Over the years, I've realized it's only a matter of time before I expire. It's only a matter of time before I fall into the abyss. I pull of my cape. So, soon I'll be accused of the highest treason. I sit on the bed with my face buried in my hands. I knew he'd be the death of me. I light my long smoking tube. I puff out smoke. Anubis comes to the bedside. He nudges me.

"Hector! Hector! We really need to talk!" Rapunzel bangs on the door.

"Hector your life is in danger!" King Edmund yells.

Tell me something I don't know. 

The door keeps banging. I let out another breath of smoke. I stand up. Anubis and Set follow me. They softly growl. I open the door.

"Hector! We know about the Orathon!" Rapunzel yells.

"So, you know I'm going to be sacrificed?" I ask.

"You have to escape!" Rapunzel yells. 

I look away. Escape? Not possible. It's not possible for me. I knew this road ends with my death. 

"Hector, we need to get you out of Valentino's sight." King Edmund yelled.

"No, you don't." I try to shut the door. 

"Hold on." Horace stops me. 

They enter the room. I look at them.

"How are you totally cool about being sacrificed?" Horace asks.

"Because I'm just a dead man walking." I answer.
