The shoot life has never been easy. It looks all dreamy but only the ones who work in that environment know how tough everything actually is. The extensive shooting hours, extreme weather changes outdoors, dysfunctional eating habits, change in sleeping schedule, sometimes playing with your body to get into the skin of the character, and other times just ignoring your health. Everything takes a toll. Mentally as well as physically. But when we are passionate and crazy about our work then what's there to stop?

Today was one of that regular days for Kainaat Mukherjee where her shoot got over around 2 in the morning. It took her another hour to get out of her heavy getup as she was playing a historic character for today's shoot and get into her car. But instead of going to her own house her driver took a turn and put the car on the Bandra-Worli sea link that would lead her to Avyan's home. She never let her parents wait for her when she had some late-night calls. Avyan anyway got shifted to his own house a year back making it easier for her and providing her with a place where she can go on nights like these. She anyway had one key with her so him being or not being inside his pad never mattered. She yawned and closed her eyes momentarily as she let out a deep breath.

Today was a long day with so many things happening. First, her morning shoot got shelved because her lead actor didn't show up in time. Then when he finally did after waiting for a couple of hours, he started throwing tantrums over some of his costumes which he didn't like. The film's director along with others was panicking while anticipating how Kainaat would react to this considering her bad temper and straightforward nature which won't let her take shit from anyone. But today was a bit different because of the news of Kainaat and Avyan together taking the internet by storm and she was busy while looking at their shipper's reaction on social media.

There were a few negative comments, especially directed towards her as a few set of people who loved Avyan and his easy-going nature found Kainaat not a perfect match for him. Why? Because they thought she is too bitchy for a sweet boy like him. There was another set of people who hated on her just because she's not the actress they shipped Avyan with and these people didn't mind directing their hatred towards Avyan as well. She never understood such people who call themselves fans but all they do is judge their favourite stars for the life they live. Anything that's against their perspective of you will earn you tons of hatred and troll. She shook her head in disappointment and ignored them and focused on the positivity like always because those are the people who care and that's why they matter. Kainaat sighed when the driver pulled the breaks.

She got out of the car along with her purse and instructed her driver to pick her up the next morning an hour before her shoot call. He just nodded and left along with the car she allowed to have with him.

Tiredly she finally reached Avyan's door and looked at the watch. It stroke 3:30 in the morning. She sighed and pulled out the keys to the apartment. The darkness was filling the space when she made her way inside. Instead of turning on the lights or finding anything to eat despite her hunger, she made her way towards Avyan's room. Kainaat carefully opened the door to the bedroom and peeked through it only to see him sleeping peacefully in his usual pose. On stomach. Some of the scripts were lying messily to his side. Kainaat smiled gently and got inside while closing the door behind her. Keeping her purse on the ground, she hopped on the bed and rested herself carefully on his back. Avyan moved gently while sensing the sudden weight but didn't bother to open his eyes.

"Tired?" He asked in a sleepy voice. Kainaat sighed and held his hand resting on the side.

"Hmm... And hungry too." She said through whin. Avyan just smiled without speaking anything while still closing his eyes.

"Avyan!" Kainaat shouted with irritation while he chuckled.

"I can't move unless you do." He said teasingly, "You weigh too much, Inu."

Inu was the name Avyan gave her when they were barely a few years old. Reason? At his younger age, he couldn't pronounce the very difficult name which Kainaat was. So, he would end up making her angry with his weird versions of her name. After days of thinking, he finally came to one conclusion and started calling his best friend with that name, Inu. Kainaat minded it at first but later she got used to it. Even their families started calling her the same and it has now become her official and favourite pet name amongst her closest people along with Chimney and Rani. The other being K, Naatz which is fondly used by her friends.

"Shut up!" She said and hit him on his arm. Avyan laughed while her frown just deepened. She moved from his back but Avyan rolled on his back and held her by throwing his arms around her. She fell back on his front but managed to hit him again but he was least bothered. He instead pulled her closer and placed a small peck on her neck. Kainaat smiled but pushed him further while freeing herself from his gentle grip.

"Get up!" Kainat shouted again and pulled his comforter. Avyan sighed while sitting on the bed and yawning. Kainaat threw the sheet towards him which hit his face. Avyan threw her an irritated look. She smirked and gave him a flying kiss before speaking again, "Give me some food."

"There must be something in the fridge," Avyan said pushing his feet into the sleepers and standing straight. He stretched his hands up in the air while Kainaat frowned at him.

"Must be?" She asked folding her hands over her chest and giving him a questioning look. He gave her a sheepish smile and moved past her. Kainaat followed him out while she started shouting with irritation again, "Avi, I told you to keep something extra always. I can show up any day but you just are too much into yourself that you don't even bother to listen to me."

Avyan sighed while reaching up the fridge in the kitchen and bent down while opening it to look for something. He just prayed Kichu, his helper didn't throw away everything.

"Relax, what happened?" He asked lazily as the sleep still resided in his eyes while making them a little heavy. He took out a few containers and made his way towards the dining table.

"I am hungry. That useless Arjun kept on making me wait for bloody two hours in that hotness." Kainaat said with frustration. Avyan raised his eyebrows giving all his attention to her. Her getting frustrated on a movie set is not new. She has lost her cool many times in the past which just added to industry people talking ill about her behaviour.

"And?" He asked. Kainaat shrugged and opened the containers one by one feeling relieved to see her favourite Tofu.

"And what? I didn't say anything. How can I shout at the director or others when the person at the fault was that brat. What does he think? Having a director as your father allows him to do as he pleases?" She said and handed over the containers with Tofu, Dal Tadka, and Rice.

"I am glad you kept your calm," Avyan said and sighed. He took the containers and walked towards the kitchen counter to make the food warm in the microwave.

"I shouldn't have actually. I should have..." Kainaat was saying when Avyan cut her after taking out the required food on the plate and shutting all the containers again with the remaining food.

"Don't do anything. Those people already favour you so much." He said and put the dish inside the microwave. Kainaat threw him a glare.

"Are you worried that your image will get stained now?" She asked while raising her eyebrows. Avyan threw her an irritated look while waiting for the food.

"Will you seriously just eat this and stop talking nonsense?" He asked and sighed looking at the frown on Kainaat's face before speaking again, "I am just worried for you."

The microwave went off with a beeping sound and Avyan took out the plate.

"I know your last two films did great but one mistake can ruin you." He said while walking towards her and kept the plate at the front. Kainaat rolled her eyes and started digging in her food. Avyan took a cue from her silence and thought of changing the topic.

"Are you attending the party?" He asked and poured the water into the glass for her. Kainaat gave him a confusing look.

"What party?" She asked.

"The one Chopra is throwing," Avyaan said again. She chuckled and shook her head.

"I am not invited." She said taking a bite. Avyan sighed.

"We are. I got the message from Adi today." He said.

"Well, then he invited you and not me. Saying he is inviting us was formal because I am your girlfriend and he can't hurt his favourite." She said again and shrugged before speaking again, "Ask him to message me, and then I will think." Avyan gave her a hopeless look.

"You and your attitude." He said shaking his head. Kainaat winked at him with a smirk while making him chuckle again.

"So, how was your day?" She asked. Avyan shrugged.

"Good. It was just a brand shoot. Nothing much." He said.

"Which one?" Kainaat asked considering his never-ending list of brand endorsements.

"Santoor." He said. She let out a laugh hearing that name. Avyan frowned while looking at her.

"I don't even understand why would you endorse Santoor? I mean why?" She said finishing her plate and taking the glass of water to gulp it down.

"Just..." He said, "Anyway leave that."

"Chabra wants to cast us together for the first time but I didn't like the script," Avyan said again. Kainaat nodded while getting up with the plate and glass to put them in the sink and wash her hands.

"What was it about?" She asked.

"Some vulgar comedy," Avyan said and got up as he followed her to the kitchen. Kainaat gave him a disgusted look and poured the water on her hands.

"I am out too." She said while shaking her head.

"Don't worry as I already said a straight no on behalf of both of us." He said while holding her from the back and placing a few kisses on her neck. Kainaat chuckled and shoved him away.

"You did good at least this once." She said and threw some sprinkles of water on him. He tried to dodge it but it hit him anyway. Avyan gave her an unpleasing look while she started laughing. He made his move quickly and before she could run away, he grabbed her while pulling her closer to him. Kainaat laughed again and threw the remaining water on him but he instead kissed her cheek.

"Many of your wellwishers want you to date Shanaya as she is sugary sweet as you." Kainaat said. Avyan smiled hearing her everyday rants about his closeness with his co-stars. It is the last thing she worries about but she just loves to tease him with the same.

"Hmm... Some want me to marry Kriti, some others Kiara. I can't just go on marrying all of them, Jaan." Avyan said and pecked on her ear making her shiver. He smiled knowing his effect on her and whispered while still staying close to her ear, "I am happy with my special one." Kainaat smiled widely.

"So cheesy, Avi." She said while giggling and pulled him closer by throwing her arms around his neck. Avyan smiled and pulled her closer to him.

"Our fans are going crazy too. My Instagram and Twitter are flooding with so many requests and messages." Kainaat said pulling away and frowning while looking at him.

"They keep asking us to appear more together, post some selfies together and do some movies or brands together." She said with a complaining voice. Avyan smirked.

"We already got one, babe." He said making her confused.

"What?" She asked.

"Brand. I will tell you more later. You got a shoot in the morning. Go to sleep." He said and turned her around while keeping his hands on her shoulder. Kainaat smirked and held his T-shirt as she pulled him closer.

"The night is too young, baby," She whispered in his ear and pecked on his lips. Avyan smirked and moved his gaze to meet her. She was inches apart. She smiled seductively and winked at him as she moved away and made her way upstairs to his room. Avyan chuckled and shook his head before following her upstairs.
