Khushi was sitting on the bed in hers and Arnav's room lost in thought.

She knew Arnav was the one who kidnapped Rudra and beat him up and the bandage on his hand when she saw him with Anaisha was all the proof she needed but how is Anjali being blamed for it and from Anjali's expression, Khushi deduced Anjali knows Rudra on a personal level but how.

She heard the bathroom door click open and out came the only person who can answer her questions and unlike yesterday when he avoided her by using Anaisha, she won't let him succeed.

Arnav felt a gaze on him and looked up to find Khushi with a stern look on her face and her arms crossed and he knew why but he was hesitant.

Mami didn't want anyone aside from them knowing so he immediately formulated a half-truth of a story to tell her and was praying she will believe him.

He moved over to his recliner and pulled it towards Khushi, positioned it right in front of her and sat down facing her.

"Explain yourself MR Raizada? " Khushi demanded sternly and Arnav sighed.

"I am behind Anjali's arrest...... She is not as innocent as she looks....... I found out she has been giving Rudra money to keep you away from me. " Khushi looked stunned hearing his words. "She knows I love you and if we were together, she will no longer be my priority...... So she paid Rudra to keep you away from me and me having her arrested is just the beginning of her punishment. " Arnav said with a clenched jaw and Khushi held his hand and rubbed it to calm him down.

"You had blackmailed Rudra to implicate Anjali but what if they investigate and find out it was you. " Khushi said in a panicking tone. "They will take you away from us. "

Arnav pulled her up and made her sit on his lap and made her look straight into his eyes.

"I have made sure that won't happen, the Ranawats own a lot of debts and Rudra knows they can't pay for it without Anjali's money which she longer has so I made him a deal and he accepted and conversations and messages including transactions from Anjali's account to his is all the proof the police need...... Anjali may be let out on bail but this gives me the perfect opportunity to make her an outcast and make her pay for everything........ There is more to this that I can't tell you but believe me....... I, Aman and Mami will handle everything..... Just enjoy and let me, Aman and Mami handle everything. "

Khushi was stunned hearing Mami's name but she was happy knowing Arnav and them were ready to make her stress free even though she wanted to be part but knowing the man she loves, she knew it was a lost cause to insist so left it there.

Khushi nodded and both kept on staring at each other's lips and were slowly leaning in for a kiss when a loud banging on the door broke them apart.

They turned to the door and saw the silhouette of a small girl holding a teddy bear and smiled.

Khushi stood up and opened the door.

She was about to crouch and hug Anaisha but she sauntered away into her father's arms and kissed his cheeks which he happily reciprocated.

Khushi rolled her eyes jealously because she has been deprived of a kiss by Anaisha's abrupt interruption.

Arnav saw this and walked up to her and kissed her on the lips.

Arnav broke the kiss with a smirk on his face and Khushi stood frozen in shock at his boldness in kissing her in front of Anaisha who giggled together with her father.

Aman's Room.

Aman sat on his bed smiling as he remembered what happened a few minutes ago.

Flashback.

Aman got out of the shower and put on his outfit for the day and was in a hurry to go down because he was slept in and knew by now the family had already had breakfast.

He was done and was about to move out when he heard a knock on his door.

He permitted the person to enter and entered Maithili looking nervous.

"Sorry to disturb you but Khushi told me everything about what you and ASR did to make Rudra accuse Mrs Jha. "

Aman looked shocked realising Arnav had told Khushi everything when Mami wanted them to handle everything in secret and not even his father knew but it but the next confession made Aman relax.

Arnav had somehow smartly avoided the real truth about everything and he sighed in relief.

"I want you to know that if you need anything or information about the Ranawats then tell me. " Maithili continued and Aman nodded.

Maithili was leaving when Aman called out to her.

"You look lovely as always. "

Maithili was taken aback but smiled blushing at his compliment.

And walked away with a huge smile on her face.

Flashback ends.

Mami entered her son's room holding a tray filled with fruits, sandwiches and milkshakes for him only to find him grinning like an idiot oblivious of her presence.

She knew it was Maithili because on her way here, Maithili passed by her with the second expression and she didn't even notice her.

She looked happy seeing her plan working.

She moved to the bed and tapped his shoulder making her presence known Aman was surprised to see her in his room but it turned to happiness and he kissed her forehead.

Mami then handed the chocolate milkshake to him but he shook his head making Mami frown and she held his hand to give the shake to him.

Aman freed his hand from her grasp confusing Mami.

"Feed me Maa. " Aman said out of the blue and Mami nodded with tears in her eyes and took the tray and placed it on the bed.

She happily started feeding Aman who was enjoying every single moment of this and so was Mami.

Both were enjoying each other's company oblivious of the pair of eyes watching them and fuming in anger.

Both felt a gaze on them and turned to find Akash standing at the door with a scowl on his face.

Immediately he saw them looking at him, he left and Mami sighed.

Aman held her hand and kissed it.

"How did your talk with him go this morning?...... I know Papa is fed up and doesn't want to speak to him but did you speak to him.? " Aman asked and Mami nodded sadly.

"I did and your father is right..... It is a waste of time and it's better we leave him alone. " Mami replied.

Flashback.

Mami knocked on the door of Akash and Payal's room and she sighed knowing Manohar will be mad if he found out she is still trying to talk sense into Akash's head.

Akash opened the door which surprised her because it was always the inquisitive Payal who always answers the door.

Akash frowned when he saw Mami and she smiled at him but it wasn't reciprocated.

"If you are here to speak to Payal, then she is not here...... She went out with Buaji to visit Shashi who unfortunately doesn't appreciate her presence but her golden child whom he loves more than his biological child hasn't even visited him. " Akash taunted and  Mami shook her head at her son's ignorance.

"It's good she went to visit him and leave Khushi alone..... Anyways I didn't come here for her but you. "

Akash looked taken aback but opened the door and invited her in.

He closed it from behind and went to sit on his bed.

Mami moved closer and sat by him and cupped his face.

"I know you think we don't love you because we were critical of you and will abandon you just because Aman is our biological son but trust, our love for you hasn't changed...... Yes, we were harsh on you in the past but it was because you were always falling on the wrong advice of your grandmother...... She convinced you to stop schooling and accused us of paying for Arnav's expensive schooling but know you know the truth...... She also made you believe I cared more about Arnav than you when I sold my jewellery and gave it to Arnav but look at what happened when I gave you and Anjali a share of the money I got from the sale..... She deceived the two of you into giving it to her and lost everything in a Ponzi scheme....... We love you Akash and never forget it bit you have to open your eyes or else one day you will lose everything and it will be too late...... No one is forced to have a relationship with Aman but whether you like it or not, he is your brother and part of the family. "

Mami stood up and walked to the door but halted and turned to Akash.

"Be careful of your wife and better not fall into her words against me and us..... She is another version of your Dadi and I will hate for you to fall prey again. "

Akash rolled his eyes at her words and Mami knew that very moment Akash was lost for good and her husband was right.

Flashback ends.

"He is a lost cause now and as much as it will hurt me to know how hurt he will be when the truth comes out, I am free of guilt that I did my best to protect him. "

Aman moved closer and hugged his mother and she reciprocated.

Delhi Police Station.

Buaji and Payal walked up to the cell of Anjali pissed off at her for threatening to expose them if they didn't come to see her at the station.

Garima also joined them there because she was also involved and seeing how protective Arnav is of Khushi, she knew she will murder them when their true and the truth of her affair with Arvind comes out and she will do anything to forever keep it hidden.

"Finally the three of you are here. " Anjali said looking pissed off about how long they took to be here and the three rolled their eyes at her.

"What did Rudra reveal to the police? " Buaji asked feeling nervous.

"According to the lawyer, he said I paid him to keep Khushi away from chote and when he demanded more money, I hired people to beat him up which I didn't but the text messages I sent threatening him made me look like the culprit...... Buaji better finds him and talk him out of dropping the charges or else if I go down then all of you are going down with me...... Mami won't think twice and will kick you out and even Akash will be disowned if he supports you. "

"This is all your fault...... If you had exposed Shyam after hearing his conversation with Khushi that day, we wouldn't be in this position now...... You were the one who paid us and the Ranawat to get Khushi married and taken away from your brother....... So what if she will be Arnav's priority at least you will still be enjoying his wealth and also find a way to make Khushi come under your control but you made this stupid plan and now Rudra hurt himself and blames you for it....... Arnav now had a reason to kick you out of his life forever all because of your stupid plan. " Payal yelled at Anjali who for the first time knew Payal was right.

She should have allowed Khushi to stay and that would have been the best thing to do but now it was too late.

"I know I made a mistake...... I should have exposed him and all the affairs he has been having since he married me but I can't afford to be called a divorcee and a barren woman...... We have to find another way out of this now. "

The sound of clapping was heard and they all turned to find Shyam with a smirk on his face as he moved closer to them.

The smirk on his face turned into a scowl.

Immediately he turned to Anjali and grabbed her neck through the rails strangling her.

Payal and buaji moved forward and pushed it away as Anjali fell to the floor coughing and gasping for air.

She shuddered to see the murderous rage in his eyes.

"Because of you and them, I lost my Khushi...... You wait and watch..... I will tell everyone the truth about you and they will all turn against you, especially Arnav. " Shyam threatened and walked away.

"Stop him. " Anjali yelled at them and they nodded and rushed behind Shyam whose car drove out of there.

Payal entered her car and followed him losing him.

She was frustrated as she drove towards RM but to her luck, Shyam's has broken down and he was pacing back and forth until he saw their car coming.

He signalled to stop and Payal slowed down and Shyam run up to them.

A few meters to reach them, Payal smirked evilly and accelerated her car and Shyam was frozen by the shock of seeing Payal's car zoom up to him and before he knew it, he was flying in the air and come crashing down of the paved road.

Garima and Buaji looked at Payal petrified by what she had just done.

"It needs to be done..... Now help me carry him into his car and let's push it down the bridge and into the river below...... If he is found, it will look like an accident. "  Payal said getting out of the car but the two didn't move until she yelled at them.

They immediately got down and carried Shyam into his car and pushed the car towards the bridge.

Since it has no protective barriers, it was easy for them to push the car into the river.

"Let's go away from here before anyone sees us. " Payal said and they all rushed out of there.
