"Kori!?" I exclaimed, pushing Dick and Kaldur away once she emerged from the Zeta Tube and flew up to her. "Koriand'r!"

"My friend, it has been so long!" Kori smiled and hugged me tight. "I must admit... when your guardian told me you were at a cave, I did not expect it to be so spectacular."

"Come meet my friends, Kori! This is Robin, Wally, Kaldur, Superboy, Artemis and M'gann... Guys, this is Princess Koriand'r, my oldest friend."

"You're friends with a Princess!?" Wally exclaimed and I nodded. "Tamaran's a far place from what Zar has told us. What brings you here?"

"I'm afraid this isn't a normal visit, Zar." Hal called out and I raised an eyebrow. "I was sent to escort Princess Koriand'r back to Tamaran with John. The war's finally over."

"Yes, and I'm afraid there is much we need to talk about, Zaria." Kori frowned. "It is my sister... she has taken over Tamaran and has banished me."

"Banished!? But your parents-"

"Are dead. I'm afraid the war made our people suffer many losses."

"And my parents?"

"Kilowog said they're still alive and well." Hal assured and I nodded. "But I'm afraid Komand'r taking over isn't the worst thing."

"Hal, you're starting to scare me a bit." I admitted and felt Dick discreetly reach out to hold my hand.

"Tamaran's on the verge of a civil war, Zar. There's people who think Komand'r isn't fit for the throne while others are still bound by the old ways."

"Komand'r's not fit to rule a dog into rolling over, Hal. She has no regard for life and only seeks power and vengeance."

"Red, they've got every available Lantern stationed around Tamaran. You need to go as well and settle this."

"Hal, I can't go back. I've been banished years ago. I'm a disgrace to my race!"

"Zar, you're not." Dick assured, giving my hand a squeeze.

"But she is." Kori said and he tensed. "She has brought dishonor to our people by being a Red Lantern. The punishment was death, but I suppose Green Lantern Hal Jordan negotiated for banishment."

"We left before they could make a decision. Last we heard was that I was never to show my face in Tamaran again if I do not wish to meet death." I sighed. "Which is why I can't go back."

"And I don't know about you guys, but we literally need her! The three missions she was gone saving the universe or whatever, we all nearly died!" Wally called out and I fought a smile. "We need her and she's like our best friend!"

"Zaria, it is your people." Kori tried to reason.

"Komand'r will try to kill me the moment I'm in orbit. She's always hated me." I shrugged and took a step back, still holding onto Dick's hand. "And if I go back and face her, none of you will like what will happen to me."

"You have control." Hal pointed out.

"I have a basic level of restraint, not control. Or do I need to remind you of what happened with Krona."

"Zaria, you are a keeper of peace."

"No, you are. I'm an enabler of chaos and destruction."

"Red-"

"I need a moment alone before I lose the little restraint I have." I said and walked away, holding my hands close to my chest when I noticed black veins beginning to form.

"Zar, wait!" Dick yelled, running after me. "Zaria Jordan!"

"Robin, I can't go!"

"You can and you will." He said, pulling me back and held my hand again. "Especially when I'm going with you."

"Dick, I can't ask you that."

"Then it's a good thing you're not asking and my mind's made up." He smirked just as we were joined by the rest of the Team.

"We're going too." Superboy decided and I widened my eyes.

"Zaria, you're homesick. Maybe this is the time to make amends with your people and stay home." M'gann continued.

"Woah, woah, woah. We didn't say anything about her going back." Dick protested. "She's Hal's protégé!"

"I've taught her all I know." Hal butted, making Dick immediately let go of my hand.

"You all are talking as if I'm going to die or move away." I rolled my eyes.

"Think about it, little Red. If you had the chance, would you actually consider it?"

"I... I do not know."

"Okay, so with Bioship's speed it will take us approximately two months to reach Tamaran and by then it'll be too late. Hal and I will use our Rings to speed up the trip. We should arrive in a day or so."

"I suggest you take a dramamine or something because the whiplash from light speed isn't fun. I passed out my first time." Hal smirked as M'gann switched the controls over to him. "But we're gonna make the ride as smooth as possible."

"Once we're there, we might be met for a hostile environment. Let me, Hal and Kori handle everything and not engage under any circumstances." I continued and stood up. "Kori, do you mind helping me change into my armor? I need help with the plates."

"Of course!" She smiled and we both walked to the back of Bioship. "Your friends are quite nice, Zaria. Robin cares deeply for you, does he not?"

"He didn't hesitate to come with us to Tamaran... he's a good friend."

"But?"

"His mentor is the problem. I believe he does not like me very much."

"Because you are different than him?"

"Because of this." I held out my left hand to show the Ring and she frowned. "Kori, a lot has happened since we last met. I have a life here on Earth and Hal has become like a father to me. I owe him my life."

"So you will not be staying in Tamaran given the chance?"

"I... I don't know what I want yet. I miss home, but it hasn't felt like home in years."

"And Earth?"

"I don't know yet. My friends accept me, but I fear that will change if they see what I'm truly capable of."

"If they do not accept you for what you truly are, then they are not your friends." Kori said, strapping on my plates and smiled. "You look like a true Tamaranean again."

"We should head back before Hal worries." I smiled slightly and dragged her back to the cockpit. "We're in light speed already?"

"Just left the Solar System. We're making great time." Hal nodded and turned to me. "Never thought I'd see you wear that again, little Red."

"Never thought I'd be worthy of it again... I actually missed my old clothes." I shrugged and turned to see Dick staring at me with his mouth open. "Robin, everything okay?"

"Uhh, yeah... you... you look nice, I guess." He stuttered and Kori nudged my side while Wally nudged his with a smirk.

"So, Princess Koriand'r-"

"Please, call me Kori. I believe we are amongst friends now."

"Right... so you must have tons of stories about Zar when you two were growing up." Artemis smiled and Kori nodded frantically.

"Lots! Her and I always used to get into trouble in Okaara when we were being trained. She even challenged the king to a duel and won!"

"Really?" Kaldur asked in shock.

"Zaria was quite skillful with a weapon. She always managed to learn and adapt fairly quick to her surroundings!"

"Yeah, we all kinda proved it at Cadmus when we broke Superboy out." Dick chuckled.

"I believe that's unnecessary praise. We worked together to break him out." I interjected.

"Guys, I suggest you all get some sleep before we reach Tamaran. We still have a long way to go and I'm cranking up the speed." Hal called out and our chairs turned into beds. "You can keep telling stories when you wake up."

"I also suggest you guys eat the snacks you brought. I seriously doubt you'll find our food to be slightly appetizing." I said and Kori laughed. "After trying pizza for the first time, even I wouldn't eat our food again."

"That bad, huh?"

"It breathes and it moves when cooked. You tell me."
