I walked up to him.
"Hey there stranger." I said.
He turned around.
tears welled up in my eyes as I saw his face.

I couldn't control myself.
He looked at me.
"Y/N." He whispered.
He wrapped his arms tightly around me.

I didn't hug back.
"So you remember me?" I said pulling away.
He wasnt letting me go.
He hugged tighter and tighter.

"Shawn I can't breathe." I said in his chest.
"I don't care." He always said this whenever he hugged me tightly.

I laughed.
Remembering the good old days when Shawn and I were best friends forever.
But when he officially became a singer, he had to leave Canada.

He had to leave me.
He had promised me that he will text me, face time me every day.
But everyday was miles away from what he did.

He didn't even reply to my texts.
Sometimes he did.
Rarely.
I never thought anything negative.
Slowly but surely I was losing hope.

I completely thought he forgot me.
I never knew I would see him again.
When he came back to Canada , I wasn't there to see him.

I moved in Arizona.
But today, I saw him.

After 3 years.

How could I have just ignored him?

"I missed you so much" he said.
"if u really did miss me why did u ignore me?" I asked.

"i had dropped my phone and it broke of course.
I had lost your number.
I tried so hard to find you on social media.
But I couldn't.
I came back to Canada, for you but you left.
You had changed your number.
Aaliyah said that you had moved in Arizona." He said, his eyes becoming glossy as we looked into each others eyes.

"I really really missed you y/n" he wrapped his arms around me tightly again.
This time I hugged back.

He hadn't forgotten me.
Why did I think negatively?

We pulled back and he wiped my tears as I followed his actions.

"Shh now don't cry.
Be happy!" He smiled as he pushed a strand of my hairs behind my ear.

I nodded.
We got our spiced hot chocolate and got in his jeep.
"Where should we go?" He wondered.
"The hills we used to go?" I grinned.
"Sounds fun!" He said as he started driving.

Meanwhile, we played ed sheeran, Taylor Swift, xxxtentacion and Camile Cabello.

I sang along to every song that played on the radio.

Shawn's P.O.V.
I never thought I'd see her again.
But today, she came up to me after years, thinking I had forgotten who she was.

How could I have forgotten her?
The girl of my dreams.
The girl who made me feel so.something special.
The girl whom I really love.
The girl with whom I made great memories.

The moment I turned around, my eyes met hers and tears welled up in hers.

I don't know how I controlled myself.
She asked me if I remembered her.
That one question broke my heart.

I told her the reason I couldn't contact her.
No word I said was a lie.

We were both the happiest humans on the earth.
Right now we were driving to the hills we always went and had fun.

"I don't like your perfect crime how you laugh when you lie." She sang and looked at me dangerously.

She looked happy.
I kept taking glances at her and then back on the road.

She laughed when a little bit of her drink fell on her shirt.

Her laugh made my heart flutter.
I really do love her.
But how am I supposed to tell her?

"YAYYYYYY WE ARE HERE!" She chuckled and got out of the Jeep.

"Let's sit here?" She asked pointing on the edge of the hilly area. (Look at the cover of my book sacrifices to get an idea of the place they are.)

"Yeah good idea." I took out the blankets and food we had brought from my home.
Earlier,We drove back to my condo and got the blankets and food.

We sat down.
I put the blanket on us.
She rested her head on my shoulder.

I looked at her.
We watched the sunset together.
The sky getting darker as Toronto lights up.

It was such a beautiful sight.
I looked at her, her eyes sparkling.

It was time.
I need to tell her what I feel.
I need to tell her that I need her the most.
And I need to tell her that I love her.

"Hey y/n I need to tell you something." I said serious.
"Go ahead." She said.
She sat up and turned to my side as I followed her actions.

"I uh....I" i stuttered.
"You what Shawn? " She furrowed her eyebrows.
"You make me feel a special way.
You make my heart flutter.
I love your smile.
I love you." I said.

She nonchalantly stared at me with a blank expression.
"I Love you too." She said crashing her lips on mine.

Her lips felt like soft rose petals.
I felt the electricity in my body.
It was as if the time had stopped.
The world had stopped.

It was just me and her.
We pull away and look in her eyes.
She smiled making me smile.
I kissed her forehead.

she rested her head on my shoulder as she sat in between my legs.
Her back pressed up against my chest, the blanket keeping the both of us warm.

This is all I ever wanted.
She is all I ever wanted.
And now I have her.
She's all mine.
