Why has an epic such as the Mahabharata, been called 'mythology'?

Why have we ingested dubious terminology?

Is this not a matter to cogitate?

Why hesitancy to use our own cultural terms such as 'itihaas'?

Why just accept only one definition of 'history'?

Is this not a matter to cogitate?

Why obsession with 'shipping' characters, so out of context ?

Why do we not find in Vyasa's epic itself subtle relationships?

Is this not a matter to cogitate?

Why diminish Mahabharat to the level of Harry Potter and Avengers?

Why are cultural icons thus trivialised?

Is this not a matter to cogitate?

Why choose to depict characters in particular ways?

Why are today's standards hoisted onto epics true for their time?

Is this not a matter something to cogitate?

Why are villains made out to be heroes?

And heroes into villains?

Is this not a matter to cogitate?

Why are actors and actresses the main focus?

Why is there this 'soap-opera' obsession so overwhelming?

Is this not a matter to cogitate?

Why is Sanskrit, cultural language of Bharat, not  part of education?

Why have we lost the keys to the subtleties it unfolds?

Why is there not greater interest in the geographical settings of the epic?

Why be festooned with gigantic nose-rings and not by the flora, fauna?
