The whole Raizada, Gupta and Jha family stood in the huge hall of RM with some glaring at the man who was recovering from the brutal attack on him.

Shyam opened his eyes and found himself on the couch with Arnav glaring at him with his arms folded as if he was about to murder him and he gulped down he lump in his throat.

He looked around and found Payal staring at him in disgust whilst holding Akash who looked ready to to bounce on him back and he was mirroring Arnav's expression.

Nani and Mami threw a disgusted glare at him while they consoled a crying Anjali.

He turned and found Khushi standing with Shashi and Kamala and his eyes teared up seeing her looking shaken up she has became.

He was filled with regret and guilt for making her suffer again.

He didn't want this to be the outcome of his confession but if this was God's  way of being punished for his crimes then he accepts it wholeheartedly with challenge.

A loud slap resounded in the hallway of the mansion and Shyam held his abused cheek as he stared into the eyes of Nani who was almost on the verge of crying.

"What didn't we give you that you have to betray us like this?....... You decieved this family and the Guptas and I don't blame them for hiding the truth because we have all been conditioned to see the good in you and would have probably accused them in our defense of you. " Nani cried out and Shyam realised he has been exposed and he sighed ready to accept his punishment.

"Correction Dadi. " Akash exclaimed walking up to Nani as all eyes turned to him. "You and Maa were conditioned to see the only the delusional truth and good in him which you two have carved into your brains but we have always been suspicious of him from the being but each time we tried to have a background check on him, you supported Anjali's stands of not wanting one, supported her in her hunger strikes and silent treatments against us........ We were concerned about her wellbeing and yet we were made the villains of her fairytale romance....... Stop dragging us into your delusional perception of Shyam Manohar Jha. "

Nani and Mami felt ashamed and looked away unable to look him in the eyes as the remembered how they had chastised both him and Arnav for wanting a background check on Shyam and forced them to accept Anjali living in RM and not her husband's house.

"Nani I want a divorce now...... I can't stay with such a disgusting man and I don't want my baby to be anywhere near him....... I want him out and no one must speak to him ever again." Anjali cried out and Nani and Mami consoled her and she rejoiced seeing Nani and Mami consoling her.

"You are so stupid Shyam...... Your list for Khushi has now exposed you but see the outcome, Nani and Mami are back to me and very soon chote and Akash will join them and I will soon use this thing in my stomach to get rid of the Gupta sisters for good...,... You downfall is now my up raising. " Anjali thought rejoicing internally while crying in Mami's arms and enjoying Nani caressing her hair.

Shyam stared at Anjali with pity which confused most of them who understood his expression.

"Enjoy your victory now but very soon, you will be joining me and I will bring you down....... I may go to jail  it you will also join me soon and I will do anything to get you away from my baby..... You wait and watch. " Shyam thought staring at Anjali.

"Bhai let's call the police and hand him over to them. " Akash said glaring at Shyam who smiled and nodded his head which confused the men more because they didn't expect such a reaction from him.

The door bell rang and Shyam smiled confusing everyone and a few seconds later, HP arrived with the police behind him.

"Commissioner Jyoti, what are you doing here? " Arnav asked confused and surprised by his presence in the mansion.

"Sorry to bother you but your brother in law called for us to arrest him. " His reply shocked everyone as all eyes turned on him.

Shyam smiled and limped up to the commissioner and stretched out his hands to him and the commissioner signalled his officers to cuff him.

"What the hell is going on? " Arnav yelled as everyone stood curiously and impatiently waiting for answers.

"Mr Shyam Manohar Jha called the police station and confessed that he had helped your fiancee over a year ago and fell in love with her and stalked her in Lucknow and later to Delhi where he was a paying guest at her house and coerced and manipulated her family to get them married but she wasn't interested and rejected him but he didn't stop..... Unfortunately for him, Mr Gupta here discovered he was married and became he was afraid to be exposed, he tried to explain himself but Mr Gupta wasn't having it. " Everyone turned to Shashi who was now crying staring at him in shock. "The shock triggered his stroke and unfortunately for Mr Jha, the family saved him on time but at the hospital, he cut the oxygen supply of Mr Gupta for a few seconds which caused his stroke and he took advantage of this to manipulate the family to get him married to him but I guess his plan failed...... He confessed and wants us to arrest him for attempted murder and that's why we are here. "

Everyone was turned hearing  what Shyam had done and how he had turned himself in.

"Khushiji,I wasn't trying to hurt you...... I just wanted to confess my crime and apologize before I leave prison where I belong. " Shyam said softly and everyone was stunned hearing him. "Am sorry Khushiji...... Mr Gupta I am also sorry......  I let my lust and ego hurt you and your family and I know no amount of sorry will make up for what I did but going to jail might."

Everyone was stunned by the man in front of them because for the first time, they saw a different man than the Shyam they all knew.

He walked up to Khushi and Arnav panicked and rushed towards her and stood in front of Shyam serving as a shield between them and Shyam smiled.

"I am not going to hurt her but I am happy to see you jumping to her defense and please always do that and never stop...... I ask you two for a favor and the same goes to Akash and Payal as well...... Please take good care of my child for me.... If there are people who would raise my child into a good and better human being then it's the four of you...... I know you will all spoil him or her but also teach her to be compassionate like Khushi, silently deadly like Akash and Payal and tough and no nonsense like Arnav....... I am ready to even sign off guardianship and custody to you at any time...... Goodbye and please never let him or her know I existed...... I don't want him or her to be stigmatized for her having parents who are criminals. "

Nani and Mami were stunned by his words but Arnav and the other understood the hidden meaning of his words but they were equally stunned and felt his sincerity and Khushi felt horrible for what she did but nodded.

Anjali was fuming hearing him degrade her and seeing the sympathy on their faces.

Shyam told the commissioner he was ready and they excused themselves and was walking out when Shyam whispered something to the commissioner and he nodded as they all moved out of the mansion.

"Hello hi bye bye are we sure that man is Shyam? " Mami exclaimed in shock.

"I think he is and I am sure him going to the appointment with Anjali ma'am changed him...... And I believe he is being sincere. " Kamala said and Mami and Nani nodded in agreement which pissed offAnjali who glared at Kamala and this didn't go unnoticed by Arnav and Khushi who stared at each other and back to her.

Nani and Mami helped Anjali to her room leaving the others behind and KhushiI turned to her father and hugged him crying as Payal joined in.

At Lavanya's apartment, Nk stared at Lavanya and her nanny breaking the news of her parents arrest and this concerned him because he knew if she went back to her parents, all her therapy and the progress she had made will go to waste.

Through the therapy and what her nanny revealed to him, he discovered Lavanya was abused emotionally and verbally by her parents and starved if she ever disobeyed them and this started since she would sit.

She was also groomed on how to attract rich men at a very young age and she wanting the love and validation form her parents did everything they wanted including giving the ninety percent of her salary since she started working.

He felt guilty for thinking the worst of Lavanya and for the past week since they have been living together, he saw a different side of Lavanya.

The loving and caring side and her obsession with cartoons which he also loved but was embarrassed to let others know but Lavanya's love for it made him comfortable enough to watch them and she also joined him sometimes.

Even though they weren't friends, they have become accepting of each other.

"Nanny I don't care anymore...... I am done with them and the only and last thing I would do for them is bail them out...... I know they are pressuring you to met me ap that I can help the speak to ASR but I won't do it...... And please don't give them my address because I don't want anymore drama from them. "

Her nanny sighed understanding her and kissed her goodbye and waved at Nk as she left the apartment.

Nk walked up to her and sat down and Lavanya gave him a tight lipped smile.

"Lavanya I think you should meet your parents. " Nk suggested and Lavanya frown and stood up clearly angry at his suggestion.

"Are you mad?....... You want me to met the abusive people who traumatized me and never care about me....... I can't believe you would say something like this especially seeing how their abuse have made me insecure and scarred me probably for life........ I am depressed, have ptsd and eating disorders because of them and you want me to speak to them again knowing they can hurt me again....... Do you hate me that much to see me in pain again? " Lavanya cried out feeling hurt that Nk said that.

She turned to walk away when Nk held her hand and pulled her into his broad, hard and muscular chest staring straight into her brown eyes which was shimmering with tears and a look of hurt and disappointed was seen in them by Nk.

"I don't hate you Lavanya....... I use to but not anymore and I am not asking you to met your parents because I want to hurt you, it because you have to face them one way or the other and it's better now...... We will speak to you therapist first and of she gives a go ahead be rest assured I will be with you every step of the way....... You can always count on me. "

Lavanya burst into tears and hugged Nk who reciprocated stroke her back to calm her down.

"I don't deserve all of you...... From you to ASR to Khushi, I don't deserve all this care and kindness I am getting especially after everything I have done..... Why are you all so kind to me? " Lavanya cried out and Nk chuckled still hugging her and replied.

"Because everyone deserves a second chance especially people like you. "

Lavanya tightened the hug listening to his heart beat which was so soothing to her and it calmed her down and Nk didn't mind as long as it calms her down.

Khushi and Arnav were in each other's arms naked in his bed.

Khushi's head was on chest as she hand drew circle on his abs.

"Ladoo are you sure about what you are planning for Anjali? " Khushi asked staring up at Arnav and he nodded.

"I know there is more things we don't know about her and I will find it out soon....... Shyam is not a fool to say what he said because he was hinting at something Anjali had done that was so illegal that she would end up in jail just like him...... I want to know what it is and I won't spare her if it's what I suspected. " Arnav gritted his teeth angrily and Khushi knew it was about his suspicion of her being the boss of Pam and Sim who had been arrested but refused to speak.

Arnav had suspected Anjali but there was no evidence to prove she was the mastermind.

She saw him getting lost in thoughts and she didn't like it.

She stood up and saddled him and Arnav smirked as she peppered his face with kissed and within a few minutes, the room was filled with moans, groans and screams of pleasure.

Back in Anjali's room, she was smiling and dancing around her room happily at her success of trapping Nani and Mami who had never left her side since Shyam was arrested.

"I am back. " She squealed and started waltzing around the room humming music to herself as she danced.

Her phone rang breaking her reverie and she groan and picked it up to find an unknown number on it and frown but picked it up.

"Hello who is this? " She asked angrily.

"Have you forgotten my voice so soon Mrs Jha? "

Anjali dropped her phone in shock as the person on the line could me heard laughing hysterically as Anjali panicked.
