bounced off the two for one headphone that he wanted to get us, which I thought to be very thoughtful of him. 

He gave up and decided to aim for the phone case. The old lady smiled and handed him his prize

He turned towards me and gave me it.

"Here, I wanted to get us the headphones but that isn't going so well" He said rubbing the back of his head, looking at the ground.

I smiled and held his hand.

"Don't worry about it Sour Cream, I need a phone case and now I have one thanks to you"

I took out my phone and put on the phone case.

"See? Now every time I looked at my phone I'll remember our first date" I blushed.

"Oh and my I have a turn with the rings"

He handed it over to me. 

"Sure knock yourself out"

I held the ring to where the headphone was and to a deep breath in, concentrating then threw it and landed on the headphones.

I turned around to see Sour Cream's shocked face causing me to laugh the old lady went to put up the headphones I saw a cute teddy bear with a white ribbon. I toss the last ring over the bear.

The old lady came back with the headphones and the bear.

"My, my you have a fine lady over there" The lady told Sour Cream.

"Well, she sure is one of a kind" Sour Cream replied.

This caused me to blush and cover my face.

"So since you won this, which one do you want?" He asked me.

"I'll take the purple one and you can have the blue one" 

He nodded. I took his hand.

"Come! The night is still young! And we have stalls to go too" With that, we thanked the old lady and went off.

We continued to walk around until we found the most amazing stall, it was a combination of Harry Potter and Star Wars, I want to sure what Star Wars was but Sour Cream did and we send all most half an hour there and won almost all the prizes that were until the stall owner begged us to go. The stall owner even gave us bags for the prizes, we took it and went off.

While walking Sour Cream explains to me about Star Wars.

"Well, maybe we could watch all the Star Wars for our next date?" I recommended.

"Really?" He asked.

"Only if you watch all the Harry Potter movies with me" I offered.

"Deal"

I smiled then notice a neon glowing sign.

"Hey, what The Arcade?" I asked.

I saw Sour Cream smirk.

"This, my beautiful Y/n, is where the magic happens"

I looked at him confused he didn't see my face and took my head and lead me inside.

As we entered we were surprised with confute.

"Welcome! You two are the 100th person to enter" Said a tall male adult with a huge grin.

I held on to Sour Cream's arm, startled.

"Oh hey, Mr Smiley"  Sour Cream greeted. 

"So who is this cute girl you have here?" Mr Smiley asked.

"Hi I'm Y/n Diamond, a pleasure to meet to, Mr Smiley" I greeted.

"Aw! she so cute!" He squealed.

Sour Cream smiled at me.

"Oh yes! I got distracted since you two are the 100th person to enter, you guys get to do a dance-off  to win any all free food pass and to go on the Ferris Wheel for free!" He exclaimed.

"Really?" Sour Cream and I asked.

He nodded.

We looked at each other. Sour Cream looked unsure while I grinned

"Come on Sour Cream it would be fun" I told him.

He sighed.

"Sure I just"

I cheered and hugged him. He hugged me back.

"Ok love birds, let's get started" Mr Smiley said.

Mr Smiley led you to us to the roomy space in the arcade where there was a blank screen.

"So all you two have to do is  to follow the dance moves in the corner of the screen and only if you get a megastar you win!" Mr smiley explained to us.

He then powers up the screen and allowed up customized your avatar.

"Okay are you to ready?!" Mr Smiely asked.

We nodded.

"Begin!"

(So this is what they dance too and how they danced and yes Y/n danced in heels, she is  queen)

While dancing we had gathered a crowd too. After we finished everyone started to cheer for us.

"Amazing! if these two aren't a power couple I don't know what is a power couple" Mr Smiley said.

He shook our hands.

"That was amazing! 12,858 points! You two really did outdo yourselves, I even got you two matching necklaces"

"Wow thanks, Mr Smiley" Sour Cream thanked him.

"You really dint have to" I said.

"Aw nonsense, you two deserve it" He hands me the part of the necklace with the gun charm while Sour Cream got the other one.

"Now get out off here you love birds"  He playfully told us.

We gather our things and left.

"That was so much fun!"  told him as we found a bench to sit on.

"It was, I never knew I could dance,  you really do bring out the best of me" Sour Cream said.

I blushed and hid my face in his hoodie.

He chuckled and ran his finger in my hair.

"Want to get something to eat?" He asked.

I looked up at him, stars in my eyes.

"Can we try out the Popcorn?" I asked.

"Yes"

Sour Cream showed me all different types of foods like corndogs, hotdogs, cotton candy, popcorn and other sweets. My most favourite was the gummies. We even took some to go.

We walked hand-in-hand, I was drinking a smoothie while Sour Cream ate a corndog.

"So are we going on the Ferris Wheel before we leave?" I asked.

"Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that, what time is it?" Sour Cream asked.

I pulled out my phone.

"It's 10:35"

"Great, we still have time, fair ends at 11" With that we made our way to the Ferris Wheel.

We made it to the Ferris Wheel and the guy overseeing it, helped buck us up.

As the Ferris Wheel began to move, I tense up. Sour Cream probably saw me like this and gave my hand a gentle squeeze.

I smiled then gasped at the view of the city.

"Wow! Look at the view from here, isn't beautiful?"

"I don't know, my view here is even better" Sour Cream said.

I looked at Sour Cream to find him staring at me with a small smiled.

I blushed and looked at my hands in my lap.

"Sour Cream, thank you for tonight and making it unforgettable" I told him as I looked at him with a smile.

He smiles.

"Y/n I wanted to tell you, You are the coolest, most beautiful, strongest girl I've ever met and every time I see you smile I just want to protect that smile and make sure you keep that smile on and you're always happy" He rubbed the back of his head, his face was burning red.

"Is it weird how I love you? How I want to be able to call you mines? I know you're not fully human but I don't care I just want to be with you, is that weird?" 

I stared at him, tears in the corner of my eyes.

Then a smiled fell on my lips.

"I don't think that's weird Sour Cream, I feel the same way. Ever since I meet you I just wanted to be with you, I wanted to be by your side no matter what,  I- I love you to Sour Cream!" I confessed.

Suddenly he put his hand on my cheek and place his lips on mines.

At first, I was shocked but I relaxed, closing my eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck.

The kiss was a short yet passionate kiss.

We pulled apart, our foreheads touching each other as we stared lovingly at each other.

My heart felt like it beat against my chest.

"Hmm, looks like the world is celebrating for us" Sour Cream joked.

"Yes, yes it is" I whispered as I pulled him into another kiss.

Sour Cream walked me back home.

We made it to the door and was about o say goodbye.

I gave him a hug which he returned.

"Thank you for tonight" I thanked him.

"Well, thank you for accepting to be my girlfriend" 

I tip-top to place a peck on his lip but he held me in place by holding my waist and deepened the kiss.

I smiled in the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck.

The kiss lasted a few seconds then we pulled apart.

"Well, I'll text you tomorrow" He told me.

I nodded.

"Good night, Sour Cream"

"Good night, Lilac"
