Gwen was in a spare room, actually sleeping in a good bed for once... the bed she was in, the room more exactly... it was Peter's. Luckily she was in a deep sleep, and didn't hear Scarlet Spider enter the room by the window. He landed on the floor completely silent and looked at Gwen. He slowly takes his mask off, looking at her Gwen sleep... it was definitely creepy, with red eyes and where he was. She was on her left side, as he slowly looks to the blankets, covering her up to her shoulder... letting her sleep. He could tell on her face and how her shoulders are so curled... for her this was bit of a bad day.

Jensen slowly walks away, he opens the door and closes it, with Gwen not waking up. Peni was in her robot doing the goober as she ate a bit of candy... bloody sweet tooth.

That was until she heard a knock on the glass of her robot, as she looks, seeing Jensen holding a syringe with red liquid in there, his own blood.

Peni: What the-

Jensen: Analyze my blood sample.

Peni: (annoyed) Good to see you too, Jensen.

Jensen: Analyze it, girl.

Peni: My name is Peni-

Jensen: I didn't ask. Do it.

Peni looks at him and abruptly takes it in a very anime way. She starts to analyze it, but still unknown on what she's looking.

Peni: What am I looking for?

Jensen: Any mutations, genetic mutations. Either via white blood cells, chromasomes, proteins, anything. I've been experiencing changes in my body.

Peni: Maybe it can be because of your spider bite.

Jensen: I was bitten 3 years ago, is impossible about new effects, check anything.

Peni kept looking... but her eyes widened, but Jensen kept talking.

Jensen: Could it be that the radiation of the spider bite has mutated my body more than the others-

Peni: Um... that's... not the problem.

Jensen looks confused. Peni takes a deep breath... how does he tell Jensen this new revelation she discovered.

Peni: Your genetic code... changed. Your half human, Jensen.

Jensen: Half? Then... what's the other half.

Peni: Your... Your other half is... half spider.

Jensen: A-A half... spider?

Jensen even grows more confused at what she said literally a few seconds ago.

Peni: Your genetic code shows a strong 50% spider DNA running through your veins.

Jensen: T-That was the spider, right? It must be the spider bite, it has to be, right?

Peni: No. You were born... like... that. The radiation from the spider bite, awakened your hidden spider genetic... but... if this is right... you were born with half spider DNA. And... the genetic? Your spider DNA seems to be... located in the Y chromosomes, only males have that.

Jensen: A-Are you saying my father... is a literal spider? No... No that's wrong.

Peni: Jensen, the radioactive spider awakened them, meaning your father must have used something like nanotechnology in his genetic code to both completely dampen the spider DNA. And that nanotechnology is also going through your veins.

Jensen thought of something... when he took DNA tests, something doesn't add up.

Jensen: When I went to take DNA analysis as a kid, there was a time that I took the paternity test, I was 96% to mom but... only 9% to dad. It was confusing and weird since if dad really negated his DNA, I should've been between 90% to 100% to confirm that he was my father. Mom never had a boyfriend for 3 years before meeting dad and she didn't do one night stands. I... I need some air... I...

He walks away quickly, they were in the Spider-Cave but Jensen just slingshots himself out of the cave. He walks out of the shed in... not the right state of mind. He slowly puts his fingers in his eyes, he's not going to throw another outburst, not another one. This was so much to take in... just what has happened in less than 24 hours?

PTSD attack, Li saying Miles will destroy everything, meeting a Hobo Peter Parker, realizing that he existed in this dimension, almost every spider people... Gwen as well started to not even pressure Miles but beat him. His emotional speech and now the fact he is half spider?

Jensen takes a deep breath, trying his best to relax. He looks at the window... seeing Gwen awake leaning by it, as she slightly looks down and goes back to the bed probably. Jensen slowly looked down as well, as he leaps and climbs the window, seeing her seated in the bed.

Jensen: Gwen?

Gwen: Did you... speak to Miles?

Jensen took a second, but nodded at her question, Gwen looked away.

Jensen: Is there... something else you want to say?

Gwen: That I'm sorry. About what happened down there.

Jensen: I know... I can tell, you didn't look okay when sleeping.

Gwen: You... stalked me?

Jensen: I entered through the window, but you were sleeping, I pulled the blanket and left the room. But you looked a bit unease.

Gwen: That... That was just a dream.

Jensen looks at her with a bit of concern, as she stayed actually... pretty neutral.

Jensen: Want to... talk about it?

Gwen: (looks away) No.

Jensen looks at Gwen, slowly sitting by her side, intertwining his own fingers, as he takes a deep breath... just for nothing come out of his mouth... but Gwen stays looking at the other direction.

Gwen: "All or None."

Jensen looks at Gwen, who puts a hand on her shoulder.

Gwen: That's what you said in Alchemax. But it doesn't seem your living to your own words.

Jensen: Gwen-

Gwen: (voice breaking) Just... how? How can you be okay with this choice? We can all make it, go home.

Jensen: We don't... always get the happy ending.

Gwen: (looks at him) But we can fight for it. We can fight to get a happy ending, for all of us. Nobody has to die.

Jensen: I know-

Gwens But your still doing it... your still... I... I can't let you.

Jensen: What?

Gwen: I can't let you kill yourself, Jay. I can't, I-I'm sorry if what your gonna do is some grand finale but I can't let you.

Jensen: Then you will have to fight me... you know that.

Gwen: I know.

Jensen: And you will lose.

Gwen's stare softens, but he could see the determination in her eyes.

Gwen: I know... but that won't stop me from trying again, and again, and again.

Jensen sighs slightly at Gwen who her determined face still, but softens as she puts a hand on his shoulder.

Gwen: I just don't want to lose another friend, Jay, especially I could save.

Jensen: I don't want to either, that's why I'n doing it. If I stay back, Miles dimension will be safe, my dimension, yours, Peter's... I can save the multiverse...

Gwen: But after that? How will your friends... your mother react? Knowing Jensen Banner was Scarlet Spider... (voice breaks again) and that he didn't returned home. You said it, a world without Spider-Man is a world that will not survive.

Jensen: I'm not Spider-Man... I'm just a crazy guy in a Halloween costume, killing people, I was never New York's hero... Martin Li was. Look, the decision is not up for debate, I'm going to stay behind to shut it down.

Gwen: It is for debate! Wether you like it or not! Your friends, Hobie, Ned, Flash... Liz... your own mother, they won't handle your death. If you never return... they will think you took your own life, that you were alone. They won't know what you did.

Jensen put a saddened face as she grabs the blanket and slowly cover herself.

Gwen: You die alone... there's nothing left of you. I saw an amount of bodies in my dream, of the people that I've failed.. but you weren't there... nothing but blood... and your broken mask.

Jensen: Gwen-

Gwen: (looks at him with teary eyes) We've both survived this long because of us, we first met and we were so different, we didn't make friends, we were alone in our worlds, but we managed to somewhat heal, to connect, make friends, you and I... I don't want this to end in death... I don't want to lose a friend... I don't... want to lose... you...

Jensen stays looking at Gwen, slowly pulling her to a hug, and Gwen as she hugs back covers him with the blanket. During the conversation, Peter was in behind the door, he slightly looks away... he was impressed by Gwen's determination to save Jensen... what he wonders what has Jensen done to decide and stay behind? To die without fear.

Minutes later, Gwen was asleep while leaning to Scarlet's chest, as he still kept her in a hug... or well... Gwen had him in a hug which she never broke... so might as well stay here. Jensen slowly separates a hand... as he slowly manages to activate the talons of his left hand... he slowly presses both fingers, retracting the talons.

He returns to look at Gwen who still had the blanket, covering her and he had both her and the blanket as cover. He slowly gets comfortable, still hugging Gwen, she definitely didn't plan to move. He looked to the side... seeing a mirror... with the night vision, he could see himself... the way he looked... it was like Gwen was holding him for deae life, not willing to let him go... to let him die... which is what she is doing.

He slowly puts his thumb in her right side of her head... where she was shaved. He slowly caressed it, doing circles, with the fact that her head was at this point in his shoulder, this looks intentional of her side. She automatically got more comfortable but kept hugging, with him managing to put the blanket over them, if he was gonna sleep like this, might as well try to get comfortable.

Gwen: (voice)  "All or None."

Jensen: (voice) We're in this together, Gwen... is all or none.

Peter-1728: (voice) Either we all succeed, or none of us do.

Liz: (voice) I don't want to lose someone I love... not another one.

Gwen: (voice) I don't want this to end in death... I don't want to lose a friend... I don't... want to lose... you...

Jensen closed his eyes, letting his tired body finally rest... too many things have happened... but he can rest... knowing that maybe for the first time in so long... he is not alone. Gwen who was still asleep... dropped a tear... a single tear... as unknowingly, she hugged Jensen slightly tighter, putting her head close to the neck... now that's a sweetheart's cradle.

Next Morning

Peni next morning managed to finish the goober. Everyone was in the living room, with Noir in a couch playing with a rubik's cube, Spider-Ham was drinking coffee, Peni's robot SP//dr was behind it, crouched, with Gwen, Jensen and Peter on their feet. With a both having a hand on their back, Gwen grabs Jensen's hand which he accepts and intertwined his fingers with hers.

Noir: This is... purple.

Spider-Ham: No.

Peni walked out of the kitchen, proudly showing the new goober, which Jensen grabbed it with his free hand and lets go of Gwen's hand, putting the goober around his neck.

Noir: Blue.

Spider-Ham: No.

Gwen: (to Jensen) Did Miles tell you if he was coming back?

Jensen: We just talked about a few stuff, but I'm not sure if he is returning back here.

Peter: Look, he's just still clearing his head. I know the kid. He's got what it takes. I bet you he's gonna come back through that door, recharged and ready to fight.

Jensen: I hope my motivational speech did the work-

Just out of nowhere, the door opens and closes with Miles being the prime reason.

Miles: My uncle.

Jensen: Guess it did work.

Peter: Hey, where have you been?

Miles: My uncle Aaron, he's the Prowler.

Jensen: Slow down.

Miles: He works for Kingpin. He tried to kill me!

Noir: This is a pretty hard-core origin story.

Jensen: Parker!

Noir: What? Full on honesty, kid.

Peni elbows him after that, as Peter tries to calm Miles down.

Peter: It's okay. We're gonna figure it out.

Gwen: Were you followed?

Jensen's spider-sense activate after that, which sadly the others didn't notice.

Miles: No, I don't think so-

Jensen quickly took the goober off and pushed Miles away as their spider-sense activate after that, as from the door... a white blur tackled Jensen... it was Li... again. They looked at where Jensen was tackled, and Gwen about to chase Li, but quickly puts the mask on as well as everyone who didn't have it on... just Miles and Peter. Peter quickly puts the goober on too, right after putting the mask on.

From the broken door, it was none other than Doc Ock who entered the place with hands clapped, after putting down the trait May had on her hand.

Ock: Cute place. Real homey.

May: Oh, great. It's Liv.

Miles: I guess I was followed.

Spider-Woman: (closing her eye, a bit done) Oh no.

Peter: Get out of here, kid.

Miles tries to run back... but is met face with face with Tombstone.

Tombstone: You messed up bigtime, kid. Very sloppy.

And behind Tombstone was Scorpion with his mechanic legs and stinger.

Scorpion: Wacha estas arañitas.

The team was slowly covering for Miles, but he was still in the front technically.

Peter: Let me guess. You're Scorpion. Well, we're the Spider... uh... gang.

May: Would you mind taking this outside?

Noir: We don't pick the ballroom, we just dance.

Ock looks at Peter's chest seeing the goober hanging from it.

Ock: Ooh, I think I'll be taking that.

She quickly attacked Peter with one of her tentacles, tendrils, whatever they are, as Peter quickly dodged two of them but not the third, which pinned him to a wall, breaking it. The others ran towards the fight, each taking a different villain, but Miles who landed in the couch.

He looks forward seeing he has to face now Scorpion.

Scorpion: Stand, niñito, dale.

Miles: (deep voice) Prepárate a morir.

Even when he tried to sound cool, which he didn't, he had the couch pillows stuck in his hands.

Miles: (tries to shake them off) Man, stupid pillows.

Scorpion laughs but quickly attacks Miles with the stinger, blocking it with the pillows. Peni finally is able to enter the robot... doing a unnecessary anime entrance which they could've stopped but no one did, enters SP//dr, but accidentally by going up, she crashes into the roof, bringing the toilet down. May watched as her home was being destroyed by everyone in the room, but Miles. Tombstone was fighting Noir, but Ock kicked Spider-Woman back, with a tentacle he slams Spider-Ham and Peter who was already on the grip of a tentacle from Doc Ock. Miles was signaling to Peter to throw him the goober which he did, as Miles tries to grab it.

Miles: I got it!

He was hit with a tentacle of Doc Ock, which with the another tentacle, she grabs the goober, just to earn a punch from Spider-Woman who rips it from the villain's grip, quickly dodging her attacks, but as she lands on a wall, Scorpion slams the goober off of her grip, landing on Noir who was on Ock's grip... but he glitches, forcing him to let it go. Miles quickly goes and tries to grab it, while going through the battlefield, but misses and goes to grab it from the floor, but a foot covers the goober... from Tombstone.

Miles looks up in fear as Tombstone puts some golden knuckle dusters while laughing, as he goes to punch Miles... but earns a bat to the hand, knocking the knuckle duster off, by May Parker herself extremely angry.

May: I said, take it outside!

She quickly hits his stomach, sending him exactly where she wanted... OUTSIDE. Which from the sky, lands Jensen with his mask off still, butt first on Tombstone's face, but rolls back, as Li goes to impale Jensen, but he pulls Tombstone towards him, and impales the pale indestructible man in the chest, luckily missing some vital organs. He throws Tombstone away and swings kicks Li, putting the mask on.

The goober during that was flying, but was caught by Spider-Ham from the roof, who lands and tries to run away with it, but was slammed by Ock and she tries to get it, but doing the best a cartoon character does... he eats the goober, showing a huge smile and hands open, showing nothing, but she throws him to a wall and like a cartoon character... he spills the goober... just for Miles to catch it when it reaches the ground.

But his spider-sense activate, looking back and afraid goes to try and turn invisible, just from a window... The Prowler dashes from it, Miles barely dodging it. Prowler slowly gets up with Miles still afraid, as Peter steals the goober from Miles.

Peter: I got this, buddy. (to Prowler) Leave the kid alone!

He tackles Prowler, but Prowler now was the one on top of Peter, starting punch him, Peter was having a bit of a hard time taking him down. Peter kicks Prowler, but Prowler dashes at Peter, forcing him to drop the goober which lands by Miles, who quickly catches it. Prowler tries to attack Miles, but Peter makes a backflip, kicking Prowler, landing on a wall and slingshots to the purple masked villain, sending him through a wall, just to land.

Peter: You gotta go, man.

Peter was then thrown by Doc Ock, who also throws Peni out while holding Peter with a tentacle. Peni lands in a car, and Noir is kicked out of the house, just for Peter get smashed to a car, with an old lady screaming in fear.

Peter: Sorry, ma'am.

Peter gets pulled back and the granny drives in reverse at full speed. Spider-Woman jumped through the roof, as Scorpion did the same, chasing her, now using four mechanical legs. She starts to jump roof to roof, dodging his attacks... gracefully makes a backflip to another roof, and jumps back to Scorpion, kneeing his face, as she lands on her hands and makes another backflip. Her spider-sense activates, and looks back, dodging a sword... from Li. She looks at him who was running at her, he swings her sword at her which she gracefully dodges, but when she jumps away, he grabs her leg and slams her through the roof, both landing, in a empty house but definitely decorated, as he kicks her back and dashes at her.

Spider-Woman rolls and dodges another swing, quickly kicking his leg off balance, she uppercuts him, lifting him from the ground, quickly leaping above him, and goes to slingshot him to the ground, which she did. Making him groan on impact. She punches him a few times, but Li dodged one of the attacks, elbowing her face, making her get off him. He quickly gets up and shot a blast quickly forcing her to roll and then jump over another, but still in mid air, Li manages to punch her to the ground. She bounces once, about to quickly get up... but Li goes to strike her, but from one of the fences, a body was thrown at Li... one that looked like him... with the dark energy and all.

Li looks at the body, with the head in a 180, as Scarlet with his suit damaged from the fence slingshots at Li, both landing on the fence, but Li in the ground. Scarlet picks up Li, pinning him to the fence, delivering a a barrage of punches, but quickly changing to kicks, giving him a knee to the stomach, later a back kick to his chest, sending him through the fence.

Spider-Woman: What the hell-

She looks at the body in the ground, the body was making a sound, just for the head quickly heal back to its original place and seeing it get up, she slams the body to the ground and covers it in webs.

Spider-Woman: What's going on?! What was that?

Scarlet: Yeah, Martin can posses people... and with his connection to the Darkforce and possibly something else, they're virtually immortal as long as they're possessed by Li.

The possessed tried to break free, but Scarlet threw a web bomb, covering him even more, until Scarlet's spider-sense activate as well as Spider-Woman, the two jumping to opposite direction, with Li holding two swords, tries to slash them. The two landed on the spider pose, quickly dashing at Li, who swings at Scarlet, who had to pop both stingers, blocking a sword with a stinger, as Li turns the sword backwards, to thrust it to Gwen, who jumps over it and he tries slash her in mid air, but Scarlet stops it with his free hand, kneeing his stomach, quickly giving a back punch, and Spider-Woman jumps over Scarlet, slingshotting at Li, punching him to the ground.

But... the kick didn't do much to Li, he tanked it...

Spider-Woman: That worked last time-

Li delivers a punch at her, literally making her spin to the ground, leaving her groaning. Scarlet tries to impale Li... but with just his bare hands... he grabs his wrist... stopping Scarlet completely.

Scarlet: New... power up? Out of a sudden?

Negative: Courtesy of the collider... my connection to the Darkforce has grown.

Scarlet tries to push him, but Li matched his strength... no... completely surpassed it.

Negative: Couldn't let you get in my way. Had to make you think you can change me... don't hold back... cause you can't... I'm too... far gone.

Li headbutts Scarlet once and throws him away, right to the house. Gwen dashed and throws a punch which Negative dodged, then a kick from her, but summons a sword, quickly swinging at her, which connects slightly with her shoulder. She groans, holding her shoulder, as she blocks with her arm, maybe him grabbing her head and try to possess her. The amount of power he was releasing was killing the grass, and practically destroyed everything around them within a few feet.

Spider-Woman: Vengeance will not heal your wounds!

Negative: What do you know what I've gone through! This isn't vengeance... is JUSTICE!!!

He completely overpowered Spider-Woman, grabbing her arm, and smashing her to the ground, and then punching her far back. She gasps for air after that last punch from him. When he goes to attack her, Scarlet appears and kicks him in the face, quickly front flipping over one of his swings, webbing the sword to the ground, later able to connect a jumping roundhouse kick and ending it with a jump spin hook kick. He was actually able to hurt Li there when Spider-Woman's slingshot move didn't... she could tell from that, that he stopped holding back. Li after that kick, broke the web and sent an energy wave with one of his slashes, which cuts the next few houses... luckily May's was in the opposite side.

Scarlet tanked the attack, as he blocks the sword with his stingers and with his free hand, he punches Li straight in the face, delivering a good combi with the punches in the face, later ducking under the sword swing, standing in one hand and delivering a bunch of kicks... a barrage of kicks that looked like even afterimages due to how fast he was going. Li quickly tries to swing again, but he makes a backflip, quickly giving him a spinning kick which Li blocked with his free hand, and Scarlet puts both hands in the ground, to use his other leg. He stunned Li with the kick, as he leaps with both stingers popped out...

It ends horribly...

Li spins back at Scarlet... punching through his chest... his spider-sense activated but it was too late, he rushed completely with aggression there... right in the open... no way to dodge the attack... he just took it.

He took a long gasp as he saw his vision slowly turn black. Spider-Woman tried to get up after that last punch, but she couldn't see what happened. Negative looked in pure shock... it was not his intention to kill Scarlet. His hand was shaking from the moment... Scarlet gulped... gaged on his own blood running from him mouth.

Li quickly takes his hand off his body... as the body falls on his back, the blood in the grass... and his energy emitting in his bones... his chest. Li just... teleports away, leaving a bit of blood which his hand was dropping. Spider-Woman slowly walks towards the fence... just to see Scarlet's body.

Spider-Woman: J-Jensen?

Spider-Woman slowly walked, even taking her mask off... just to see the hole in his chest... making her gasp and almost vomit, completely losing strength in her legs... she was only breathing heavily... and that's about it. Noir and Spider-Ham ran to where Gwen was... only to see the body... with Spider-Ham comically turning his back and puking... but Noir just lowers his hat in utter shock.

Noir: Dear lord...

Everything was frozen around Gwen, but there was no tears, no screaming, no anger... there was nothing...

While in Scarlet's motionless hand... unknowingly... a spider climbs to the hand... just to lie down on it... ending... the chapter...

Chapter 12 is finally posted everyone, yes I did have planned the 50% spider thing... which would make you think that Miguel is his father... and if he is... shouldn't he be 25% spider?

Yes, the reasoning of him being 50% will be explored much later... not in this arc or in "Edge of the Mirror-Verse" Crossover. It will be explained in Across The Spider-Verse, and just cause he is 50% spider doesn't mean Miguel IS the father... I mean... the red eyes like Miguel? The fact that in Gwen's eyes, he was sort of fluent in Spanish, the talons, how I described the scene after Miles leaves... points out many Father like Son moments... but there is a multiverse out there... is Miguel of 928 really his father?

Yeah I also had planned Jensen's death.. I did, no kidding, I actually did have planned his death by the time I was writing Chapter 2, honestly, I think I could've done better.
