RIVER

Rio had been with River for a week now, she desperately wanted to search for Phoenix to finally be able to finish the job, but River couldn't because she was to anxious to leave Rio alone, Powder had offered to watch Rio for a day so River could do what she needed to do but River always felt bad if she accepted, she was the one who decided to care for Rio, not Powder. It wouldn't be fair to her.

"He's probably hungry right?" River looked at Jinx, Jinxed shrugged her shoulders "is there food here?" she furrowed her brows "we can try and find something i guess..." Jinx trailed off and the two walked through Silco's lair to try and find the kitchen, despite Jinx always being there she managed to get them lost a couple times.

"Here's the kitchen!" Jinx walked in, River looked through the kitchen for something to make "do you even know how to cook?" Jinx asked as she sat down on the bench, "Uh welll, a little bit, but i'm never the one who cooks so" River shrugged her shoulders "who cooked then?" Jinx asked her "Emmy"

Jinx rolled her eyes at the mention of Emmy causing River to snicker "i'll just make a sandwich?" River said as she pulled out bread, suspicious looking cheese and ham.

River made two sandwiches, one for Rio, and another for Powder. She cut the crust of Powder's sandwich and handed it to her "ooo" Jinx happily took it and took a big bite out of it. River looped her finger in Jinx's belt and pushed her towards her, off the counter. She gestured for Jinx to come with.

Jinx followed behind River happily as she took bites of her sandwich until they were back at her hideout, When they walked in they saw Rio walking around curiously, looking at all of Jinx's things, "hey kid" Jinx called out, he snapped his head over to her and instantly put his hands behind his back.

River walked up to him and handed him the sandwich she took with, her happily took it from her "ooo" he reacted the same way Jinx did making River laugh a little.

He skipped over to the chair where Jinx was working and sat on the chair, admiring the bombs. Jinx grabbed River's hand and pulled her down onto the lounge, she shifted her body closer to River and hugged her arm with her head on her shoulder.

"Are you going back home?" Jinx asked quietly, River sighed and interlinked their fingers, her thumb caressing the back of Jinx's hand gently. "Well, i think i'm just going to find my own apartment. I don't want to talk to either Emmy or Caspian" River shook her head and squeezed Jinx's hand

"What happened" "Well it was me and Emmy that got into a fight, not me and Caspian. But i know he was involved as well" River rolled her eyes, thinking back to the argument.

"What was the fight about?" Jinx lifted her head up "you" River told her honestly, Jinx raised her eyebrows in slight surprise "what? me?" "yeah... they both knew you were alive. They shouldn't have hid that from me" River said to her quietly, "do you have enough money to even find a new apartment?"

"I'll be ok" River smiled down at her softly, Jinx looked up at her suspiciously, instead deciding to not talk further about it.

Rio walked up to them and stood there awkwardly, Jinx stared at him with a blank expression and River patted the empty spot next to her, Rio quickly sat down, they all sat silently on the couch next to each other, Rio leaned his shoulder onto Rivers causing her to tense up and puff her cheeks out, feeling even more awkward.

"Um, how bout you come with me to... do stuff, i guess" River stammered awkwardly, she honestly didn't even know what she was going to do with him, but she would do anything to stop feeling so awkward. She had no ideas how to handle a little kid, how to act around one. Especially since his mom just died.

Rio stood up and stood next to River, shuffling closer to her, River looked at Powder with tensed shoulder while Jinx stifled a laugh at how awkward River was. "You can come with" River made the choice for Jinx, she smirked when she saw Powders eyes widen, knowing that she wasn't much less awkward with Rio as River was.

"Ohh, well" She laughed but was cut off by River grabbing her hand and pulling her up, River interlinked her fingers with Jinx's before gently putting a hand in Rio's back to lead him out.

The three walked through the streets of the undercity, River walked past a fruit cart and grabbed a piece of fruit without the owner noticing, she offered the apple to Rio who happily took it. Rio took a bite of it but stopped in his tracks with his mouth wrapped around the apple still.

He had been holding onto the back of River's shirt the whole time so when he stopped River could feel the pull of her shirt. She looked back at Him and stopped, her eyebrows scrunched together in confusion to see him looking at wide eyes with his teeth, River couldn't help but laugh "you good?" she squinted her eyes.

Rio finally let go off the apple and saw his front tooth had gotten stuck in the apple, he gasped dramatically "no!" he exclaimed and showed River and Jinx the apple with his draw dropped, Jinx started laughing along with River "what?" "i liked that tooth!" he told her, River "it's gonna grow back?" River chuckled, Rio shut his mouth "oh..." he realised.

"Have you not lost teeth before?" River asked him "well i have, but... my mom used to tell me that if my front teeth fell out, all of my teeth would fall out" and Rio explained, River nodded her head softly, Rio never talked about his mom, which of course River didn't expect him to at all. She was just surprised that he wasn't crying every second and ran away.

River was just surprised that he was talking about her so casually "huh..." River trailed off, "don't worry Rio your teeth won't fall out." River reassured him. Rio exhaled in relief and started to walk in front of both River and Powder.

"So what are we doing?" Jinx asked, they'd been wondering around aimlessly for 20 minutes "uhh, i don't know" River admitted. Jinx snickered at her "i have an idea!" Jinx tapped Rivers shoulder repeatedly "we're smoke bombing everyone" River interrupted, Jinx's smile dropped and she crossed her arms with a pouty look on her face.

"Ok never mind let's do it" River changed her mind quickly, Jinx quickly smiled and jumped on River and kissed her on the cheek before jumping off her and skipping over to Rio, she knelt down to his height and whispered in his ear, obviously telling him what they were going to do.

River didn't move for a seconded, slightly stunned from Powder kissing her on the cheek. Only Powder could stun her from something so simple and quick.

River started walking to them, she smiled and shook her head. "Do you need to get some-" River started but Jinx held her pointer finger up, Jinx started pulling out multiple smoke bombs "where were you keeping them?" River asked in confusion, Jinx smirked and shrugged her shoulder before walking away next to Rio, handing him a smoke bomb.

Jinx turned back around to River and walked over to her "which colour, pink, blue, green or yellow" Jinx offered to River "hmm, blue" River said, Jinx gave her the smoke bomb before grabbing her hand and dragging her over to Rio.

"how are we gonna do it" Rio asked River and Jinx curiously, Jinx looked at River to make up a plan, River's eyes darted between both Jinx and Rio who were staring at her silently "i guess just pull the pin and throw it at random people?" River replied slowly, both Jinx and Rio instantly smiled "great plan, Star!" Jinx exclaimed.

River's eyes widened at the old nickname but nonetheless brought a smile to her face, "let's go!" Rio tapped River and Jinx's arms repeatedly.

"Captains orders" Jinx joked and followed behind Rio who was excitedly looking for his first victim, they all walked through a street where most of the stalls were and searched for someone who they thought deserved it the most. They'd all decided that they would all settle on someone first and then do it at the same time so they would run away at the same time.

"Ooo, i know who i'm doing" River grinned mischievously "who?" Jinx asked, River pointed to a girl "why her?" she scrunched up her face "that was the same girl i fought when i was like twelve, she had pushed you over for no reason at all after we were walking here" River explained to Powder.

"Oh my gosh! i remember that" her face lit up as she thought back on the memory. Once they'd all settled on someone they all exchanged glances before pulling the pins out of the smoke bombs and throwing it at them.

River had purposely directly pegged it at the woman's head making her fall back and groan before smoke blew up in her face. Jinx laughed as she threw her's at a guy's lower area, he immediately hunched over in pain and fell to the ground grunting, getting added surprise by getting covered in pink smoke.

Rio settled on a less violent choice from what both River and jinx did, instead opting to just toss the smoke bomb into the stall of a man who had yelled at him once.

They all stayed there for a moment to watch the full reaction's of them and anticipated the reaction once they saw who did it to them. They all finally got up to see who had done it, once they saw the three standing there staring they instantly were clouded with anger.

Jinx wiggled her fingers in a wave with a smirk, River staring at the woman with a smirk and narrowed eyes while throwing another smoke bomb up and down, catching it each time.

"Get them!" the person Jinx chose screamed in anger. Rio's eyes widened and they all instantly started running. They turned into an alleyway, River looked back at the three people and pulled the pin of a green smoke bomb and pegged it at the man Rio chose' head, the smoke bomb hit his stomach making him falter in pain.

"Good aim!" Jinx said as she looked back at the man, "learnt from the best." River laughed and looked at jinx. The green smoke stopped them from being able to see, giving River enough time to tell Jinx and River up a ladder, her going last.

River kicked the ladder down so they had no way of getting up, Jinx, River and Rio all looked down at them who were shouting in anger. Jinx pulled the pin of her yellow smoke bomb and threw it at the girls head, once it hit her in the face Jinx chuckled "still a pro" she bragged.

Rio looked at his red smoke bomb nervously, "my aim isn't very good" her said to River nervously, "thats ok, you don't need to hit him, just try your best" River gave him a pat on the back, Rio exhaled and pulled the pun before throwing it down with all his force, Rio watched it go down in slow motion.

The smoke bomb hit the last one in the head, as both River and Jinx had done. Rio gasped in surprise "heyy, good job!" River exclaimed, making sure to match his excitement, River offered a high five which he took "your a natural!" Jinx jumped up for. her spot, she took Rio's hands and made him jump up and down with her.

After they all celebrated for Rio, they didn't know what else to do so they started heading back to Jinx's hideout.

Jinx was walking in front of River and Rio, "do you think they have concussion's!" Rio asked River, River snickered and shrugged "hopefully" River answered "you said that you chose that girl cause she pushed over Powder. Were you guys friends when you were little?" Rio's words came out so fast, River was surprised she understood what he said.

"Yup!" "she's really pretty" Rio commented, "she's very pretty" River agreed completely, Jinx who wasn't walking to far in front was listening to there conversation, once she heard that she instantly smiled "how pretty do you think she is, one to ten" Rio pushed further making River laugh.

"definitely ten" River nodded her head as if she was in thought, Jinx turned around to look at them with a confident smirk but her deep blushing over her face and ears gave her away making River's smile widen, "alright stop talking about me weirdo's" Jinx joke and fell into River's step, she grabbed Rivers hand and swung there's hands back and forth.

Of course Rio noticed this and he instantly thought her of another burning question "are you guys dating? I mean you act like you do. Your always touching and your always looking at each other with lovey eyes-" he was cut of by River's hand covering his mouth. Both River and Powder's eyes widened and had a rosey blush coating their cheeks innocently

"alrighty that's enough questions now!"

I want to give you guys a few cute chapters with these three before it starts to get into some more serious stuff.
But honestly River, Jinx and Rio are so adorable.

Alsoooo, once both this book and Timing are finished i want to write a Vi x fem oc book but I need some recommendations for it. Who should the oc's face claim be! face claims are really important to me! she has to be in the same sort of style as arcane and valorant and have scene packs for my editing acc if my fanfics!
