"I can't believe he's still taking orders from that asshole!!" Hido yelled kicking something.

"He's getting hurt way too much! No one should be treated like him." Kobuyasu said. 

"I know, but we can't interfere. He burned him the last time." Umehara said. 

"He wouldn't have if someone didn't bring the money." Kobuyasu said looking at Kaido. 

"I'm sorry! I panicked!" Kaido cried.

"We have to do something, maybe I can talk to him." Teruhashi said.

"It's too dangerous." Kaido said.

"He has like guns." Kobuyasu said. 

Mom and Dad sat at the table. They invited the nuisances for lunch. Though no one really ate. This house has bad memories. 

I wish Saiki would just quit. Kaido thought.

"Why can't he just quit?" Grandmother asked. 

"Well uh..." Dad started. 

"He sold his soul off." Trooty answered coming into the room. 

Kaido and the others who haven't seen her jumped. 

"As have I. We are pawns in Valentino's game." Trooty let out a breath.

She sniffed the air.

"Mmmmm. Something smells good." Trooty said hopping onto the table.

She took a bite out of Kaido's pork chop. 

"Mmm. Someone knows how to cook here." Trooty said chowing down. 

"What do you mean sold off his soul?" Hido asked. 

"Exactly like it sounds. We are not alive nor are we dead by definition. Our souls are trapped inside blue lanterns he keeps on his neck just to keep us in check." Trooty said between mouthfuls.

"So that's why he can't quit." Kaido said. 

"And he also threated all of you so..." Trooty said. 

"Wait what?" Mom said. 

"He threatens the people who we care about saying that if we don't do what we're supposed to do he will shoot their brains out." Trooty said. 

"Saiki... cares about us?" Teruhashi asked. 

"Maybe not you, but the rest of you except Nendou." Trooty answered. 

"That explains why he's saved my life." Kaido said smiling. 

"I just figured out how we can beat Valentino! We can steal their souls back!!" Nendou yelled.

Trooty burst out laughing. 

"Hahahaha! Hahahaha! In all five thousand years I've been alive I have never heard a joke funnier! Thank you, idiot! I am reminded I can still laugh. Hahaha!" Trooty laughed. 

She laughed for over 5 minutes. She looked around no one was laughing.

"Wait, your being serious?" Trooty asked. 

Nendou nodded. Trooty slapped him hard. 

"There is no way of getting those necklaces. He wears them 24/7 and he's a dangerous man." Trooty said. 

"Then what do you want us to do?" Dad asked. 

"Nothing. Stay out of it." Trooty said.
