Arnav sat in his swivel chair in his majestic office thinking about the steamy love making he and Khushi had last night and into the early hours of the morning.

He both didn't want to leave the bed but he knew he had to as he had a lot of paper work and Khushi had an online class with her teacher.

The alarm on his desk went off indicating someone was behind the door and he pressed the button on it and in entered Aman who smiled seeing his boss in a good mood.

"What? " Arnav asked with a smirk on his face and Aman shook his head smiling and placed the documents and files in front of him and walked out closing the door behind him.

"Khushi bhabhi is a magician...... She is the only reason behind his smile. " Aman thought as he walked out of the office floor of Arnav and down to the employees section.

He saw people standing looking stunned and turned followed their gaze and smiled seeing Khushi entering the building like a boss looking professional and elegant.

She was holding what looks like food in a brown bag as she walked and everyone greeted her and those who she was friends with during her stay in AR and some came congratulating her on her relationship with Arnav and whilst those who bullied her kept their distance not wanting to loose their jobs for messing with the woman of ASR.

What they didn't know was she wasn't his woman but his wife and every soon the world was going to know.

"Khushi bhabhi. " Aman exclaimed and opened his arms and Khushi hugged him. "Welcome back boss. "

He bowed and Khushi hit him playfully on his chest laughing with him.

All this while Lavanya and her minions were standing upstairs watching Aman and Khushi take the elevator to Arnav's office.

"Lavanya are you going to let her get away with stealing your man. " Pam said trying to instigate Lavanya against Khushi and Sim nodded in support.

Unknown to Lavanya, Sim and Pam had been paid by Anjali to instigate her against Khushi.

Lavanya walked back into her office and closed it as she slip down with tears streamed down her face remembering how Arnav left the party with Khushi, the support from his family which she never got until she changed into someone else and how Anjali had called her a gold digger when she angrily call her last night to rip into her for not telling her about her deal with Arnav.

She felt used by everyone including Khushi and she wasn't going to let them get away with it.

A menacing looked appeared on her face and she wiped her tears thinking of a way to make Khushi pay for betraying her.

Arnav's Office.

Arnav was busy signing and reading through some papers when he heard the alarm and pressed the button opening the door.

"Take this and tell the legal team to make the clause more flexible for all parties to benefit. " Arnav instructed not looking up as he handed the paper which was taken out of his hand.

"I can't do that because the boss is not paying me. " A familiar voice replied and Arnav looked up surprised to see a smiling Khushi.

He was mesmerized seeing how elegant she looked and he stood up with his hands in his pocket.

"Like my new style? " Khushi asked as she swirled around smiling.

Arnav laughed and pulled her into his arms and kissed her.

"My Pari will rock any outfit she wears flawlessly and effortlessly. "

Khushi giggled and pecked his lips and pulled away.

"I brought lunch and don't you dare say you have work...... You left me alone this morning. " Khushi complained as she walked to the visitors lounge in the office and placed the food she brought on one of the glass center table.

She turned face straight into a hard chest and Khushi looked up at Arnav angry and Arnav smiled and pecked her nose.

He sat on the couch and pulled Khushi unto his lap as she let out a sudden scream.

"Am so sorry baby..... I had to come to office early and you were looking so peaceful that I didn't want to wake you up...... God knows how I was able to control myself from not staring at my angel all day as she slept...... Forgive me. " Khushi nodded and snaked her arms around his neck and pecked his lips making Arnav smile. "Now how was class today? "

Khushi smiled nervously and Arnav raised his eyebrows at her and she sighed defeated.

"I missed it because I overslept but she will schedule another one in two days....... So I cook for you instead."

Arnav smiled and nodded staring at the bag she brought.

"So what did my Pari make for me? "

Khushi stood up and pulled out a two tupperwares and opened it.

Arnav stared at the food in shock but a smile followed seconds after.

It was his favorite which Mauli the mother of Khushi prepared for him each time her asked for it.

It was chicken biryani with coconut cilantro chutney and it had the same aroma as the one Mauli made for him.

His eyes teared up remembering the woman who made feel what motherly love felt like.

He pulled Khushi by the waist and hugged her.

"It's maa's recipe she made for you remember? " Arnav nodded staring up at Khushi who wiped his tears and stood up serving him. "I found her recipe book in one of the boxes and decided to surprise you. "

Arnav teared up again and eat like he hasn't eaten in years and Khushi looked pleased seeing him enjoy the food.

He offered her some but she denied it as she was contented with him enjoying the food.

After half an hour Arnav belched satisfied and Khushi giggled at him.

Arnav thanked and her and they chatted for nearly an hour and until Khushi had to end it remembering he had a lot of work.

Akash's Office.

A man sat in front of Akash staring at him and he knew the report he brought him will leave him in shock.

"Mr Raizada, there is more but since you wanted to know how far we are with the investigation, this is what we found for now but to get a detailed information on the background check on your brother in law and sister, it's will take a few months and I think you should prepare for the worse. "

Akash stared at him with mixed emotions of anger, shock and hate.

He stood up pacing back and forth with his hand running through his head.

"Dheeraj you can leave now and thanks for the report but please make the rest quicker. " Akash said and the private investigator excused himself.

Akash slammed his hand on his desk fuming in anger and picked up the report and moved out and towards Arnav's office which was on the same floor but different section of the building.

Akash entered the office to Arnav staring at him concerned seeing Akash looking pissed.

"Aki are you okay? " He asked concerned as Akash sat down and took off his glasses staring at Arnav whose concerned peaked.

"Bhai, nothing is alright........ We are surrounded by venom and we eat, sleep and breath with them in the same house. ......... Payal revealed a secret her family forced Khushiji to hid and I want you to know what I am about to tell you is heartbreaking and Khushi is the only victim in all of this. " Akash revealed what Payal had told him but he was confused seeing Arnav looking calm but with guilt in his eyes. "You knew? " Akash questioned and Arnav nodded and revealed everything including the aftermath of the discovery.

To say Akash was stunned will be an understatement and he looked kind of disappointed and hurt that Arnav hid all this from him.

"Am sorry Aki...... I was planning on letting you know believe me. "

Akash sighed and nodded and Arnav felt relieved seeing him so understanding of the situation.

"I can't believe you and Khushi were friends during your childhood but am happy she is my sister in law and she is the owners of MK textiles........I understand why you hid it but we have a bigger problem here..... Just like you, I also had private detective do a background check on Shyam something we should have done in the beginning and not fall for the cheap blackmail of Anjali and maybe then we wouldn't have been fooled all these years."

Akash placed the file he was holding in front of Arnav who frown but picked it up and started reading it.

"Di is a liar and a fraud....... She was Shyam's mistress and helped him divorce his wife to marry her and not only that, Shyam has numerous mistresses in town and he is not working like he made us believe...... His licence has been suspended for the past two years after a female colleague accused him of sexual harassment and he was given choice to resign and face charges or he accepts his license being prevoled for the next fours years and he accepted for his license to be revoked but the women still want ahead and pressed charges against him except it was dropped later on and do you know why the charges were later drop? " Arnav stared at Akash in shock as he continued." Di had paid the woman ten crores to drop it....... Di knows all her husband's disgusting character and is helping him cover it up...... Unfortunately we still don't know if she also knows about his fake new work and why she has kept quiet about all this and pretending he is the best husband in the world........ As much as I am angry, we have to wait for a few months to find out more which Shyam really is and same goes for Di."

Arnav started fuming but relaxed composing himself and stared at Akash with a stern and serious look on his face

"I want to slap that demon but for now we have to pretend we don't know anything about their wrong doings and I don't want us to confront her at the moment...... We will pretend until we have all the evidence to expose her and that criminal husband of hers....... I know it will be hard but we have to try...... Until then, Khushi and Payal will have twenty four hours and so would Shashi as for buaji and Garima I don't give damn about them...... I will speak to the Sunit Malhotra to sell me his house. "

"You mean the one opposite us? " Akash asked and Arnav nodded.

"Khushi, Shashi and Kamala will move in and Payal can also see her father as much as possible if we are neighbors...... It will be much easier to protect them if they are close and monitor Anjali and Shyam more easier........ I will have Aman hack their phones and for every conversation to be monitor by a team who will report directly to only us....... We have to make this known to only Khushi, Payal and Nk including Kamala and Shashi....... Get back to work and when you get home make sure you tell Payal in private and I will do the same with Khushi and the others....... For now we keep Nani,Mami and uncle in the dark until it's time to strike. "

Akash nodded and left the office.

He was pissed off by Anjali's deception but a sudden happiness over took him discovering Khushi was his sister in law and soon to be neighbor which he knew will help in Payal's therapy to see her father and sister anytime she wants.

Khushi was walked into the parking lot reserved for Arnav, Akash and Aman after Aman escorted her out while teasing her.

She was about to enter the car which has been opened by her driver when she heard clapping and looked towards the direction of the clap to find Lavanya walking up to her clapping.

"Khushi ma'am let me call ASR. " Suresh the driver of Arnav who was now assigned to drive Khushi said and Khushi shook her head and begged him to leave the alone because he didn't want to.

He was hesitant at first but trusted his boss as he walked away to the other side but close enough to jump to Khushi's rescue if she needs it.

"Wow I have to admit you are a master of disguise...... All this time you pretended to hate ASR whilst you were plotting to get into his pants....... You worked your way into the heart of Nani and Mami who doesn't mind your public display of your affair with ASR but made me feel like shit because I was in a live in relationship with ASR....... Nani and Mami saw me as some disposable human being not worthy of their son until the woman they wanted for ASR arrived....... You are such a gold digger and a fraud. " Lavanya yelled out loud making Suresh rush to them but Khushi raised her hand stopping him in his track.

"Coming from the woman who gladly accepted to be paid to be in a fake relationship with a man..... Took advantage of him giving her access to boutiques and jewellery shops under the company name and racking up thousands of dollars in clothes and accessories as payment for her pretending to be his girlfriend. " Khushi revealed walking up to Lavanya who looked shocked and Khushi chuckled. "He told me everything and before you go oh I love him..... I fell in love with him blah blah blah, save that bullshitting for someone who would believe you because you were never in love with him but his money and status and what you could get from it.... This anger is because he didn't chose you and this broke your illusion which you have made into reality in your head...... Be warned Lavanya, don't play with me and I have eyes on you...... Stay away from me and my Arnav or else you will never have a job until you die...... Go get angry at Anjali who kept your hopes up. " Lavanya gulped and moved back as Khushi walked up to her until her back hit a Lamborghini behind her. "And an advice from me to you, move on Lavanya and stay away from Anjali because that witch is bad news and destroyed everything she touches and she doesn't care even if it's her family she is hurting...... And stay away from me."

"This is not over yet Khushi. " Lavanya yelled out as Khushi walked away nonchalantly.

Suresh smiled seeing her boss's woman on fire and he finally understood why Arnav was so in love with her and they were both the same but in a different ways.

Khushi entered her car and Suresh drove out leaving a crying Lavanya behind.

Outskirts of Delhi.

A man sat in his office looking frustrated and angry with his office turned upside down.

Papers scattered everywhere with tv broken and scattered vases and glasses everywhere.

A middle aged woman entered and was shocked seeing the state of her husband's office.

"Gautam what nonsense is this?..... Don't you know you can hurt yourself and others......What the hell pissed you off so much that you have destroyed the office I spent hours and thousands decorating? " The woman yelled at her husband as she pushed her way the scattered glasses and papers with her heels to get to him.

"Kunal and Mauli's daughter is back and an announcement has been made of her take over....... A full auditing has started and they will definitely find out about the embezzlement we committed. "

The woman gulped down the lump in her throat which formed due to the news.

She sat down facing her husband who was rubbing his forehead to relieve the migraine that has hit him.

"Gautam if this girl is like her father then she won't spare us." The woman exclaimed remembering how years ago Kunal had humiliated them in front of the employees for embezzlement.

"Rhea this all your fault. " Gautam accused and she stared at him shocked. "Don't look shocked because if your men had eliminated that girl then she wouldn't have been here...... I am sure the people who took her away knew it was an assassination attempt that's why they waited this long to reveal her....... I am not going down for your crimes when the time comes. "

Rhea was fuming at her husband's audacity to blame her and wanted to lash out at him but they needed to be a united front against their new owner.

"You may have gotten away the last time but I won't let you live long...... Count your days. " Rhea whispered.
