Being a nurse was a hard job, but you loved it even if you had difficult patients you just wanted to help them to the best of your ability. "Yeh then the three of us can celebrate like normal," there was also a male's voice.

"I guess," you knew that was Tamaki's voice, but it sounded a little deflated.

"Ohh Tamtam what's wrong you sound a little gloomy," the woman cooed, but you'd picked up on it as well.

"Well ermmm. I was hoping to ermm ask...N..." before he could finish, he was startled as was yourself.

"Nurse (l/n), have you finished your rounds," the matron of the ward bellowed behind you, making you jump out of your skin.

"Oh, sorry Matron, I'm just about to check on Mr Amajiki," trying to cover the matron was no fool.

"Really? You've been stood there for a while just staring at the door. Did you forget how to knock," it was extremely embarrassing, it was very unlike you to space out. Well, it used to be, but this wasn't the first time you'd been told off for hanging around the heroes' room. "Oh well, you see. I heard he had visitors, so erm I was just deciding to possibly come back later ya know," smiling widely the woman wasn't convinced.

"Hmm well. You're wanted elsewhere soon so finish your round, and if I catch you slacking off again then, you'll be suspended for two weeks." it seemed really harsh, but the matron hadn't really warmed to you for some reason.

It was most likely after a patient had declared that the matron was a battle-axe, and you should replace her. Not your fault and you calmed the patient down, but it was apparently your fault.

"Ok, Matron," bowing apologetically, the woman began to walk away and as soon as she was far enough you stuck your tongue out mockingly. "So Mirio, Nejire. Is Mr Amajiki always this quiet..." glancing at Tamaki he glanced up intrigued that you were asking. Yet before anyone could answer, a small child ran into the room, unfortunately, you knew who he had run from.

"Nurse (l/n), she is going to take all my blood," the small boy cried holding to your leg as you giggled. The trio unsure what the guy was talking about, but of course, the Matron of the ward wasn't very kid-friendly like you were.

"Rupert, you know she is trying to help." smiling he shook his head.

"No... I'm telling you. She is a villain and you're the hero...you gotta save me," it made you chuckle as you'd played hero and villains with him when he'd first come in to cheer his spirits you'd not called her the villain. That was all Rupert's imagination.

"Sorry, Mr Amajiki. Looking behind you, the guy was watching you more intensely than he ever had before, a large blush forming on your face before you got on your knee to Rupert's level. "You shouldn't that matron isn't being fair," hearing a female pouty voice, the blue-haired woman looked extremely annoyed but still adorable.

"It's ok. Rupert is completely fine. If he wasn't, I'd have gotten an update from my little friends," you smile brightly, but they can tell you are actually on the verge of tears. You loved your job, you loved the long-stay patients, you didn't mind the matron on good days. Just recently though, she seemed more uptight than ever.

"There is one thing. You can get all healed up so that you're back on the streets saving people. Also, please don't get hurt again," smiling, you carefully removed the bandage from his arm checking the wound was fine and didn't need to be rebandaged.

With that, you went back to the ward to collect your belongs, as Tamaki was just walking down the hall with his friends. Clearly, he had been discharged, that's when Rupert rushed past the trio to see if you were ok.

When Christmas day arrived, you packed everything that Nejire had stated. Apparently, Christmas Pj's were essential although that was all you knew.

One thing still played on your mind though the fact that you wouldn't get to see Rupert, but mostly that he wouldn't have a nice Christmas in the hospital. If you weren't suspended, then you would have popped by in the morning to at least say Merry Christmas.

When Christmas morning came, you woke up in the lonely flat in the morning and opened your presents from your family before having a nice small breakfast. From what Nejire had said there would be plenty of food, so you didn't want to be rude and not finish your plate.

As you got ready, you couldn't help but make sure that your hair and makeup were perfect for your hosts. Mostly for Tamaki, in which you were still in denial about your feelings towards him.

Checking the address one more time as the house was huge, but it didn't surprise you since you were having Christmas day with Pro Heroes.
