I slowly open my eyes. The sun was blazing as always. It's always one extreme to the other. First the day is blazing as fire. Then the night comes like a cold tsunami. I suck in the dry air. Of course, he made me more human than I could ever imagine. My throat feels as dry as the hill I'm on. My body is getting weaker by the day. Time has seemed to fade in this world. 

I feel something on my stab wound. Something like a leach. I look down. I see a creature. A bat shaped of some sort. Little blood suckers like vampires. Its face was a white skull. Is it dead? Is it undead. Its color was brownish of a sort. Dark, reddish. It's latched on my chest. It slurps blood like nectar.

"What a curious thing you are." I mutter.

It looks up at me. I wince. This is definitely not healthy for me, though I suppose I can't do anything about it. At least this bat like creature shields my wound from the blazing sun. It's good that crows and bat like creatures are here in this prison. I am not totally alone.
