[Cue hip hop music playing in the castle]
Light footsteps enter, barefoot. A teenage boy. His body light and delicate as if it was effortless. The footsteps then swiftly transition into a dance, every twist and turn matching the beat of the music flawlessly. As he danced, warm light draped over his body; his loose trousers, his vest and his white dress shirt underneath. The loose tie hanging on his neck swayed with his movements. His soft red hair glowed as it bobbed along, illuminating the room with a warm light. Almost as if he was dancing alongside the sun, decorating the castle with warm colors. The boy was in full focus with sweat dripping off his forehead. Yet, his smile could tell anyone that he was indeed enjoying his time.
Over the music, a chattering sound is heard as a small little sugar glider popped in from the window.
Panting, the boy stopped dancing. Looking up, his brown eyes were still blazing before the glow died down.
"Odengie? Hello!" The red-head smiled widely.
Another sugar glider popped right next to it, it's round beady eyes on the boy as it let out a cheerful bark.
"Eomukie!"
The two sugar gliders raced towards the boy's arms as he burst into giggles. "Oh, my little ones, guess what hyung brought me the other day!"
Hobi skidded to his book shelf, which was so huge it filled the entire wall. He picked a velvet colored one, flipping the pages excitedly. "It's a new flower book hyung bought me! Oh, I can't wait to grow them!" He stuck his finger on one of the pages, beaming. "Shall we start with this one?"
Odengie and Eomukie nodded their heads with chirps of excitement.
Hobi closed his eyes as he felt a strong tingle at the tips of his fingers, a surge of power washing over him. He twirled, his feet gracefully brushing the wooden floor. His body started glowing again. Slowly, a tiny sprout grew from the pot. It wasn't long until the sprout expanded into an adorable little sunflower.
"Lovely, isn't it?" Hobi glanced at his two little sugar glider friends. "It's called a sunflower."
Carefully, the boy brushed his fingers through the petals. "Another one to add to my collection." He set the small flower pot on the table, matching perfectly with the several other flowers he grew in the house. Each time Hobi discovered a different flower, he would use his magic powers to grow them in his house. It became a hobby to him, other than dancing. And to tell you the truth, he was rather proud of his collection.
"Hobi!" A male's voice cried from outside. In shock, Eomukie and Odengie scurried away to hide. Without hesitation, Hobi looked out the tall castle to find Jin at the bottom. The boy couldn't really see Jin that well from afar, but he could tell that Jin hyung was in a good mood today.
"Coming, hyung!" Hobi waved his hand and vines grew between the bricks of the castle. Swiftly, as if he's been doing it daily, Jin climbed the vines to the top. Once he reached and entered the window, Hobi waved his hand once more and the vines grew backwards and disappeared from the cracks.
Out of habit, the younger hugged his hyung as the older combed Hobi's hair. "Morning, my little flower!"
"Morning, hyung!" Hobi greeted back. "I have a surprise for you!"
Jin grinned, holding onto Hobi's hands as the two danced around in circles. "How bout we dance first? Show me your dance moves, Hobi baby."
Hobi twirled around, then waved his arms and legs to the beat. His hair glowed red, energy surging in his veins as well as his surrounding space. Jin inhaled in relaxation, his subtle wrinkles disappearing instantly and his skin smoothed like a newborn.
The red head giggled, skipping while dancing towards a canvas that was hiding behind a shelf. He took it out, revealing a beautiful oil painted portrait of a male figure.
Jin widened his eyes in shock. "Oh my god, Hobi. It's beautiful- I-"
"It's you, Jin hyung! I've been working on this for a while while you were gone these past weeks. Hope you like it dear brother!" Hobi pounced in delight, his soft crimson hair bobbing up and down.
"Aiya, of course it's me. I'm worldwide handsome!" The older bursted a laugh in delight... then narrowed his eyes suspiciously at the boy. "What's the occasion though...?"
"Hyung... I was wondering..." Hobi fumbled with his fingers, eyes wandering at the floor. "Y'know. Since it's my eighteenth birthday tomorrow.... could you perhaps take me outside to celeb-"
Jin gasped, cutting the younger frantically in anger. "Stob it! Absolutely not!"
Hobi sighed. "But it's literally my eighteenth birthday. I mean, don't you sometimes wonder about the coincidences?"
"What coincidences?" Jin furrowed his eyebrows, upset.
The red head pointed outside, at the royal palace outside. "The hip hop music and the party lights far away. They always have that event coincidently on my birthday. It almost feels like, it's welcoming me to come and dance to the music. You know what I mean?"
The older sighed as well, looking hopelessly at his younger brother while brushing his red hair. "So you want to go outside? Why, Hobi..." Jin frapped the curtains closed as he started to sing.
[cue ♫Mother Knows Best♫]
Jin squeezed the boy's cheeks. "Look at you, as still a little sapling, just a sprout. You know why we stay up in this tower."
Hobi puffed out his cheeks in protest, "I know... but-"
The older continued ignoring Hobi, "That's right! To keep you safe and sound, dear." He sighed. "Guess I always knew this day was coming. Knew that soon you'd want to leave this shack. Soon, but not yet."
"But-"
"Shh!" Jin hushed the younger with a finger, combing his hair back. "Brother ...knows best." The older then dramatically twirled before continuing to sing. Strangely, party lights filled the room. Beautiful, yet making the younger slightly dizzy.
♫ Brother knows best. ♫
♫ Listen to worldwide handsome. ♫
♫ It's a scary world out there. ♫
♫ Brother knows best. ♫
♫ One way or another. ♫
♫ Something will go wrong, I swear! ♫
♫ Kidnappers, thieves, drug dealers, pests. ♫
♫ Demons, and snakes! ♫
♫ Homosexuals. ♫
"What?-" Hobi sputtered in confusion.
"YES." Jin cut the younger.
"But-"
♫ Also more snakes ♫
♫ Men with ghostly skin, and- ♫
♫ Stob it, Hope. You'll just upset me! ♫ Jin fake fainted.
♫ Brother's right here. ♫
♫ Brother will protect you. ♫
♫ Hobi, here's what I suggest! ♫
♫ Skip the k-drama, ♫
♫ Stay with ya brotha. ♫
♫ Brother knows best. ♫
♫ Brother knows best ♫
♫ Take it from worldwide cutie. ♫
♫ On your own, you won't survive. ♫
♫ Brother understands. ♫
♫ Brother's here to help you. ♫
♫ All I have is one request! ♫
The song stopped as confetti fell on top of the older out of nowhere. "Hobi?" Jin's voice turned serious, yet soft.
Hobi stared at the floor in guilt, "Yes?"
"Don't ever ask to leave this tower again."
The younger nodded his head, heart sinking but he knew he had no other choice but to comply. "Y-yes, hyung."
The atmosphere instantly lightened with warm sunlight as Jin wiped away his fake tears jokingly, "Now take my flying kiss you seki."
Hobi giggled, throwing one back at his hyung. Jin continued to sing, coming to a slow finale.
♫ Don't forget it. ♫
♫ You'll regret it. ♫
♫ Brother..... knows best. ♫
Hobi's older brother finally gave him a wink, rustling Hobi's red hair. "Good boy." His eyes widened in excitement, cheering up . "Hey! Hobi baby. How bout I get you some some hip hop CDs for you for your birthday?"
The red head boy smiled. "That would be great, hyung."
Jin smiled in delight, getting his bag. "I knew you'd love them! I'll be off to the shops, then! I'll be right back tonight, okay?"
"Okay..." Hobi responded lightly, his fingers automatically waved his hands as vines grew outside the castle. They guided Jin down to the ground.
Hobi sighed, mumbling to himself. "If only I could go down too..." He let his eyes wander outside again, staring at the beautiful royal palace outside. Despite Jin's warnings, Hobi couldn't help but wonder what's it really like.

[Meanwhile....]
"Okay, fine. Whatever. I'll trade it with a lollipop cause that's the only fuckin' thing I can afford here. Aright." Yoongi spat at the shop keeper, who handed him a bright green lollipop. Living a life poor was stressful for Yoongi, especially since he was abandoned by his parents at a very early age. Hence, it was natural for the boy to adapt bad habits such as stealing money. Along the way, he met Taehyung and Jungkook, who also went around the same fate as he did. Unfortunately, robbing around the streets didn't earn the three enough as they found themselves starving almost everyday.
Popping the candy in his mouth, Yoongi strolled casually down the dark alleyway. "This candy tastes like literal shit."
The brown haired arrived at an abandoned factory building, where one of the boys greeted him.
"Yoongi hyung. Did you get food?" Taehyung lazily lied on the dusty couch.
"No, couldn't afford anything there." Yoongi grumbled, sticking his lollipop in Taehyung's mouth.
"Wait, this tastes great." Taehyung licked on the lollipop, a boxy smile spread on his lips.
Yoongi narrowed his eyes, sitting down on the couch next to the boy. "What? No it doesn't... Anyways, where's the other brat?"
"I don't know. He hasn't been back since this morning."
Yoongi sighed as he headed back out to look for Jungkook. It was strange for the younger to head out alone for such a long time. The boy was starting to think Jungkook could've been in trouble.
"Wait up, Yoongs!" Taehyung caught up with Yoongi, panting. "I'll help you find him."
"Thanks. But you better not get lost or get into some shit, alright?"
"I won't!" The boy grinned, following along. "By the way, hyung. Jungkook did seem a little..." He furrowed his eyebrows.
"What." Yoongi demanded.
"He was just in a bad mood. Something about taking big risks would solve our problem and stuff."
Yoongi's face paled in realization. "Shit. That idiot." He raced to the royal palace.
"Hey! Wait up!"
───🍃🌻🍃───
Taehyung blinked as Yoongi hurried towards the castle. "Hyung, why are we at the Jung's royal palace?"
Yoongi groaned. "Jungkook kept whining about stealing the royal crown of the lost prince for the past few weeks. I declined that stupid idea cause it's a huge huge risk. I should've known he was that stubborn to get that crown."
"Guess he wanted to surprise us." Taehyung shrugged, not seeing it as a big deal.
The older facepalmed. "That idiot! Does he even know that the palace is guarded by tons of men? FRICKIN' ARMED MEN? He's gonna kill himself! Just wait til I get my hands on his neck-"
Taehyung gasped, cutting Yoongi and pointing at the bridge of the palace. "There he is!"
"Hey! Guys!" Jungkook beamed, running after them at full speed. Behind him, were dozens of soldiers on horses chasing after him.
"JUNGKOOK YOU IDIOT!" Yoongi yelled, starting to run the opposite direction from Jungkook, away from the soldiers.
"We're in a street chase! This is HELLA FUN!" The youngest boy threw his arms wide, catching up with Yoongi and Taehyung. Despite being chased after by the royal men, Jungkook was having the time of his life.
"No it isn't! We're gonna die!" Yoongi said between pants. "Follow me." He dragged the two boys into a crowded street, purposefully zig zagging and pushing past people. Making sure none of the men had their eyes on them, the boy turned sharply to a small alleyway. Their running paces slowed as they came to a stop, panting with exhaust.
"I... I think they're gone." Taehyung said.
Just after the boy said those words, the sound of horses galloping was heard as one of the men cried. "There they are!"
"Fuck. You jinxed it, Taehyung." Yoongi scolded, getting up to his feet again as they carried on sprinting. He heard the galloping of the horse approaching closer and closer. Yoongi knew they can't outrun a stallion. They were out of options.
"We gotta go in the forest." Yoongi commanded.
"The forbidden forest? Oh, hell yea. This chase just got ten times better!" Jungkook hyped, losing his breath but his eyes still glowed in excitement. Sometimes Yoongi suspected that he was just built for the edge of survival tension.
"Shut up! It's all you're fault we're going to jail. Or worse, going to jail and then sentenced to death!" Yoongi managed to say between pants, loosing his mind. He stumbled on a rock but regained his balance immediately.
As if things couldn't go any worse, the soldiers started shooting arrows at them. Yoongi's heart pounded as one zoomed past his head inches away.
Suddenly, he heard screams from Taehyung beside him. Rapidly, Yoongi turned to check on him. An arrow had struck him on his calf. Taehyung limped for his life, tears falling from his eyes.
Yoongi cursed to himself, about to help the younger when Jungkook stopped him. "I'll carry him. You carry my satchel, hyung."
The raven haired nodded, holding onto Jungkook's satchel. Immediately, Taehyung hopped onto Jungkook's back as they continue to sprint. Jungkook's speed did not slow down even with the injured boy in his back. Though, Yoongi knew this won't last for long. They had to find a spot to stay.
Yoongi turned to check on Jungkook and Taehyung but they were nowhere to be found. He stopped running, slowing his pace and coming to a halt. Where did the boys go?
The raven haired started to wander around, looking for Jungkook and Taehyung. But there were no signs of the two. The sounds of horses seem to fade away as well. Yoongi couldn't help but worry. The two must've been caught...
Yoongi shook away those thoughts. They were probably just lost in the forest... Not daring to yell for their names just incase the soldiers were still there, the boy patiently searched around the forest. He searched for the boys until he grew exhausted.
"I should go back..." Yoongi mumbled to himself, losing hope. Strangely, Jungkook's sachet seemed heavier than it should. The raven haired opened the bag, taking a peek. His face paled in shock, hands quivering. It was the crown. The missing prince's crown was in his hands all along...
Frantically, Yoongi walked around in thought. "I didn't think Jungkook would actually steal... oh shit... shit..." The boy started to contemplate what he should do with the crown. If he returned the crown, he'd go to jail for sure. But if he kept it with him even longer... someone's gonna eventually find out... Maybe I should just sell it in the black market... Yoongi decided amongst himself.
He attempted to lean on a tall bush, which turned out to be hollow. The boy fell into the empty layer of leaves, crashing to the ground. Yoongi cursed. "Ow... who the hell made a fake bush here..."
Strangely, Yoongi got up only to find that he was being surrounded by a new atmosphere.
He was engulfed between tall mountains with just little streaks of sunlight passing through. A peaceful waterfall surrounded the space. A slim but tall castle peaked in the center with tiny vines sprouting between the cracks.
"Perfect. Might as well stay here." Yoongi sighed in relief. Knowing that the soldiers were still searching for the crown, it's probably best he stayed in the forest til they're gone.
Yoongi struggled to get up the castle, as there was no entry and there were barely any vines strong enough to climb on. His fingers latched onto the gaps, holding on as tight as he could.
"Ugh... wish the vines were longer... Would've been easier to climb up this castle..." Yoongi complained to himself, straining to get up the last few blocks of stone.
When he finally reached to the top of the window, he let himself collapse into the castle, panting in exhaustion. "Should've just gone home..." He groaned.
"Ow!" Yoongi cried as a sharp pain spiked from his ankle. It was a sugar glider. Two sugar gliders. They were scratching and biting, attacking the intruder. He attempted to shake them away, protecting himself. "Darn it you pesky critters! Let me rest in peace!"
"W-what do you want?!" A boy immersed from the shadows, he was barefoot and dressed in rags. He wore a dirty white dress shirt with a black vest. Despite his soulless outfit, his bright red hair stood out from the rest. His eyes glared at Yoongi, scared but attempting to seem brave.
Yoongi widened his eyes in shock. "Sorry. I didn't know someone was living here." Noticing the red head's slight fear, Yoongi confidently stepped forward. "Look, I was just looking for a place to stay."
The red haired boy tensed. Eyes rounding in fear. "Hey! Back off!"
Yoongi tilted his head, continuing to approach the boy. "No, no. I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm just asking for a favo-."
The boy kicked Yoongi out of self protection, causing the raven haired to collapse on the floor unconscious.

"Oh my god. Eomukie, Odengie... what have I done? I think I killed a boy." Hobi sputtered. "What do I do?!"
The two sugar gliders chirped wildly at the same time, running around in total chaos. Hobi kneeled down to take a closer look at the mysterious black haired boy. Putting a finger under his nose, Hobi noticed the boy still breathing. Just as Jin said, the boy was ghostly pale. Hobi noticed that he was also carrying a sachet. The boy dumped the contents from the bag, finding a shiny crown and some gold coins.
Hobi tilted his head in confusion. Confused as to why a regular boy would carry such delicate and valuable items. Is he a thief? Hobi thought to himself, shivering in fear. Intuitively, his hands wandered to the crown, picking it up. Something about the crown gave him a sense of warmth and belonging. Something about its design looked so familiar to him.
Eomukie and Odengie's sudden chirps surprised Hobi. The red head's eyes shifted back at the mysterious boy. "Eumokie, Odengie... he's exactly what Jin hyung warned to me about... but why do I get a feeling he wasn't trying to hurt me?" Hobi wondered.
