The Raizada family and Jhas watched as Shashi and the family entered the mansion.

Nani welcomed them and turned to find a nonchalant Mami sitting on the couch while scrolling through her phone, this didn't go unnoticed by the family who sighed but four people were fuming in anger for their reasons.

Buaji and Garima who had had enough of her mistreating them and Payal and wanted to lash out at her but they controlled themselves knowing they are at her mercy especially now that they had lost their house to a developer who hadn't even given them a chance to arrange their living.

Anjali and Shyam were also pissed off that they have been invited to stay in the house when they were soon going to live in a small house.

Payal together with the help of HP was leading them to their assigned rooms but sometimes got Mami's eyes and stopped them.

"Shashiji wait. " Mami called out politely surprising and making everyone curious as she moved towards him and kneeled in front of him with a smile on her face.

Mami smiled and took his hand.

"You have lost a lot of weight. " Shashi sighed. "If only Khushi was here, she would have used her magic hands to help you but don't give up okay...... One of these days Devi Maiya will drop a miracle on you and it will heal you sooner than you think. "

Shashi smiled with tears in his eyes.

The Guptas and the Jhas felt uncomfortable with her words and Shashi's healing because they knew if he heals, he will expose all of them and they won't let that happen.

"Mami...... He is tired..... Let him rest. " Payal said and Mami stood up and threw a smirk at her which made her shudder for some unknown reason.

Mami then went back to her position leaving all of them perplexed by her action but said nothing.

Payal showed them their rooms and Shashi's room was the last.

Payal kneeled to touch her father but he glared at her in disgust and she moved back and seeing Akash there, she started with her crocodile tears.

Akash didn't like seeing Payal cry and kneeled to his level.

"Babuji, it's been over three years and you are still angry at Payal...... I do understand you but please stop punishing her for something she didn't do and I know she is also a culprit for keeping quiet but how long will you hurt her with your ignorance and rejection..... Please for my sake can you forgive her? "

"You are such a pathetic man...... Only if you knew how evil she is then you won't be asking me to forgive this witch..... I hope the day you realize the truth, you won't lose anything precious like I lost my Khushi. " Shashi thought looking at him.

Akash knew he wasn't going to barge and stood up and carried him to his bed and left the room.

Buaji and Garima glared at him but she closed his eyes and remembered all the good times he had had with his daughter Khushi.

Payal huffed and moved out with Buaji and Garima following her.

Immediately they were out of sight, a tall figure entered and closed the door behind.

It moved towards Shashi and covered his mouth with his hand.

Shashi jerked and opened his eyes to find Shyam staring at him with an evil smile on his face.

But the smile dropped on his face seeing the challenging look and hatred in Shashi's eyes and he shuddered and removed his hand and stood back in shock not getting the reaction he had hoped for and it pissed him off.

He was about to grab his neck when he saw a silhouette of a woman at the door and panicked.

Mami entered the room and was surprised to see Shyam carefully arranging the pillows beside Shashi making it look like he was doing it to prevent it from rolling and falling over.

"Hello hi bye bye... What are you doing here? " Mami asked looking at him suspiciously especially seeing the look of happiness in Shashi's eyes seeing her.

"The door was opened and I wanted to greet him but Payal and her aunt and mother are so careless that they didn't use the pillows to support him so I was just arranging it when you entered. " Shyam explained and if not that Mami has always been suspicious of him, she would have believed him.

She nodded and Shyam smiled and walked out with Mami following her and he rushed out of there fuming especially seeing Mami following him and standing at the gate and watching him leave.

Immediately he was done, Mami locked the door and smiled at Shashi as she sat beside him and held his hand and he smiled back.

"Khushi is here. " Mami revealed out of the blue shocking Shashi. "I spoke to her and I know you know Anjali is behind her leaving because I saw the hatred in your eyes immediately you entered...... I and Arnav know everything and don't worry, we will soon help you meet her okay."

She then went ahead and told him everything about Khushi except the abuse part and all of her and Arnav's plans to make them pay for what they did.

Shashi had tears of joy in his eyes hearing his Khushi had divorced Rudra and also had a granddaughter who fortunately was not Rudra's child but Arnav's child.

He has always known about Mami being Khushi's protector and now Arnav has joined in to protect her little princess.

Shashi with all his might squeezed her hand and started mumbling and turning his head and looking at the medication box on the table Mami looked confused but stretched out her hand and took it still holding Shashi's hand.

She looked at the box and felt Shashi squeeze her hand but this time harder than before.

"They are drugging you so that you don't expose them?" Mami asked looking at Shashi who squeezed her hand again and he felt a sense of relief and happiness knowing Mami has figured it out.

Mami was pissed hearing his and felt disgusted but she knew to control her anger.

She turned to Shashi and squeezed his hand in assurance and let go of his hand and took out five of the pills and tablets and tied them up at the end of her saree.

"I will find out what medicine this but don't worry...... From tomorrow you won't be here in this house and I know how to take advantage of this situation to force them to get you to a better hospital. " Mami assured him and he smiled.

She bid him good night and walked out of the room.

Anjali watched Mami walk out discreetly from Shashi's room and was curious as to why Shyam and she went into Shashi's room with one looking scared and the other with a content look on the face.

"Did Shashi say anything to them?..... No..... I am sure Shyam is trying to get information about Khushi from him, that bastard..... He still hasn't forgotten her but unfortunately for him, she is far away. " Anjali thought with a victorious smirk on her face but it dropped as began to find a reason Mami was also there and come to a conclusion that she was also looking for the same answer as Shyam.

Arnav and Aman stood on top of the roof of the apartment complex of Khushi watching two little girls playing in the small pool in the middle of the complex.

"My little niece is so beautiful and cute. " Aman exclaimed enthusiastically and Arnav smiled and nodded with a huge smile on his face as he watched his daughter.

Mami has given him the address of Khushi with a condition that he stays far and out of sight.

He made came there immediately after it was confirmed the house and plots surrounding the Gupta house and bought and they were kicked out.

He was itching to run to her and hug the daylight out of his little girl but he can't and have to be patient for now but the sad he lost the most precious times of her life all because of his stupid ego and pride and he didn't blame anyone but himself.

"Anu? " A familiar called out and Arnav smiled seeing his little princess run-up to Khushi and she scooped her up and threw her into the air and caught making her giggle uncontrollably.

She stopped and looked down at the bag Khushi had placed on the floor before carrying her and she wiggled out of her as and rummage through the bag and her eyes lit up seeing the chocolate bar in the bag and she took two and run off to the girl she was playing with and gave one to her.

Another woman showed up who looked like the other girl's mother and hugged Khushi and started chatting.

After two minutes, they were done and the woman called out to her daughter who looked disappointed but Anaisha whispered something into her ears and her face lit up and she run to her mother and waved at Anaisha and Khushi and walked away with her mother.

Khushi held Anaisha's hand and was about to pick up her bag but stopped and placed her hand on her chest.

Arnav clearly saw her mouth his name and it shocked him seeing that the palpitations he got when she was around also happened to her.

If he had doubts that they weren't soulmates then he is sure of it now.

He watched as Khushi and a confused Anaisha entered their apartment and sighed with a smile but it turned to anger and A man who was watching his every move and emotions on his face and body gestures was confused at what could have caused the switch of emotions.

He followed his gaze to find their bodyguards dragging a man into the van and he knew it was none other than Rudra.

Arnav was seething in anger as Aman drove following the car Rudra was detained in.

After half an hour of driving, the car halted at the farmhouse of Arnav and a scared Rudra was dragged out and into the basement and thrown on the floor hurting his forehead which hit the cold floor.

The height and size of the men in a black suit with the stoic menacing look in their eyes scared him as he has never been scared before.

"This Anjali because no one is capable of doing this to me I am sure of it...... She doesn't want to give me the money and resulted in this..... I won't spare that witch...... I just wanted to see my Khushi whom I coincidentally saw leaving a restaurant and followed her to her new house..... I didn't even get a proper glimpse at her but that witch had me kidnapped...... I won't spare her for this. " Rudra thought looking around for an escape but there was none.

The door of the basement opened and the clicking of shoes was heard.

Rudra looked at the silhouette of a tall man walking up to them and even though he didn't see his face, the way the man walked exuded confidence and a dominating and deadly aura.

The man finally reached into the light and Rudra's eyes widened in shock seeing the familiar face.

"ASR? "

Mumbai.

"Maithali please don't do this to me... Please give me another chance..... I promise to make it up to you. " Samrat, the husband of Maithali cried begging and she turned and slapped his head sending him to the floor.

A shocked Samrat looked up with his hand on his cheek looking at his once gentle wife looking like a wounded tigress backed in a corner towering over him.

"You think you can make up for the eight years of taunts from society when they called me barren and useless and blamed me for being childless but praised you for not leaving me when you were the culprit...... I endured your obnoxious mother and her crap just to be betrayed by you..... I am done and I thank God the divorce was finalised today..... Today I am a free woman and I won't let a deadbeat ex-husband like you weigh me down anymore. " Maithali yelled at her ex-husband and went back to packing the rest of her things as her mother in law watched seething in anger.

She vowed to make Khushi and Maithali pay dearly for the humiliation she and her son was facing because now the truth of her son's impotence is out and so is her divorce.

All this would have been possible but she had no idea the pain she was about to go through soon because of Arnav.
