JINX

"Who were you talking to yesterday" Jinx appeared on Silco's desk. Silco looked at her tiredly "no one important" Silco said crypticly, Jinx scoffed "why would you talk to someone who isn't important." she remarked, Silco sighed in frustration
and rubbed his forehead, he looked at her.

"She goes by deadlock, she's... handling someone for me." Silco informed, Jinx giggled "handling" she mocked his voice before her smile dropped and she looked at her hands on her lap, fiddling with her bracelet. Looking at that bracelet, grounded her in a way. It was comforting... made her feel safe.

"Who is she handling?" Jinx asked in a soft voice, "no one you know" Silco handed Jinx the contraption used for his eye. Jink took it and slid forward on the desk, stretching her legs out so they rested on his lap. She focused and carefully put it to his eye. She watched the needle poke his eye, Silco grunting in pain.

"Maybe you'll meet her" Silco said, Jinx took his hand and held it for a moment "what if I could've saved her?" Jinx asked him quietly, she looked at him with big eyes "what-what if she was still alive, a-and I just left her?" Jinx was looking at Silco like he held all the answers. Silco looked at her thoughtfully.

Many times at Jinx talked to him about River, it was painfully clear how much she missed her. He felt guilty. He made the doctor save River, for Jinx, then he didn't even let her believe she was alive, he let her think that River had died in her arms.

"If she survived what happened, then... she might be alive to this day. But... there's no use staying hung up on her, because she's not with you. And you don't know if she ever will be again." Silco chose his words carefully. Jinx looked up at him with tears in her eyes, she sniffled then left without a word.

Silco thought that he was helping, but it only made everything worse. Sometimes Jinx had found comfort in her hallucinations of River, it made her feel like River truly was with her. But Silco reminded her that River was gone, River was dead, and it was her fault.

Jinx walked through the Lanes with her head down, she didn't bother moving out of the way for people, instead opting to just shove them away from her and ignore there shouts of anger towards her. Jinx finally stopped in an alley way, she climbed up the wall and into the roof.

She hugged her knee's against her chest and looked into a window to the bedroom of an apartment. It was a girl, her hair was long and black with purple throughout it. Jinx couldn't see her face until she turned around, when Jinx finally focused on her face she realised who it was, Emmy...

Jinx smirked when she noticed, she wanted to mess with her, she just didn't know how. Jinx grabbed her gun, she lifted it so it was level with her face, she squinted her left eye and pulled the trigger. Jinx watched the bullet fly through the window, Emmy gasped and jumped back in shock from the bullet.

Jinx giggled at her reaction, she was sat on the edge of the roof with her legs dangling, swinging them back and forth. Emmy walked up to the window and looked through it, she saw Jinx with a mischievous smirk playing on her lips. Emmy's eyes widened and she sped walked away from the window "Caspian!" she shouted, she heard no answer.

She looked around the small apartment and his bedroom but it was empty, Emmy groaned in frustration. She walked back to the window, Jinx was still there, laughing. Jinx waved at Emmy mockingly, Emmy closed her eyes with a sigh, she pushed the window open up and stared at Jinx with a confused expression "what are you doing?" she yelled.

Jinx cocked her head, not hearing what she said. Jinx stared at her for a moment, her cheeks puffing out before she climbed off the roof and climbed so she was sitting on the window sill of the apartment "fancy meeting you here" Jinx giggled "at my apartment?" Emmy stepped back from the window so she wasn't too close to Jinx.

"what are you stalking me or something?" Jinx scoffed and rolled her eyes, she swung her legs around so she could step inside the apartment "please, don't flatter yourself" she snarked, Emmy rolled her eyes "so then why are you here?" she asked again. "Aww Emmy, you're hurting my feelings, you saying that you haven't missed me?" Jinx questioned with a pout but then snickering.

"Not since you shot my mom and tried to kill me" Emmy smiled sarcastically "ahh, right! that... oops" she laughed. "Get out" Emmy pointed to the window where she had came in, "yeah yeah, i will" Jinx narrowed her eyes at Emmy, "you know i never really did like you" Jinx said truthfully, Emmy's face scrunched up in confusion "what?"

"ohh, you know. When we were kids, I didn't even like you then" Jinx shrugged her shoulders, "you were always so chummy with River. God..." Jinx shook her head, Emmy's eyes widened and she laughed "are you still jealous about that?" Emmy asked "I wasn't jealous" Jinx shot back.

Emmy laughed sarcastically, "oh really, well you're hiding it really well" Emmy replied with a monotone, "whatever, i'm leaving" Jinx walked towards the window "finally" Emmy replied "Em?" River opened the door, Emmy's eyes widened and she spun around.

River looked at her in confusion "what's wrong, did something happen?" River asked in concern, Emmy looked back to where Jinx was but she was gone.
"Uhh, yeah! i'm good." Emmy smiled at her, "okk then?" River stared at her "Why are you staring at me Rivera?"

Jinx's eyes widened, Rivera, Rivera, Rivera, she repeated in her mind. Her accent, her voice. No, no, it's not. It's not her. Jinx thought in her head, her eyes widened in panic as her breathing picked up.

Jinx jumped of the window edge and onto the building where she previously was, River noticed the hole in the glass, her eyes trailed to the wall and saw a gunshot "what happened!" River yelled "o-oh um, you know. Some kids were.. playing with guns and accidentally hit the window. I'm fine though! it's all fine" Emmy lied horribly.

"uh huh" River replied and walked up to the window, she saw the back of someone, they were on top of the apartment across from there's, looked like a girl. She had blue braids that were almost touching the floor and were flowing in the wind.

River thought of Powder, it was so similar, that same blue, why did it look so identical...

"Uh, River? where are you going?" Emmy asked when she saw her climbing through the open window. "I don't think you need to do that!" Emmy shouted after River while she watched her scale the buildings, chasing after Jinx.

Jinx hadn't noticed River following her, her mid was to clouded. Clouded with her face, her voice... her.

Jinx stopped running in an alley way, her back was rapidly moving up and down from deep panicked breaths. Jinx was thrown to the ground, catching her off guard. River had knocked her over by jumping up and slamming her knee into Jinx's back. Jinx looked up at River in shock. River didn't take a moment to see her face before she slammed her fist into Jinx's jaw.

River pinned one of Jinx's arms above her head, Jinx punching River in the nose, making blood shoot out. River through another punch to Jinx while Jinx hit her in her stomach, knocking her breath away instantly. Jinx flipped them around, her legs on either side of River with one hand holding down both her wrists. River hit Jinx in the face with her head and pushed her off of her, she punched her in the throat and stared at her.

Her fist up, ready to land another punch. But her fist stopped mid air. She saw her face, covered in blood, but she had those same light freckles, dusting over her nose and cheeks. She had those big blue eyes and that blue hair.

"Powder?"

The MINUTE I realised Isha was going to die, i started bawling. And that's not even an understatement.
Of course Isha had to die, of course she had to die after she was bringing light in Jinx's life, after she was bringing back Powder.
And of courseee, Jayce had to ruin everything, right after Jinx and Vi got Vander back, of course the writers for Arcane had to make me SO attached to Isha, and her and Jinx's relationship, THEN GOKILLHEROFF. FOR FUCKS SAKE DJDHDHHEJSKAIISUDYDGGDKKKKKKMMMMMMSSSSS
