We arrive at the Cursed Lake. The feeling of betrayal sticks to me like a leach. The mountains were black as moon rocks and jagged like teeth. I get off of Ibis. Val pushes off him. He looks up at the mountain. 

"Let's go." He looks at me.

I nod. I tell Ibis to sit. I walk forward. Anubis and Set follow. I let out a breath. They're not gonna like this. There were rugged stairs. I look up and I feel the rain coming down. The rain doesn't wash the pain away. It doesn't wash the stains away. It just feels like rocks landing on my skin.

I walk with Val up the stairs. I am so tired of him. I am tired of everything he's made me do. I just want to be free of him and the only way I can is in death. Heh. This is kind of a win-win. He get's the Orathon, I won't have to deal with him anymore.

We manage to get to the top of the mountain. I look around. The usual for a creepy place. Warning signs. Skulls and skeletons litter the ground. There were also crosses around. Crosses with black fabric barley covering it. The wind howls.

"Lovely place this is." I say.

"I knew you'd love it." Val coos. 

"Let's just get this over with." I hiss.

"Whatever you say baby." He coos.
