I sit down on the shore. I feel the waves lick the sand shores. I feel it splash my feet. I run my fingers over my hair. Is there a way out of this island? Is there a way for me to return to my homeland? I've tried. I saw those things speak and my hands are still shaking.
"My mistress calls you in for breakfast." A servant says.
"I'll be there in a minute." I say.
It nods.
"Wait." I say.
It turns.
"How long have you been here?" I ask.
It just shrugs.
"So, you don't know do you?" I ask.
It nods.
"Yeah. Figured." I sigh as I look at the ocean.
It's so calm, but outside of it is just this cage. It's stronger than metal. They spoke. It still sends shivers down my spine. My hands were still shaking. How do I get home? Is there any way to get home before I forget it all? I doubt it now. It's been days, weeks, maybe months. I have no idea of time now. Everything feels like it's slipping from me like grains of sand. I stand up.
"Okay, I'm coming." I sigh.
