"Something is haunting your shores, King Balor." Mother says.
My other brothers and sisters make nervous chatters. I look at her.
"We do not know who killed your hunters Ronal." King Balor says.
"You speak them like they're not our brothers and sisters." Mother says.
"They were our family!" Iku yells.
The others yell.
"Tsun down txum." I say.
(Calm down please.)
"Ronal, you can't possibly be blaming us." King Balor says.
"I do not blame you, but these are your shores. You must've offended a darkness of sorts." Mother says.
"Mother, there has to be some explanation. The elves are not our enemy." I walk forward.
"Wise words child, but still naive." She says.
"How is that naive Ronal?" Nuada asks.
Mother turns to him.
"Do not question my teachings to my children Prince Nuada. I know your heart." She says.
"Mother, please." I grab her arm.
She nods and turns.
"There is something in there! I saw eyes like flames and a cold-hearted shell!" Iku yells.
I bite my lip. These corpses they did not look right. I move over to one of my fallen brothers. I reach my hand out. Surprisingly I feel something grab it. I look down and I see him moving. My eyes widen. How is this possible? How is he still alive? Or is he acting purely on rage to give us the assumption they're not dead. Tsuey screams. Mother draws back. Iku stands up. He lets out a scream. I almost scream. Nuada kicks him off of me. He grabs me and pulls me back. I feel my hands were shaking. My heart was leaping out of my chest.
"Are you alright?" He asks.
Despite being snatched by a presumed corpse. I nod. He moves his hand down my arm.
"What the devilry is this?" King Balor asks.
