After a couple days of the silent treatment, Bakugou began speaking again. Kirishima was relieved, to say the least.

He still wasn't the same, but he refused to talk about it. And if Kirishima tried to get it out of him, he'd go quiet for a few hours.

So he quit prying.

"Bakugou? Come on down, lunch is ready!"

Slowly but surely, Bakugou went downstairs and grabbed his food. He took a few bites, then pushed the plate away and left.

Kirishima looked longingly after Bakugou as he went back up the stairs, then took the almost full dish of food.

He knew something was wrong. But he just couldn't find out what.
