It was a Saturday night and you had stayed up for the majority of the late hours, not being able to fall asleep as you were very interested to know more about this Mysterion person that Karen had mentioned earlier. Though there weren't many articles about him. Just the occasional pictures taken by journalists and news footage.
There was no biography on this hero, but you could've sworn that you have seen him before. There was just something about Mysterion that seemed familiar and somehow familiar to you. It bothered you, though you can't figure out exactly why.
You rolled your eyes at the thought that you were starting to become obsessed with this stupid guy that you barely even know.
After a while of searching the web you realized that it started getting a bit chilly hence your window being opened so when you got up and turned around to go close it, you saw Kenny standing in front of it. You could only stare at him in shock. "Kenny? Wh-" You started to say but he interrupted. "Can I stay with you? My parents are fighting..." Kenny replied, averting his gaze from yours.
"Of course, babe, but how did you get in?" You asked as you closed your window and locked it, your gaze returning to him. "I climbed the tree by your window." He simply answered. You raised a brow at the comment. Of course, he would climb a tree to sneak into your room.
"C'mere baby." You cooed, pulling him into your arms. Your heart fluttered slightly when he wrapped his arms around your torso. "Can we cuddle in bed?" Kenny requested and without thinking, you nodded your head in agreement.
"Okay, come on." You grabbed Kenny's hand and the two of you laid down on your bed. Kenny wrapped his arms around you tightly and nuzzled his face against your neck affectionately.
"Is everything okay, Kenny?" You questioned after he didn't respond for a few minutes. "Everything is fine now that I'm with you." He muttered against your skin. "C'mon Ken, tell me what happened." You urged, gently rubbing his back with your hand. Kenny sighed.
"Dad had a little bit too much to drink." He mumbled. "What?" You asked surprised. "He got really angry and said a lot of nasty things...I don't think mom understood most of those things since she's just as drunk as him." Kenny continued, continuing to hold you close to his chest.
"You poor thing." You whispered, placing a kiss on top of his head. Kenny then tightened his grip around your waist and buried his head deeper into your neck. This action caused your body to react. You felt butterflies taking over your stomach and a warm sensation spreading throughout your body. It was a good feeling.
You weren't used to feeling such things. Especially ones that made you feel safe and secure. You were afraid of what might happen if someone ever hurt you or Kenny.
You didn't want your feelings to affect your relationship because you both loved each other. That's all you wanted, Kenny loved you too much to ever break up with you and he would never intentionally hurt you.
But sometimes, you couldn't help but wonder if this feeling was real. If he loved you and truly cared for you as much as you cared for him. After all, there was nothing else you would rather do in life than be by his side, supporting him and helping him through anything that was happening to him. And you loved him so, so much.
So, this is love? Huh, what a strange new feeling to have. You weren't used to such feelings as love was new to you.
You were so focused on Kenny that you had almost forgotten about Mysterion until you decided to bring it up. "Hey Ken, do you know anything of this Mysterion guy Karen talked about yesterday?" You asked, turning your attention to the boy currently lying on top of you. Unbeknownst to you, this boy was Mysterion but he wanted to keep that a secret. For now, at least.
"Well, uh, he's a friend of mine," Kenny answered, his lie sounding believable. "A friend?" You repeated raising your eyebrows in question. "Yeah, he hangs around here a lot." Kenny shrugged as if it was no big deal. "You kind of look like him Kenny, are you sure you aren't Mysterion yourself?" You pointed out. Kenny chuckled lightly. "I could be, I could be not." He replied nonchalantly.
You shook your head in response, smiling at the boy laying comfortably on top of you. You leaned your forehead onto him, gazing directly into Kenny's bright blue eyes. "Don't worry babe, I won't judge you if you were Mysterion, I trust you with my life after all." You reassured him. "Thank you." Kenny gave a soft smile back, his cheeks slowly becoming redder with every word that came out of his mouth.
You smiled at the sight, admiring the way Kenny's features softened and became less tense. The way Kenny's face lightened up every time he spoke with you. You noticed that you were unconsciously stroking Kenny's cheek with your thumb. "We uh, we should get some sleep," Kenny mumbled as he pulled away, causing you to pout slightly.
"Nah, Nah, sleep. is for little bitches." You joked, earning a laugh from Kenny. The two of you laid down on the bed and snuggled closer to each other. You wrapped your arms around Kenny and rested your head on his shoulder. "Jesus Christ, I'm starting to realize just how clichรฉ our love story is turning out to be." Kenny giggled happily.
"What? Kenny McCormick the biggest whore in school calling our love for one another love clichรฉ?" You gasped dramatically, placing the back of your hand on your forehead. "What are you a theatre kid?" Kenny laughed even more.
"No, but I'm cut out for acting. Romeo, Romeo, where are thou?" You mimicked a voice with your best impression of a girl who was reading Shakespeare, making Kenny burst out into an uncontrollable fit of laughter.
"F-Fuck Y/n! You're gonna end up killing me I swear!" Kenny wheezed out. You smiled triumphantly at him. "Oh my, that'd be a shame wouldn't it pretty boy?" You purred, Intimidating a British accent.
You felt Kenny's body shuddering underneath yours as you placed a hand over his chest. "F-Fuck you Y/n." Kenny huffed out between laughs. His face was red now as he tried to compose himself.
You chuckled to yourself as you gazed up at Kenny, admiring the way he had relaxed completely. He suddenly looked so cute when he was laughing. He was so precious. You were so lucky to have met him. You could've sworn that you knew him before. but you were unable to remember.
You did recall living in South Park during your elementary school years before moving away, maybe that's why you had that feeling you recognized him. You decided to push those thoughts away, you didn't want to this think too deeply about it.
"Fuck me? In your dreams McWhoreDick." You purred once more but this time, without an accent. "I-I didn't mean literally! But that time. will come soon I promise you that." He replied hastily. You stared at Kenny curiously. "The fuck you mean by that? You are very sus." You said as you poked Kenny on his arm with your index finger.
"Can you not with that Among Us reference? It's overrated and honestly, it's getting annoying. I swear that game has ruined the internet." Kenny whined, rolling his eyes at the same time. You couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"Now you just gave me something to annoy you with." You remarked, poking his chest again playfully. Kenny blushed furiously at the contact. You were starting to enjoy poking Kenny. "Please don't." He begged. "Sorry, sorry." You apologized.
"It's fine, stop poking me." Kenny groaned, covering his face with his hands. You stopped poking him, resting your hands on your lap instead. "Goodnight Ken." You said quietly, already closing your eyes and relaxing in Kenny's embrace.
"Goodnight, babe." He mumbled sleepily, wrapping his arms tighter around you as he drifted off to sleep himself. By the time morning came, the moon had started to sink below the horizon while the sun began to rise. And by then, Kenny had left your home and returned to his to avoid getting yelled at by his parents for sneaking out so late at night.

By the time you woke up, you had noticed his absence, which shockingly wasn't that much of a concern to you. But besides all of that, you began to do what you normally do on a Sunday morning which was lay in bed and play on your phone till the clock struck 8 am.
When it finally hit eight o'clock, you heard your door creek open, and there stood your mother who look exhausted. "Good morning, honey." She murmured tiredly. "Morning mom." You responded yawning.
Your mom walked over to you and pressed her lips against your cheek. "How did you sleep, sweetheart?" She questioned. "Well enough to be in a pleasant mood I guess." You answered shrugging Your mother sighed before sitting down on the edge of your bed.
"Sorry, for not coming home late last night, the hospital was busy." She explained. You nodded your head, agreeing with your mom on everything. "I understand, you have work." You added. Your mother nodded in agreement.
"I'm off today, so you don't have to worry about taking care of the house by yourself alright?" She questioned, patting your thigh softly. You nodded your head. "Yep." You assured her. She stood up after giving you one last kiss on your cheek before leaving your room.
"Oh, and one last thing, Aunt Laura invited you over to hang out with your cousin Craig, okay?" You blinked in surprise. "Oh, what about you?" You asked, genuinely curious. "I have to stay home today; I have paperwork to get done." She explained. Damn, this woman needs a raise, not only that but a break too. She works so hard, that you couldn't help but feel bad for your hardworking mother.
"Oh, when does Aunt Laura want me over?" You inquired further. "Um well, she said that she'd pick you up in about half an hour. Is that alright with you?" She asked you. You smiled at her reassuringly. "That sounds perfect!" You assured her.
"Alright then, I'll leave you be to let you get changed." She said, smiling before walking out of your room and shutting the door behind her.
After changing out of your pajamas, you did your morning routines which took almost an hour, and then went downstairs to eat breakfast. You sat down at the table, noticing that your mom had already placed a plate of your favorite breakfast meal down on the table for you.
As soon as you finished your meal you placed your dish in the sink and thanked your mom for the breakfast.
And within the hour, you heard the sound of a car honking outside which you assumed was your aunt. "Oh, that must be her." Your mother stated from beside you as she walked towards the front door.
You wasted no time grabbing your bag, purse, wallet, charger, and phone and kissing your mom on the cheek before stepping outside. "Bye Mom." You called from the front doorway and she returned the farewell. With that, you exited the house and walked over to your aunt's car.
You hopped in, buckling your seatbelt as the engine roared to life. "Hello, Y/n." Laura greeted, her face wearing an amused expression. You smiled widely at her as you waved enthusiastically at her. "Hi, Aunt Laura." You greeted back. "God dammit Craig, greet your cousin, will you?" Laura gritted her teeth together. You turned your head around to look at the back seat, noticing Craig and surprisingly Tweek.
"Hello, Y/n." Craig greeted, no emotion in his voice whatsoever. Just the typical Craig Tucker. "Hey man." You replied casually and you could hear Tweek slightly freaking out for some weird reason. "Tweek, why are you here?" You asked, turning your attention to the anxious blonde. "G-GAH!" Tweek squeaked loudly, startling you.
"He wanted to come along," Craig explained, shoving his hands into his pockets. "Okaaay..." You trailed off, unsure of how else to reply. After a short moment, you both settled into silence, and then Craig spoke up. "So, you're dating Kenny huh?" He asked with a smirk plastered across his face. You rolled your eyes.
"Honestly not surprised, Kenny has been drooling over the thought of you in class and even during lunch." Craig snickered. You felt your cheeks heating up at this, trying to control the butterflies flapping about in your stomach. "Nuh-uh." You said shaking your head. "Uh-huh," Craig repeated with a smug grin. "Whatever makes you happy, dude." He grinned. You couldn't help but flip him off and he returned the favor.
A few minutes later Tweek finally regained his composure and spoke up. "Y'know it's funny, you two are perfect for each other, it's like you and Kenny were made for one another, Y/n," Tweek explained. "Really?" You inquired curiously. "Yeah, it is. Like the best pairing in the world!" He exclaimed happily. You laughed lightly at this.
"Okay I'm sorry I can't ignore this but you two are so cute together." You teased, giggling at the embarrassed blush on both of their faces. Both seemed so awkward and flustered as they avoided eye contact with one another.
"GAH! This is too much pressure!" Tweek whined as he buried his face in his hands. "Calm down, honey," Craig commented, placing a hand on top of his shoulder soothingly and you smiled to yourself.
"Alright guys, we're here," Laura announced as she parked in front of Tucker's household which was in the same neighborhood as Kenny, Kyle, Stan, and Cartman.
You exited the vehicle and turned around to look at the road and to your surprise you noticed Kenny, Kyle, Cartman, and Stan on the other side, hanging out with one another. But you decide to pay more attention to them as you were going to spend the day hanging out with your cousin and his boyfriend.
"Tweek, Y/n, c'mon let's go check up on Stripe," Craig said, beckoning both of you to follow him. You complied instantly and followed after him, Tweek following suit. As soon as you got into Craig's bedroom, Craig went over to his guinea pig and took him out of his cage. The guinea pig looked around lazily, not seeming bothered at all about being taken away from his cage.
"Honey, you seem anxious, do you want to hold Stripe?" Craig asked his boyfriend who was twitching and spazzing out beside him. "Sure." He muttered, taking the guinea pig in his hands.
You couldn't help but think your mind wander to think about Mysterion and why Coon & Friends disbanded. Maybe you could ask then. about it? You were very curious, and if maybe you could bring back your vigilante alter ego maybe you could meet this mystery boy.
Back in the old town that you lived in 3 years ago before moving back to South Park, you were a well-known vigilante that went by the name Paradox which you thought sounded pretty badass.
In reality, though, you just had one costume, it was simple, a simple black long sleeves shirt, a silver mask along with a matching cloak with black linings, a utility belt with a gun holster, and a fanny pack that would hold your bullet cases, a pair of black leggings, some combat boots and a pair of heavy-duty gloves.
But besides all of that, you would help cops catch criminals and all that cool hero stuff. But since you moved to South Park nobody knew of this. Not even Kenny or your cousin Craig.
"Hey, whatever happened to Freedom Pals and Coon & Friends?" You asked, looking at your cousin curiously. "Oh, uhh... they split up and disbanded. They retired because they were getting too old for this shit and wanted to focus on life." Craig answered, shrugging his shoulders, and placing Stripe into the cage once again.
"Oh..." You mumbled in slight disappointment. Suddenly you remembered something important. Well, you knew what you were going to do tonight, you were going to bring Paradox back. "Well, back in my old Town we had this vigilante named Paradox she was hella badass." You grinned, standing up.
"No way., Craig smirked amusedly. "Really?" Tweek piped up excitedly from the corner of the room. "Yeah, she would always save people in need. She saved a lot of people, like I said, she was the best." You continued with pride, recalling all the times you have helped people that needed it the most.
"She's like Mysterion except she had a gun!" You concluded brightly, remembering a few moments where you used your gun to threaten villains. Well, the gun wasn't exactly yours, it was your mother's. It was a simple handgun, but it got the job done. It's not like she used it anyways, you didn't even know why your mother would have such a weapon anyways.
You weren't entirely sure, but it was better to assume the worst rather than assume nothing. "Oh, and get this, she stopped helping people after a while, but I heard that she would move and help people here in South Park." You
added, still grinning brightly as you remembered a particular incident involving you.
The two boys seemed intrigued by this information, so you told them the details of all the things you did as Paradox without revealing your vigilante identity to them. Although as soon as the story got too deep and embarrassing, you decided to switch gears to a less embarrassing topic.
The rest of the day consisted of you hanging out with your cousin and his boyfriend. There were times when the three of you would go outside and you ran into Stan, Kenny, Kyle, and Cartman a few times which were honestly good and entertaining interactions hence Kyle and Cartman going at each other's throats and insulting one another as if they were a married couple.
Rather than that, you had a pretty good time. Aunt Laura made dinner which you ate and enjoyed; she was a very good cook. With that, she drove you home and you weren't home till 7:00 pm.
By then, you noticed that your mom was already in bed which you don't blame her if you had a ton of paperwork to fill out, you'd be pretty tired too But you took this as an advantage to change out of your normal clothes hand into your hero attire, you grabbed the handgun you had in your closet and placed it in your holster. This should be fun.
Time for some action. This should be interesting just knowing how crazy this mountain town can be.
