The doors of the mansion opened and in entered Lavanya in a wheelchair being pushed by Nk.

Nani and Mami stood in front of them with Khushi, Arnav and the others smiling at her.

Lavanya mouth started trembling indicating she was about to cry and as if on cue she started crying.

"Why?....... Why are you all so kind to me after everything?...... What are you people made off? " lavanya cried out and Nani walked up to her and lifted her bowed head smiling down at her.

"Everyone makes mistakes in life...... Take I and Manu for example, we have made so many mistakes and yet life has given us a second chance to correct our mistakes....... You are a victim in the greed and selfishness of your parent and you think you don't deserve a second chance...... You of all people deserve it than the likes of I and Manu. " Mami nodded in support of Nani.

"Hello hi bye bye sasuma is right and you better stop this nonsense or I slap you. " Mami joked showing her her hand and Lavanya giggled and nodded.

She peeked towards Khushi and Nk saw this and pushed the wheel chair towards Khushi but Nani stopped them and welcomed Lavanya probably before Nk wheeled her towards Khushi.

She held Khushi's hand and kissed it which surprised her and everyone.

"Khushi you are my God...... Because only God can be as kind and caring as you are. " Lavanya cried out. "After everything I did to you, you still found me a therapist to help me through my trauma and I will be the most ungrateful person on earth if I let it all go to waste because I was weak in front of my parents...... I promise you I won't let you and Nk's hardworking go to waste....... I will continue my therapy and heal from my trauma. "

Everyone was pleased hearing Lavanya because it was one of the things they were afraid that she would break and all of their efforts will go to waste.

"You need to rest...... Come with me let me show you your room. " Payal said as the whole family except Khushi and Arnav moved to Anjali's old room.

Arnav turned Khushi around and snaked his arms around her waist and smiled at her.

"Lavanya is absolutely and undeniably right...... You are God..... My God. "

Arnav kissed her and she reciprocated but pulled away giggling.

"Behave yourself. " Khushi scolded blushing and poked his chest making Arnav laugh as they walked towards Lavanya's new room.

Sinha Heights.

Shyam stroked his daughter's hair as she slept in his arms with a smile on his face but  it dropped when he realized tomorrow was the day the court will decide whether he goes to jail or not.

Because of the long distance between his house and the apartment, Soha let him have her spare room.

He bath and dressed Pihu taking her to school and back and making sure her assignments and projects were done on time and tucking her to bed.

For him he was ready to accept his punishment but he was afraid Pihu might think he abandoned her if he went to prison.

He stood up with Pihu and was about to walk to her bedroom when the door opened and in entered Soha looking exhausted.

"I will put her to bed. "

Soha nodded and left to her room to freshen up and change.

She came back to the hall ajoined to the Kitchen to find Shyam placing a silver platter filled with chicken curry and garlic naan bread which was her favorite.

Soha stared at Shyam surprised as she sat down.

"Today might be my final day with you and Pihu so I made her a favorite chicken biryani and this for you...... It's just the way you like it. "

Soha smiled and nodded and digged into the food and she moaned at how delicious it was and Shyam smiled seeing this enjoying it.

He signalled Shyam to sit and ordered him to eat with her and he did without complain.

The good nostalgia of their happy past hit them because they always use to eat together in the past with Shyam always being the cook and making her feel like a queen.

After an hour and half, Shyam had cleaned the kitchen and entered the Hall and sat with Soha.

"Have you decided what we are going to tell Pihu if you end up in jail. ? " Soha asked and Shyam sighed defeated and nodded.

"Tomorrow I will tell her the truth. " A slap landed on Shyam's cheek and he looked up taken aback by the slap Soha has rewarded him with.

"Are you crazy?....... Pihu may be an understanding child but that doesn't mean you should emotionally traumatize her because of your mess...... You are to be blamed for all of this mess and I won't let you make our daughter pay for it because I have already paid for your greed and selfishness. " Soha angrily gritted the words through her teeth not wanting to scream and wake Pihu up.

"I am sorry...... To tell you the truth I haven't really thought about what I will tell her...... The past three weeks has been so fun and filled with happy moments that I didn't probably think of a good excuse to tell her..... It was after Pihu slept that I realised what tomorrow was. "

Soha sighed and sat back down as Shyam bowed his head ashamed.

He knew it won't be easy for all of them especially Pihu and he was beginning to regret revealing himself to her.

"I have a solution to this. " Shyam's head snapped back at her. "We will tell her you have been sick and going away for treatment out of the country...... I know if you are sentenced, you will be sent to Tihar Jail......... I have a friend over there who will help you speak to Pihu at least four times a week........ This will help curb any suspicions she might have...... We will see what we can do after....... It's getting late....... We all better rest now......we have a long day tomorrow."

Soha stood up and walked away as Shyam smiled and nodded happily knowing he will get to at least speak to his princess but a part of him ached to be with baby Kiara.

He pulled out his phone and scrolled through the gallery and found the pictures Mami had sent him and he was happy seeing his baby Kiara was healthy and a happy baby.

"Mami said you will be discharged tomorrow but unfortunately I will be in jail...... But I promise when I come out and made a good life for myself, I will take you with me just like the Raizadas promised me....... I will give you and Pihu the best in life. "

He kissed the picture with happy tears in his eyes and edited it placing Pihu's picture beside each other and they both looked like twins.

Outskirts of Delhi.

A woman sipped on wine whilst holding the picture of Arnav staring at it as her eyes oozed with lust.

"You will soon be mine Arnav Singh Raizada........ Sheetal Kapoor never loses and as for that middle class bitch, I will get rid of you soon. " She murmured to herself and the door bell rang making her frown.

She stood up begrudgingly and went to open the door about you yell at the person but smiled and moved away as the person entered scanning the room.

"Take a seat. "

The woman sat down nervously fidgeting with the handkerchief she was holding.

Sheetal sat down and poured some wine offering it to the woman but she declined and sat down.

"Katha, I heard you work at the Raizada mansion and I want you to confirm some things for me....... I will pay you handsomely and I know you can't resist because your sister is getting married...... Your father also needs money to pay his medicines, your other younger siblings are very intelligent and need to skip a class which needs money and being the oldest amongst them,the financial responsibility fall on you and I know the Raizadas pay you enough bit you have to many responsibilities and the money is not enough but I can ease that burden for you......... I can offer you all that and more if you confirm somethings for me. " Sheetal said with a sly smile on her face as she pushed a brown envelope towards her

The woman opened it and was shocked seeing so much money and she nodded greedily.

Sheetal opened the book in front of her and started speaking.

"What is the relationship between Khushi and ASR?

" I heard she is the boss's girlfriend and the family are planning their engagement in a month or two. " Katha replied with a sheepish grin.

"And Mrs jha...... According to my reports she is not at RM...... So where is she and is the family her puppet like I was told? "

"Of course Anjali ma'am is the beloved daughter and ultimate queen of the Raizada family and will always be but after she had her daughter, she was depressed because of her postpartum depression and she was allowed to travel until the baby comes back home which is tomorrow...... She is so powerful that Arnav sir always obeys her and to tell you the truth, she doesn't like Khushi ma'am and is only tolerating her for Arnav sir....... I once saw how she stared at Khushi disgusted when everyone was not looking. "

Sheetal nodded at the information with a huge grin on her face.

"I think she is waiting for the opportunity to seperate them and I am sure when she comes back she will do it because her husband lusted after Khushi ma'am so much that he tried to kill Shashiji and was kicked out and arrested by the police........ Mami and Nani calls her a gold digger behind her back but pretends to like her in front of Arnav sir so that they don't upset him but just like Anjali ma'am, they are also waiting for an opportunity to kick her out together with her sister."

Sheetal can finally confirm that the information she got from the private detective was true and dismissed Katha and she burst out laughing immediately Katha left.

"My work is more easier that I thought it would be...... Wait and watch how I poison Nani and Mami against you and when Anjali comes back she will join me in my hate campaign against you Khushi Kumari Gupta....... You will be out of Arnav's life and I will be Mrs Raizada and rule the Raizada mansion. " Sheetal laughed holding her belly.

"Mum? " A groggy voice called out to sheetal and she turned to find her son rubbing his eyes.

She rushed to him and scooped him up as he placed his head on her shoulder.

"Are we going to see dad and his family tomorrow? " He asked yearning and Sheetal patted his back and nodded.

"Yes we are Aarav but you have to do as we planned...... That witch I told you about is trying to steal him away from us but she won't succeed if we go according to the plan. "

"I will do as you say mummy. "

Sheetal smiled after hearing him agree and she heard snoring from him and she moved to his room to put him in bed.

Midnight.

Khushi sneaked out of her bedroom to the garden and whistled.

Katha come out from behind the bushed and smiled at Khushi.

"All is done Khushi ma'am..... She fell for the trap. " Katha squealed and Khushi shh her and she whispered an apology.

"You did good Katha...... I know that witch would do something to get in this house and we will teach her a lesson she would never forget. " Khushi said and Katha nodded but frown.

"Khushiji what do I do with the money? " Katha asked innocently and Khushi checked at her.

"Keep it....... Buy your sisters new school supplies and use some for your sister's wedding. "

"But what about the money you and Arnav sir gave me? "

"Save it because with the way the economy is going, it will come in handy some day. " Khushi said and Katha nodded and thanked Khushi as she run to the servants quarters.

She walked back into the mansion and into the kitchen and pulled out a water pitcher and poured herself some water drinking it as she remembered what had happened a month and half ago.

Flashback.

Khushi was in her office signing some papers when her  phone rang and she received with shock and surprise.

She called the receptionist and ordered her on a specific instruction.

A few seconds later, Payal walked in and stared at her sister confused.

"Khushi is there any problem...... Why did you ask for me? . " Payal asked concerned as she sat down.

"I just received a call from Preeto...... She just started work again but was transfered to Delhi and she said she has an important information for us and she is about to enter the premises and wanted the two of us together when she arrives...... I have called the receptionist to let her in immediately she arrives. " Khushi replied.

Immediately she was done, the receptionist entered with Preeto behind her and she closed the door leaving the trio together.

Payal and Khushi hugged their old friend and she sat down looking serious.

"I have a really important information for you two....... As you two know my job had transfered me here for a higher position and someone came in for me to do a background check on you and the Raizada family but especially on you Khushi. "

They were both taken aback by this and wondered who it was.

"I found the woman suspicious and have a background check on her........ Her name is Sheetal Kapoor and was the ex girlfriend of Arnav when he was in Harvard. " Preeto revealed and Khushi didn't looked that surprised by the name. "You know her? " Khushi nodded and stood up form her chair.

"Arnav and I share everything.... She was his girlfriend back in Harvard but according to Arnav she was too clingy and always demanding sex from him which he was refused to give her because he wanted it to be with someone special....... He broke up with her because of that. " Khushi revealed and an epiphany hit Preeto.

"Oh my God.... That's why she did what she did. " Preeto exclaimed as Payal and Khushi stared at her confused which she saw. "My background check on her revealed she has been in the country for about a year now and six months ago, she adopted a boy and started training him in basketball ball and etiquette lessons...... I am sure she is trying to pass off the boy as your husband's son. "

Payal and Preeto flinched back in their chairs because of the sound that generated when Khushi slammed her fists into her desk.

"That witch wants to snatch my Arnav away from me then she is in for big surprise. " Khushi exclaimed fuming and Payal and Pretty were stunned seeing this side of Khushi. "Preeto I want you to do the work but then you would do as I say........ Give her all the wrong information about us and when you are done call me...... You don't have to worry about any repercussions because we have your back. "

Preeto nodded and left the girls back to her agency.

"Khushi what are you planning? " Payal asked and Khushi smirked staring at her sister.

"You will soon see....... This time the roles will be reversed...... I will be the one doing the protecting and that witch will regret ever crossing us. "

Payal smiled looking so proud at her sister.

Three weeks after the incident, she was cornered by Katha one of the helps of the mansion who revealed a woman approached her wanting information about them and Khushi knew it was Sheetal.

She called Preeto who gave her all the fake details she have to Sheetal and Khushi made Katha agree to meet Sheetal and then planned to confirm all the lies.

Flashback ends.

"If you think you can snatch my happiness from me then you are in for a big surprise...... The same people you hired to stalk me are now stalking you for me....... You think you are playing your game but unfortunately for you, you are now playing my game. " Khushi thought with a smirk on her lips as she entered the bedroom to find Arnav sleeping peacefully on the bed with a pout and her pillow tightly in his arms making Khushi giggle.

She tried to pull the pillow but Arnav tightened his grip on it but after a few pull, she freed her pillow from his grip leaving him with a frown.

Arnav tapped on Khushi's side of the bed and frown more when he realised her side was empty.

A giggling Khushi finally held his hand and laid on the bed as Arnav subconsciously pulled her into his arms inhaling her sweet scent and a huge grin appeared on his face.

Khushi shook her head and closed her eyes finally accepting sleep in the arms of her love.
