"Hiccup?" I hear Calypso walks forward.

"All I hear are screams." I look down.

"Hicy, get away from the ledge." She calls.

"You don't know what I've heard through!  You don't know what I've been hearing!  Everyone I long knew, every friend, I hear them cry! And all I hear are screams!" I shout.

I feel the rain pouring on my head. I hear the crack of lightning. I can't handle the screams anymore! I thought I could drown them out. I thought I could ignore them. They're making me lose my mind. 

"It will be fine, dear. Come back inside, dear. Love of my life, come back to paradise." She calls.

I grip my head. I can't focus. I'm drowning in these voices. I thought I could wash it off. The voices keep begging me for something. I don't know what. I don't know what I'm missing, but it's painful. It's too painful to bear any longer.

"Let me close my eyes!" I scream.

"I know your life's been hard. I'll stay inside your heart!" She reaches for me.

Tears fill my eyes.

"All I hear are screams!" I fall to my knees.

"I love you, my dear. I love our time here. Life would be so much worse." She says.

"Just let me close my eyes!" I crawl to the ledge.

"If you had died, please stay from away from harm. Stay in my open arms." She presses her hand against my back.

I let out another scream. I can't take it. I can't take the pain. I push her off of me. 

"All I hear are-" I start.

"This life is amazing when you greet it with open arms. How much longer 'til your luck runs out? Waiting, waiting, waiting. Whatever we face, we'll be fine if we're leading from the heart. How much longer 'til the show goes south?" She asks.

"Oh!" I scream.

"No matter the place, we can light up the world. Here's how to start How much longer 'til we all fall down?" She asks.

"Oh!" I walk to the edge. 

Tears grip my face. I just want the pain to stop. The pain has to stop. I just want the pain to stop!

"Waiting, waiting, waiting. Greet the world with open arms, greet the world with open arms." She says.

"Astrid!" I scream.
