I am so sorry for going MIA like that.

Rent is now becoming expensive and I and my sister found a cheaper and more comfortable apartment and we are moving in together so it has been a little bit chaotic juggling work and moving from my place and hers to the apartment, that's why I have been gone for so long.

So please bare with me if I don't update regularly but I promise to make it up to all of you as soon as I become less busy.

Mami, Aman and Arnav arrived home to a loud squeal of joy from Anaisha who got down from Manohar's lap and straight to Mami and she picked her up showing her with kisses all over her face making her giggle uncontrollably.

"Grandma..... I miss you so much. " Anaisha exclaimed enthusiastically and hugged her neck" And so did grandpa. " she continued and Mami looked up to find Manohar with swollen eyes and dark circles under his eyes indicating he neither had a good sleep nor stopped crying.

Aman's wounds, Arnav's stressful face, Anaisha's distress for missing her and Khushi and Maithili's worry for her and her husband's devastating state made the motherly love she had for Akash reduce tremendously.

She felt a rush of rage and hate for Akash, the son she had raised for three decades and she didn't feel remorseful about it.

She walked up to him with Anaisha in her as and Manohar hugged her and she reciprocated.

"I am so happy you are home. " Manohar exclaimed as he broke the hug and kissed her forehead and she smiled back at him.

"Grandma." Anu's voice broke their reverie. "You no leave grandpa again..... He was sad like me. " she complained with a pout followed by a full-blown smile." But now he is so happy to see you just like me. "

Manohar smiled and kissed her cheeks making her giggle.

Arnav went to take her from Mami so that they can have some needed alone time but Manohar denied and Mami together with Anu moved to their room as the family watched on.

"Dadi thought would be better if she didn't go to school today because she was the only one who could cheer papa up. " Khushi revealed and Arnav nodded and they walked and sat on the couch together with Aman and Dadi who cupped Aman's face checking his injuries.

"That shameless boy keeps on messing up over and over again but this time he has gone way too far. " Dadi exclaimed in anger examining Aman's injury.

She then turned to Khushi and Maithili and signalled something to them but both shook their heads which didn't go unnoticed by Aman and Arnav and they knew why.

"We already know Anjali is here and that Nani bailed her out...... As much as I want her out of this house together with Nani, I can't because I have better things to worry about. " Arnav revealed and Dadi nodded.

"Both of you go and get some rest let me prepare something for the three of you. " Dadi said standing up."Khushi dear go with Arnav. "

Khushi nodded and helped Arnav stand up.

"Dadi let me help you. " Maithili said and Dadi nodded as they walked to the kitchen and Aman, Khushi and Arnav to their respective rooms.

Anjali who was hiding watched them with tears of remorse in her eyes.

Only if she hadn't been jealous or insecure, Arnav and Khushi would have been together and even had another child.

She would have gotten the same affection Anaisha was showering on everyone except them.

Akash wouldn't have strayed if not because of her and Payal wouldn't have taken advantage of this to brainwash Akash.

All of this for a shameless man and her not wanting to be tagged as a disabled spinster and yet when she was in trouble, he disappeared.

Even though Payal lost him in traffic and could get to him, she knew he was hiding, preparing to expose and attack her but she has made up her mind and that is to confess everything and take the blame for whatever crime she is being accused of whether she is guilty or not.

She was done playing the coward and the manipulative prick.

Now she will own up to her mistakes and she is ready for all the consequences which she knew will mean jail time and losing Arnav forever.

Outside the gigantic gates of the Raizada Mansion, a car honked and the gates were opened and it parked at the parking shed in the mansion and out came a nervous Akash holding a brown envelope.

Flashback.

"This is our ticket to finally going far away and besides..... You are not doing any wrong by demanding half of your inheritance. " Payal said trying to convince a reluctant Akash. "All these papers in the envelope needs is your parent's signature and we will leave from here and start our lives afresh....... But remember not to fall into their trap......they will make up any story to paint me as a bad villain and please let our love guide you."

Akash sighed and nodded and took the papers walking out to fulfil his wife's wishes.

Flashback ends.

"This is for our future. " Akash mumbled and let out a huge sigh and walked into the house.

HP opened the door and threw a disgusted look at Akash who was taken aback and hurt but he knew it was an understandable reaction to what he did.

"Can you please call my parent down and tell them I want to see them. "

HP nodded and walked upstairs to call Mami and Manohar.

After he was done, he made it his mission to make sure the others excluding Anjali and Nani knew.

Within a few minutes, Mami and Manohar were standing in front of Akash who was looking nervous and was trying to cover it up but failed miserably.

"I didn't come here to fight but to ask for my share of the properties...... I want to leave the country with Payal and had a comfortable and normal life away from all of you and this is the least you two can do after you all could the death of my unborn child. " Akash spoke confidently but he wasn't fooling them.

He was taken aback by the blank expression on their faces but he was here for business and stretched out his hand to take the papers.

Arnav beat them to it by snatching the envelope from him and he opened it and started reading it.

He was shocked by the content and handed it to Aman who was equally shocked and both looked at him and felt sorry for his stupidity.

They knew he didn't read the content of the documents and this will be in their favour even though Mami and Manohar will lose half of everything they own which was in the millions but he was a risk Arnav was going to take and besides, he can get everything back by buying them back and Aman has long had the same thought and both looked at each other and nodded.

This confused all of them, especially Akash who thought they will put up a fight.

"Uncle..... Mami...... Please sign the papers. " Arnav said shocking all of them except Aman.

"Papa!.... Maa!..... Please sign it and give this ungrateful bastard what he wants. " Aman begged and Manohar and Mami nodded trusting their boys will not let them down.

Aman moved closer to Akash and snatched the pen from his hand and walked up to his parent who signed the papers without thinking twice.

Aman smiled at them and they looked at Arnav and Aman with pride and Akash felt horrible to see even when they are about to lose everything they owned, they still trusted and were proud of them and he wished they could look at him the same but he was a vague wish because he knew from now on, he will be seen with disgust.

Aman shoved the papers at his chest and he held on to it before it fell.

"From now on, you are dead to me and this family....... You may keep the Raizada name but you will never be one of us. " Mami exclaimed in a deadly serious time sending shivers down his spine of Akash. "I disown you forever and not even your death will make me forgive you for betraying this family for that whore."

"This was what your mother was trying to protect you from but you never understood her all for a woman and her accomplices who didn't think twice in betraying her sister for money and comfort and even going as far to give her father poison so that she won't expose her and her fraud of a mother and an aunt. " Manohar said shocking everyone except Mami.

Aman and Arnav's heads snapped looking at the couple, especially Mami and they immediately realised she had told him.

Khushi, Maithili and Dadi gasped in shock hearing this and they knew Manohar was not a man to lie about something like this.

"Papa?..... What nonsense are you spewing? " Akash exclaimed in anger.

"It's the truth. " Anjali's voice was heard and Akash turned to watch her limp towards them and she stood in front of Akash. "It's the truth Akash....... I have to tell you truth about your wife and the women in her family including my sons. " Anjali cried out and confessed how she saw Khushi slap Shyam and the discovery of him being a paying guest at the Gupta house.

She blackmailed the family to get Khushi married and payments she made to the Ranawats and Guptas.

Payal suggestion of drugging Shashi to keep him quiet and her attempt to kill Anaisha.

Nani and everyone present who didn't know was stunned to their core.

A loud slap resounded in the hall of the mansion.

Anjali held on to her abused cheek and looked up to find Dadi fuming in anger and with tears in her eyes.

Dadi held her as and shook her vigorously.

"What did your brother do to you to deserve all this hate..... He took care of and made sure you were comfortable, sacrifices he made us for you to be happy and you couldn't give him a chance to be happy...... You are no different from your father...... But I would let you hurt him anymore...... I will kill you first before you try anything to hurt him again. " Dadi yelled and pushed her.

She then took off her glasses and broke them and was about to attack Anjali with the sharp edge of her frame when Arnav rushed up to her and stopped her.

Anjali looked at his grandmother shocked by her attempt to kill her.

A roar of laughter broke the family's reverie and they turned to find Akash laughing hysterically.

"Wow...... What a performance? " Akash said clapping. "Di..... I can't believe you of all people will betray like this and side with them just because they bailed you. " Anjali was about to retort when Akash raised his hand stopping her. "Payal already predicted this happening..... Her being framed for something she didn't do all because you all hate her...... Am glad I  leaving this family for good..... I wish to never see anyone of you ever again. "

Akash walked out without looking back and Mami and Manohar shook their heads at his stupidity.

"Arnav." Khushi cried out and Arnav let Dadi go and rushed up to her and hugged her as she cried in his arms.

"Please send her away from her...... I don't trust her..... She is capable of hurting our baby...... And how could they do something like this to babuji...... I want revenge Arnav...... I want all of them to pay dearly. " Khushi cried out.

"Shhhhh, my love...... They will pay..... That I promise you. " Arnav assured her as he held onto her.

Mami and Manohar walked out of there and towards Akash's room.

They dragged out the clothes, shoes and accessories belonging to Akash and Payal throwing them down to the floor of the hall as the others watched on.

Manohar yelled out to HP to donate or dispose of the things.

A picture frame caught the eyes of Dadi and she walked up to it and picked it up.

She gasped in shock looking at the picture frame.

"Dadi are you okay? " Maithili asked and Dadi shook her head and turned the picture frame to them and pointed at Garima.

"She is the woman who exposed your father that day...... She is your father's mistress. " Dadi revealed shocking all of them.
