5:30 AM

Freya and Juliet are sleeping in their capsules and Cassie is sleeping in her bed with Cinnamon on the foot of her bed. It was a peaceful and quiet morning until Chase ran, excitedly.

"AHHHHH!!" Chase yelled, and this woke up Cassie first along with Cinnamon who leaped into the air, hissing.

Freya suddenly stumbled into her capsule, gasping loudly. "WHAT? WHO DIED?"

Chase rushed over to Freya's capsule as it opened and she glared at him. "WE DID IT!"

"Chase, it's 5:30 in the morning. What could be so important that you woke me up?" Freya grumbled tiredly, rubbing her eyes. Cassie groaned from her bed, picking up Cinnamon and cuddling her back to sleep. Juliet hadn't budged; she was still in her deep sleep.

"Come on! I'll show you!" Chase exclaimed to her, shaking her. Freya frowned at the abrupt movement.

"Keep shaking me, and I'll electrify you!" Freya threatened, shutting her eyes. Chase stopped and went to pull her out of the room, but Freya went back into her capsule.

"Rey! Come on!" He encouraged her, and the blonde waved him off, taking her arm back.

"Later!" She groaned. "Goodnight!" She blew him a kiss, smiling briefly.

"No, no." He chuckled and grabbed her arm, tossing her over his shoulder.

"CHASE!" She yelled, and Chase smiled as he walked out. "Mom! Juliet!?"

Freya looked up and saw her sister was still sleeping and Cassie had fallen back asleep.

"This better be worth it, Davenport!" Freya snapped. "You're lucky I'm too tired to shock you!"

Freya was also too busy staring at his butt and impressed by how way he tossed her over his shoulder.

~Transponder Room~

Chase walked into a small room with the transponder and placed an annoyed Freya down. In the room were Donald, Adam, Bree, and Leo.

"That was unnecessary!" Freya huffed, adjusting her hair and clothes. "But... hot? I don't how to feel!"

Chase gave her a cheeky grin, noticing her flustered yet annoyed face. Freya was conflicted about her feelings, and Chase was proud of his actions.

"You are not a morning person," Leo chuckled amused, noticing her irritated face.

"Back off, Dooley!" Freya snapped, pointing at him angrily. Leo leaned away, and Freya folded her arms, huffing and looking away.

"Here she is, the Davenchase energy transponder." Chase smiled, gesturing to the device that was inside an impenetrable glass cube with a retina scan lock.

"That little thing is what you guys have been working on the past 5 years?" Adam asked Chase, who nodded. He put on a fake voice. "Your genius is fading, young Chase!"

"Yeah, if you think that's impressive, I've got a log cabin made of popsicle sticks that will blow your mind!" Leo added, laughing.

"That was yours?" Freya asked and pressed her lips together sheepishly. Leo's eyes grew in horror. "Oops..."

Bree sighed. "So, uh, what does it do?"

"It's kind of like Leo's transference ability. It wirelessly harnesses energy from sources around it, then stores it, so it's the ultimate power source." Chase explained.

Adam chuckled, taking his phone out. "Oh cool, I've been looking for a new phone charger. Crack her open and juice me up."

"It's not a phone charger, Adam, it's a billion-dollar piece of technology. This little device packs enough punch to power an entire skyscraper." Donald explained.

Adam shrugged. "So, what'll that get me, like, 15 hours of talk time?"

"Right now, this is just a one-of-a-kind prototype but soon, the entire world will run on my technology." Donald continued to explain.

Chase chuckled, putting his hand on his shoulder. "Uh, I think you mean our technology."

Donald laughed back, nodding. "Yeah, my technology." Chase's face fell. "Here let me show you how it works. For security reasons, we're keeping it in this impenetrable cube that can only be opened with my retina scan." Donald leaned down and allowed the retina scanner to scan his eye and it opened.

Leo grinned. "Eye am impressed." Leo awkwardly chuckled and no one laughed. "Get it. 'Cause he has to use his eye to open the thing."

"Too early for that," Freya shook her head.

Donald carefully sets the transponder on a lower table, cooing over it like a baby as Chase supervised.

Chase advised Donald. "Careful, careful." The two stood up after Donald had placed it down. "Isn't it amazing?"

"It's not doing anything--" Bree protested.

"It's harvesting energy!" Chase snapped and Bree leaned away.

Adam shrugged. "Ah sorry, but all I see is a phone charger." He gasped. "Oh! Does it come with a cute little carrying case?"

Chase folded his arms. "Okay, Adam, still think it's a phone charger? Go ahead, put your phone on there."

Freya grinned softly.

"Thank you. Don't mind if I do." Adam puts the phone on the transponder and it gets blasted off it in a matter of seconds. Freya jumped back and laughed.

Chase grinned. "You still think it's a phone charger?"

"Nope. I'm just glad I tried it on your phone instead of mine." Adam laughed before running out and Bree, Leo, and Freya chucked as they followed him out. Chase rolled his eyes in annoyance.

~Later; Training Area~

Donald and Chase were getting ready for their global webcast to start. They were going to introduce to the world their new invention, the DavenChase Energy Transponder. Most of the students were watching on the side as Leo and Freya were running the camera and tech side of it.

Freya wasn't helping, she was just here to stare at her boyfriend, who was in a suit.

"All right, guys, millions of people are online waiting for the global webcast to start," Leo informed them.

Donald smiled excitedly. "Oh, this is exciting, how do we look?"

Freya smiled, staring at her boyfriend, and playing with her hair.

"Like a couple of Hitman from the minivan mob," Leo answered honestly and Freya chuckled.

Donald turned away and Freya approached her boyfriend. She adjusted his tie and kissed his nose, "I think you look great. You should wear this all the time."

"You say the same thing about my mission suit," Chase remarked as Freya gently brushed off his shoulder.

"Oh? Well, you just look good in everything," Freya winked. Chase blushed softly as Freya kissed his cheek, and then walked back over to the Leo.

Chase shook his head, not letting her flirting get to him. He turned to Donald. "Hey wait, what about the sign?"

"Oh, right," Donald reveals the sign under the tarp. It said 'DAVENchase Energy Transponder.' However, Chase's name was in a small font as Donald's was bigger and bolder.

"Wow, I am not surprised." Freya snickered.

"I'm surprised Chase's name is there at all," Leo muttered and the two chuckled.

Chase was in shock and yelled. "Are you kidding me?!"

Donald did a double-take at the sign. "I know. Your name was supposed to be much smaller."

Chase huffed, impatient. "Great. So once again, it's all about you."

Donald assured his son, taking his arms. "Chase, relax, I have no problem sharing the spotlight."

"Boys!" Freya called, and they turned.

Leo helped the camera still. "Guys, we're on in three, two..."

Donald shoved Chase to the side, getting in front of the camera. "You're in my light. You're in my light!"

——

~Common Area~

Bree and Juliet were standing at a cyber desk as Adam walked in, rolling a laundry cart full of dirty clothes.

Adam groaned, getting the girl's attention. "Ugh, how come I always get stuck on laundry duty?"

Bree gestured to him. "You volunteered, remember? So you could play your little "guess the stain" game."

Adam chuckled, nodding. "Oh, yeah. Ooh, this is a good one." Adam sniffed a yellow shirt and shook his head. "Ah. Grape jelly and tuna. Healthy. Must be Bob's."

Juliet took the shirt from him, tossing it down. "Hey, come on. Let's go get ready for training. I need you as my target."

Adam put his hand up. "Wait a minute, I'm not done." Adam sniffs another shirt and groans in disgust. "Ugh! That smells horrible." He paused for a moment. "But how does it taste?"

Bree and Juliet groaned. "Adam!!"

Bree and Juliet drag Adam out of the room before he can taste it.

When the room was empty, suddenly, three teens appeared in the common area, using a wormhole transporter. Two boys and one girl.

"I will never enjoy that thing." The brunette girl groaned, stumbling into one of the boys. The girl was named Emma, she was 16 and had brown hair and brown eyes. She was the ray of sunshine in the group with an anxiety disorder.

On her left, was her twin brother, Oliver. "Uh, Kaz, where are we? You told us we were going to a comic book festival in Amsterdam."

Kaz, the other 16-year-old teen, helped Emma get stable on her feet. "Have you ever been to Amsterdam?"

Oliver and Emma shook their heads. "No."

Kaz smiled. "Welcome to Amsterdam."

Emma sighed. "Kaz, where are we? Seriously."

Emma was Kaz's girlfriend and Oliver's twin sister. The three are best friends and work at a secret hospital for superheroes called Mighty Med.

"Look guys, I heard about this Bionic Academy and I had to check it out," Kaz told the two.

Oliver frowned. "Bionic Academy?"

"Bionic? Like superpower?" Emma asked.

Kaz nodded as the teens walked down the steps of the platform. "Yeah. This guy Donald Davenport created it. And there's like a hundred kids with all different abilities that train here. They're like high-tech warriors."

"That's so cool! I want some!" Emma beamed happily, taking Kaz's hand. Emma dreams of becoming a superhero.

"Great, 'cause that's the place you want to break into." Oliver objected.

Kaz sighed, reasoning with him. "Come on, man. This could be the key to me and Emmie finally getting powers. All we have to do is borrow whatever device installs bionics. No one will ever know."

"If you keep this up, I'm gonna stop wormholing with you." Oliver threatened.

"I am fine with that," Emma remarked.

Kaz spotted the laundry cart with dirty clothes and smiled. "Quit worrying. I got us covered."

——

Oliver, Emma, and Kaz were inspecting the shirts they put on from the laundry cart that Adam left in the room. Emma wasn't fond of the color choices, they didn't have her favorite. Pink.

"These are all the colors they got?" Emma went with the second best, which was yellow. "Where's the pink?"

"The yellow matches your adorable and bright smile," Kaz poked her cheek, and Emma giggled bashfully.

"It sure does!" She twirled her hair as Kaz grinned at her.

Oliver interrupted their moment, getting annoyed by their relationship. He sniffed his shirt and recoiled. "Oh. Guess this academy doesn't train kids to put on deodorant."

Kaz smiled at his shirt and smiled. "Ooh. Grape jelly and tuna. Fancy."

"Ew, tuna." Emma scrunched her nose up.

——

~Training Area~

Kaz, Emma, and Oliver were in the training area, searching for any signs of bionic abilities. Emma had a feeling they wouldn't just find them lying on the ground for free.

"Man, I don't get it. These bionics have got to be around here somewhere." Kaz sighed

"I don't think these powerful bionic abilities would just be lying around here." Emma reasoned.

"Okay, let's say you do get the bionics. What are you going to do with all that power?" Oliver asked them.

"Have world peace?" Emma grinned. "Oh! And duplicate all my baked goods!"

Emma loves to bake, it's one of her main hobbies in life. Besides being a doctor at a superhero hospital.

"Yes, that seems like a plan." Kaz gestured to Emma. "But the rest is between me and the rest of the weird bionic people."

Adam enters the training room with Juliet and some students. Juliet's eyes narrowed at the sight of the three unknown teens and folded her arms.

Adam spotted the teens. "Hey! What are you three doing here? You're supposed to be training. Get with the other students."

"Oh no!" Emm panicked and tried to leave, but Kaz and Oliver stopped her.

"All right, fall in." Adam gestured for the group to huddle close. Juliet continued to look at the three teens, curious about why she hadn't seen them before.

"Do we know them?" Juliet whispered to her boyfriend as the group got together.

"I can't remember half the names here," Adam shrugged and the redhead rolled her eyes.

Oliver chuckled nervously. "Uh, yes, we will...get with the other students because we are students...of the island."

"Yes! Students! Just like everyone else here!" Emma added in, grinning sheepishly. Emma can't do awkward situations, it gives her anxiety.

Kaz took her hand, squeezing it. "Smooth."

"Not helping," Emma mumbled, leaning toward him.

"All right, for today's combat exercise, you'll be pairing up and fighting each other using your bionics," Adam explained. "Any questions?" No one answered, except Emma who let out a panicked squeak. This got looks from a few students and Kaz covered her mouth. "And I hope not, because I can pretty much guarantee I don't know the answer."

Kaz lowered his hand from Emma's mouth as Oliver asked a question. "Uh, can we practice fighting without bionics, and also without fighting?"

"I like that option." Emma agreed.

"That's boring," Juliet scoffed, giving them a weird look, and Emma looked away with embarrassment.

Adam frowned with confusion. "I would say yes, but I'm afraid no one would get hurt." Adam approached Emma and led her over to another student. Emma shut her eyes, fearing the worst. "Now, let's see if we can find a match to pair with you." Kaz and Oliver watched with panicked faces. "A-ha. This will be funny." Adam stopped in front of Juliet, who smirked down at the brunette.

"Juliet," Juliet greeted her, sticking her hand out.

Oliver chimed in, laughing nervously. "This shouldn't be too bad for you."

Juliet shoots fire from her hands and Emma yells, jumping in Kaz's arms. "Ahhhh!"

Juliet folded her arms, smirking to herself. Emma exhaled, holding onto Kaz's shoulders.

"I wasn't expecting that!" Emma exclaimed.

Oliver stepped forward. "If it's okay, she actually has a partner." He pointed to himself. "And if it's not okay, can he be her partner?" Oliver gestured to Kaz, who glared at him.

——

~Common Area~

Freya walked into the common area and sighed with relief when she saw Chase at a cyber desk.

"There you are!" Freya said as she touched his arm. She could immediately sense Chase's upset mood, and she knew the reason. Donald made the whole presentation about himself, and it upset Chase. "You upset about the presentation?"

"Yes," he sighed, slamming his hand on the desk. He let out a huff, and Freya squeezed his arm. "He always does this."

"It's Davenport. He doesn't know what sharing is," Freya remarked. "If it helps, you looked ten times better than him. And don't need the insane amount of makeup he uses."

Chase flashed her an amused grin, and the blonde chuckled softly. "Thanks, Rey." He put his arm around her and kissed her temple. "Hey, our one-year anniversary is coming up soon."

"Already? It's been a year?" Freya asked, her cheeks flushing at the thought. "I can't believe you've been dealing with me for that long."

"You get used to it," Chase joked and Freya nudged his rib playfully. "I have an idea for a date if you are interested."

"I gotta look at my schedule," Freya teased, glancing at her phone for a second. "Oh look, it's all clear."

Chase grinned at her and kissed her lips gently.

The hydroloop doors opened, and the couple turned to find a large man in a suit walkout. Chase instinctively got protective and placed himself in front of Freya, who lowered her arms and narrowed her eyes at the man. Chase carefully approached the man, as Freya stayed back with uneasiness.

She could sense something was off about this man.

"Uh, excuse me. This is a restricted area. Can I help you?" Chase asked him.

"I'm looking for Mr. Davenport. I represent a group of buyers and we'd like to make an offer for his energy transponder." The man explained, and Freya shifted her weight, pressing her lips together.

"He's not here. And you're too late. He already made a deal." Chase asked shrugged, turning away.

"Wait. I saw you standing behind him on the webcast." The man pointed to Chase, who turned back. "Aren't you the other guy that created the transponder?"

Chase flashed him a cheeky grin. "Well, I don't mean to brag, but yes, I am Chase. The most brilliant man in the world."

"Let's not get cocky," Freya tapped his shoulder before she grabbed it. She gently whispered in his ears. "Keep your guard up."

Chase waved her off, and the blonde rolled her eyes as she backed up. She was annoyed Chase wasn't at all on high alert for this random man.

"Well, if you don't mind me asking, who did he make the deal with?" The man asked Chase.

"I couldn't tell you. I was left out of the negotiations." Chase explained and grinned. "I don't know if you noticed, but my father's a bit of an ego-maniac."

"A bit?" Freya muttered, shaking her head.

"I did notice that, lowercase Chase." The man pointed out. "Well, I guess I'm wasting my time, kids. I'm used to dealing with the people who make the decisions."

The man turned to leave, and Chase stopped him. "Wait. I had just as much to do with the transponder as he did." Freya folded her arms, shaking her head. "And the prototype is still here."

"Chase-" Freya went to grab his arm, but Chase dismissed her.

"I'll double whatever offer you have." The man negotiated.

"I don't care about the money. I just want the transponders produced in an environmentally friendly way." Chase explained, and Freya raised her eyebrows at him.

"Of course. That's our motto." The man walked by them, his eyes filled with panic for a second. "Nature first...everything else second. So do we have a deal?"

Freya could sense he was lying about the motto. This man is a fake, she knows it.

"You know what? Yes. Yes, we do." Chase agreed, shaking his hand. "And my dad is going to kill me."

"Chase," Freya gestures her boyfriend over. Chase went up to her. She spoke in a hushed voice. "We don't know this man. You can't show him the transponder."

"Rey, it's fine." He assured her, taking her hands. "He wants to make an offer, and I'm going to take it."

"Chase-"

"Freya, don't worry," Chase assured her, and the blonde rolled her eyes. He turned away from his girlfriend, and she watched Chase lead the man off of the room.

"Something is off. That man gives me a weird feeling," Freya mumbled to herself before she followed the two to the transponder room.

——

~Transponder Room~

Chase led the man into the room with the transponder. Freya followed, but stayed back and leaned against the doorway, watching carefully,

"There it is." Chase indicated to the transponder.

"Wow. It's beautiful." The man smirked.

"Yeah, I know." Chase nodded and turned to the man. "Um, by the way, I never caught your name."

The man's eyes darkened. "How rude of me. It's..." Freya stood up straight with alarm as the man blasted Chase to the floor with some sort of energy blast. "The Incapacitator!"

"Chase!" Freya yelled and fired an electricity blast at The Incapacitator, who stumbled back and turned to the blonde.

He chuckled darkly, and Freya continued to stare at him with anger, her hands flowing with electricity.

"Cute," he mocked. "You have energy. I could use that."

"I won't let you." Freya sneered and went to fire her electricity again, but it was quickly absorbed by The Incapacitator. Freya suddenly felt her body get incredibly weak and was met with another power blast and got blasted to the ground. She and Chase were on the ground unconscious as The Incapacitator left the room with the transponder in his hands.

——

~Training Area~

Back in the training area, two students had just battled it out and were on the floor passed out. Adam smiled, laughing and Juliet stood there next to him, grinning at the sight.

"Mm. Great work, you two. When both students are completely passed out, I know I've done my job." Adam approached Kaz and Oliver with Emma standing near them. "All right, you guys are up next. What are your names again?"

"Francois Bouchon de la Guerra." Kaz told him, and Adam frowned in confusion. "But you can call me Frank."

"And, uh, you two are?" Adam asked as he typed the names on his tablet.

"Frankie!" Emma smiled with slight panic in her eyes, and Kaz gave her a look with her arms up.

"Frank." Oliver panicked and responded, and Kaz and Emma shared a look.

"All right, everybody. It's Frank on Frank. Let's see what they got." Adam announced, backing away. Emma grabbed their arms before they went into the middle.

"What are you gonna do?" Emma asked them.

"Follow my lead," Kaz said, and Emma moved back, watching them with anxiety as she bit her nails. "Ahem."

Kaz touches his temples and starts screaming. Oliver frowned for a second, before catching on and yelling, grabbing his head in pain.

"Aaah! Make it stop! Make it stop!"

"What is happening?" Juliet asked.

"What are you doing to him?" Adam yelled.

"I can attack other people's brains with my brain," Kaz exclaimed, and Juliet scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"That's not a real ability," Juliet remarked.

"Yes, it is!" Oliver protested.

"Well, I'm convinced! Frank! What are you doing? Fight back! What's your ability?" Adam asked Oliver.

"I... have the same ability!" Oliver yelled, and Juliet shook her head, folding her arms.

"Seriously?" Kaz asked, standing up straight for a second.

Now, Oliver and Kaz both start screaming, holding their heads.

Emma was standing on the side, still biting her nails anxiously.

"This is the most boring fight ever! Can I intervene?" Juliet asked, and Adam held her back from interrupting.

"It's funny." Adam chuckled.

Kaz and Oliver slowly fell to the floor, still yelling as Bree came running in.

"Adam! Jules! Chase and Freya were just attacked in the transponder room. Come on!" Bree yelled and ran off.

"What?!" Juliet yelled and followed Bree out of the room.

"Guys, I gotta run," Adam yelled and pointed to Emma. "Frankie, you're in charge. Frankie, keep an eye on Frank and Frank!"

"Me?!" Emma yelled as Adam ran out. She stepped forward and stood in between Kaz and Oliver. "Um....fight?!"

Kaz and Oliver didn't move and Emma silently whined, biting her nails again.

——

~Transponder Room~

"Freya! Chase!" Bree, Juliet, and Cassie yelled as they ran in with Adam, Leo, and Donald. Freya and Chase had just woken up, barely recovering from the powerful energy blasts.

Freya felt weak, when The Incapatatior absorbed her electricity it was like he was stealing her power.

"What happened?" Donald asked them.

"I was showing the transponder to a potential buyer," Chase answered.

"You brought a complete stranger in here?" Donald asked him with shock.

"I tried to warn him!" Freya put her hand up, leaning into Juliet's side and her mother holding her shoulders. "The guy blasted us with some kind of energy force. I tried to attack him, but he just absorbed my energy."

Donald looked around and saw the transponder was missing. "Where's the transponder?"

"He must've taken it," Leo told him.

Cassie sighed. "Great. Chase, what were you thinking?!"

"Oh, I don't know! Maybe Mr. Davenport made a deal without me, so I was going to make a better deal without you!" Chase protested with irritation as everyone was on their feet now, and Freya was still leaning into her sister.

"Well, if your deal was to get you and Freya knocked out and robbed, you did a bang-up job," Adam mentioned, and Juliet whacked his stomach.

"We need to find the guy who did this." Juliet declared.

"It wasn't just some guy. That energy blast wasn't human." Chase informed and touched Freya's arm sympathetically. "It may have messed with Freya's electrokinesis."

Freya looked up at her boyfriend, now leaning toward him and resting against him.

"Okay, then what was he? Bionic? An android?" Adam asked and then gasped. "What if he's an evil spirit from a galaxy far away?! We're no match for a space ghost!"

"It's not a space ghost," Juliet rolled her eyes before she thought for a second. "Wait, could he be?"

"So we don't know who we're dealing with, or what he's capable of," Bree asked.

"Whatever he is capable of, it's strong enough to make me feel like he just stole my power." Freya's breath was shaky, filled with fear. Chase looked down at his girlfriend, feeling guilt rush through him. He once again let his girlfriend get hurt because he let his guard down.

"Cassie and I'll contact the authorities. Get on your mission suits. This guy could still be on the island. Until further notice, everyone's on high alert." Donald explained, and after that, everyone left the room.

——

~Monroe Quarters~

Freya stepped out of her capsule in her mission suit, and held her head, groaning.

Juliet noticed and grabbed her shoulder. "You alright?"

"I don't know. I feel super weak." Freya wearily sighed and tried to form electricity in her hands, but they short-circuited. "I can't even generate electricity."

"Well, just stay close to us, alright?" Juliet suggested and Freya nodded before the sisters left the room.

They went to the training area and saw Bree, Chase, and Leo. Chase went up to Freya, quickly checking her out. He hadn't seen her in her mission suit for months, and it brought a smile to her face.

However, there was a more serious problem at hand. "You feeling alright?"

"I feel weak. I can't generate my electricity," Freya shook her head, still unable to form any sort of electricity in her hands. "He did something to it."

"Can you use any other ability?" Chase asked. Freya glanced at a small weight and used her molecular kinesis to lift it with ease. "Okay, so, your other abilities seem to work. Just use those."

Freya pouted, "But it's my favorite."

"I know," Chase rubbed her hands. "Just be careful."

Freya sighed, leaning into him and he rubbed her back. Once something good happens, something bad always comes and ruins it.

——

~Common Area~

Adam ran into the common area to find Kaz, Oliver, and Emma. Or, Frank, Frank, and Frankie.

"Hey, Franks and Frankie." Adam greeted.

"Howdy, teach. Oh, hey, I've been meaning to ask you. I know I have all the bionics, but if I wanted more of the bionics, where would I go for that?" Kaz asked him and Emma nodded with a big grin.

"Yeah, is there, like, a room or a cubby?" Oliver added.

"Maybe a bionic vending machine?" Emma gasped.

Adam shrugged. "I wish, but no one will listen to me."

Bree, Chase, Freya, Juliet, and Leo walk in, all confused by the three unfamiliar faces.

"Adam, who are they?" Chase asked, holding Freya's hand and she moved closer to him.

"Oh, these are our new students, Frank, Frankie, and um.." Adam stopped at Oliver and laughed. "I forgot the other guy's name."

"Frank. And I really don't know if they are students... I had a feeling before." Juliet stepped forward, eyeing the three teens.

Bree nodded. "Yeah. We don't have any new students."

Adam frowned, looking at the three teens. "We don't? Wait a minute." Adam sniffs Kaz's shirt and gasps. "Aha! I should have known. That's Bob's jelly tuna shirt."

"Not his shirt," Freya gasped too. "Who are you?!"

Oliver sighed. "Look, I can explain everything, but Frankie, you'd probably do a better job, so..."

"Me? I got anxiety, I'll die!" Emma exclaimed backing away.

Leo frowned. "Who are you guys?"

Chase pulled Freya closer, now sensing the danger. "They're intruders!"

Bree grinned, gesturing to Oliver. "Too bad. This one's kinda cute." This got looks from everyone. "As far as intruders go."

"I bet they're with the guy who stole the transponder." Chase walks menacingly toward Kaz, Emma, and Oliver with anger in his voice. "Where is he? Where is the transponder?"

Freya blushed at how protective Chase was being, it as very attractive to her.

Kaz and Oliver stood in front of Emma as the bionic heroes crowded them. Oliver chuckled nervously. "Transponder? No, no, no, no. Kaz was just trying to--"

Adam glared. "Get them!"

"Get away from them."

Everyone turned to find three superheroes. Tecton, Gamma Girl, and Gray Granite are revealed to be across the room.

Emma gasped, rushing over to them, and immediately hugging Tecton.

"Tecton!" Emma beamed.

"Gray Granite, Gamma Girl!" Oliver smiled with relief, him and Kaz joining the heroes.

Adam smiled. "Guys, a surprise costume party? It's not even my birthday!"

"Those are some very impressive costumes," Freya raised her eyebrow.

"What's going on?" Bree asked.

"I don't know," Chase asked, his eyes narrowed with alarm and his arm around Freya, protectively.

"What are you guys doing here?" Oliver asked them.

"We've been tracking the Incapacitator. His infrared energy trail led us here." Tecton explained.

"He's here?" Emma asked them with worry.

Leo laughs, stepping forward. "Look Superboy, I don't know what movie theater your mom thought she was dropping you off at, but you're in the wrong place." Leo starts to absorb energy from a nearby console, as the rest of the bionic heroes grin with amusement.

"But the costumes are amazing," Juliet pointed out.

"He's got energy transference. Just like the Incapacitator." Tecton noticed before he blasted the team with a wall of energy. Kaz, Emma, and Oliver backed away, watching.

"I don't think this is a costume party," Freya mentioned with shock at the powerful blast.

"Oh, yeah? Two can play that game." Adam uses his blast wave against the superheroes.

Kaz grinned. "Yeah, he definitely did not get that out of a vending machine."

"A superhero and bionic hero battle? That's so cool!" Emma giggled.

——

~Mentors Quarters~

Donald was on the phone with the FBI with Cassie, warning them about The Incapacitator.

"I don't know who this guy is, but he's a major threat. Just have everyone at the FBI be on the lookout." As he was talking, The Incapacitator walked into the room, and the two adults turned around and saw the Incapacitator. Donald put an arm in front of Cassie, who gasped at the sight. "You're the guy who attacked Chase and Freya."

"They call me the Incapacitator." The Incapacitator introduced.

Donald frowned. "Really? Is that, like, on your driver's license and everything?"

Cassie sighed, gently touching Donald's arm. "What do you want with the transponder?"

"Right now, I can touch any power source and transfer the energy into my body. The problem is, that energy runs out." These Incapacitator explained.

"Well, have you tried juices? I mean, there's this great kiwi-kale blend, or seaweed and berries. Pineapple-mint..." The Incapacitator suddenly lifts him up by his shirt threatening, and Cassie backs away with shock. Donald groaned. "Okay."

The Incapacitator drops him an Cassie grabs his arm in worry. "Since you've created a way for me to obtain energy wirelessly, I can continuously absorb it from everything around me and never have to recharge."

Donald shrugged. "Well, thanks for explaining how my own technology works. What do you think you're going to do with it?"

"I'm going to drain the entire planet of all its energy and become the most powerful being in the world." The Incapacitator grinned menacingly and beckoned to the case. "Open this case. Now."

Donald glared at him, pushing Cassie back softly. "Never. That's an impenetrable polymer, and the only way into that case is using my retina scan."

Cassie smacked his arm. "Donald!"

The Incapacitator smiles at him, and Donald stammers nervously at his mistake. "I mean, there is no way to get in that case. I don't suppose you're going to give me a running head start, are you?"

The Incapacitator blasted a beam of energy at them, and Donald grabbed Cassie moving her behind the nearby rock.

——

~Common Area~

Adam starts to fight Tecton, Bree and Juliet fight Gamma Girl, and Chase and Freya fight Gray Granite.

Chase slid underneath Gray Granite, dodging his attack. He sat up and formed his Laser Bo as Freya stood on the other side forming her electric whip in her hand.

"Cool, I can use this at least." Freya smiled with relief and used her whip to knock Gray Granite onto his back. Chase hit his laser bo against his Fighting Staff, and Gray Granite rolled onto his feet, and faced Freya. He slashed his staff at her, and Freya used her intangibility to allow it to slice through her body, before forming her whip again and hitting him in the back with it.

Gray Granite got paralyzed for a second, and this gave Chase the chance to attack him with his laser bo. When Chase was open, Gray Granite did a sidekick, and Chase stumbled back into the training area.

Freya slid by Gray Granite and into the training area to check on Chase.

Leo ran up to Gray Granite. "Hey, Crater Face! This one's for you!

Leo throws a laser sphere, but Gray Granite absorbs it with his Fighting Staff with a smirk. Leo rushed forward, throwing a punch and Gray Granite dodged it and hit Leo with his staff, sending him flying.

Oliver gasped as Gray Granite ran into the training area. "Did you see that?"

Kaz laughed. "Yeah. You won't see that in Amsterdam."

"This is the best day of my life!" Emma beamed, shaking Kaz happily.

"Not when I asked you to be my girlfriend?" Kaz asked her, and Emma gave him a gentle smile.

"Sorry..."

Kaz rolled his eyes, and checked his pants, gasping. "Oh, no, okay." He sighed. "I left the wormhole transporter in my pants."

Oliver and Emma shared a look. Oliver nodded. "Okay, we'll come with you, but please, don't ever say that again." Kaz, Emma, and Oliver run out of the room.

Gamma Girl and Juliet start to fight. Juliet slashes her fire whip at Gamma Girl, who blocks is with her gamma manipulation. Juliet superspeeds around Gamma Girl for a few seconds, before Juliet is knocked to the ground by her gamma volt.

Juliet looks up at Gamma Girl and glances at Adam for help. Adam was fighting Tecton.

"Adam! A little help?!"

Adam quickly uses his heat vision to block Gamma Girl's gamma volt. Adam and Tecton start to fight again, and Adam uses his blast wave to knock Tecton into a wall. Tecton recovers, but Adam grabs him and sends Tecton flying across the room.

Bree superspeeds in and kicks Gamma Girl down, which allows Juliet to get up to her feet. Gray Granite almost hits Adam with his Fighting Staff, but Leo quickly takes it from him.

Leo grinned. "Let's see how tough you are without your little stick."

Gray Granite raises his hand and uses his gyrokinesis to bring the Fighting Staff back to him.

Leo's eyes grew in shock. "All right. That's pretty tough."

Gray Granite suddenly crumbles to the ground as a pile of rocks and Chase leaps into the air from the other room. He flies into Adam, sending them both crashing to the ground.

Chase lifted his head up, blinking with confusion. "Okay..."

Freya and Juliet walked over to them, and both laughed.

"That's a beautiful sight to see," Juliet teased.

The monitor turns on, showing Donald and Cassie on the floor in the mentor's quarters in distress.

"Guys, help!" Donald cried and everyone got up.

Leo ran to the monitor. "Big D!"

"Mom!" Freya and Juliet yelled, following with urgency.

"Get up here, quick!" Cassie yelled in panic.

"Who're they?" Tecton asked.

"Our father!" Bree answered.

"And our mother!" Juliet said, gesturing to her and Freya.

The Incapacitator shows up behind Donald, and Freya gasped, recognizing the man.

"It's him!"

Adam frowned. "Who's that?"

"That's the guy who stole the transponder," Chase informed, glancing at Freya, who had just grabbed his arm.

Tecton pointed at the screen. "That's the Incapacitator. Wait, you guys don't work for him?"

Chase shook his head. "No."

"He attacked us before," Freya gestured to her and Chase.

Adam put his hand up. "Well, I am looking for a weekend gig. Is he hiring? "

Juliet put his hand down, "Adam!"

Kaz indicated to the screen. "The Incapacitator is a villain. That's who these guys came to take down." The bionic heroes were confused, and Kaz chuckled. "Oh, right, bionic heroes, superheroes. Superheroes, bionic heroes. I probably should have done that before the battle but I'm so glad I didn't."

"That was amazing!" Emma exclaimed excitedly. "You all are so cool! This would make a great comic book."

"Wait. So you guys are real superheroes?" Leo asked, and the superheroes nodded. Leo got excited and smiled. "Like the ones in the comic books? And on my lunch box?" He quickly regaled his composure and raised his eyebrows. "Which I no longer use."

"You do use it," Juliet smirked, and Leo turned to her with a glare.

"You have Intangibility! I love that kind of power," Emma praised Freya, who smiled back warmly.

"Thanks," Freya chuckled and looked at her Taylor Swift shirt. "I love Taylor Swift!"

"She's my favorite!" Emma giggled, and Freya beamed at her.

Adam went up to Tecton. "Bro, that is so cool. It must be an honor for you to meet me."

"You too?" Tecton questioned with confusion and the two did a bro hug.

Oliver went up to Bree. "Uh, just so you know, I totally would've helped you if I could have."

Bree blushed. "It's okay. You're still cute."

Oliver grinned. "Who, me?"

Bree grabbed his collar, flirting. "Yes, you. Your little red shirt, it's adorable-"

"Let's go, lover girl!" Chase yelled, interrupting them. "We have to go help Mr. Davenport and Cassie!"

Everyone ran off after that.

~Mentors Quarters~

Cassie hid behind a chair as she watched the Incapacitor continue to attack Donald. Cassie couldn't do anything, she was hoping someone who come in and save them.

The Incapacitator shot a laser at Donald's eye, and he groaned. "No! What are you doing?"

"Making my own retina scan." The Incapacitator said and made a copy of Donald's retina. Cassie gasped at the action and rushed over to Donald. He held his eye in pain, and Cassie glared up at The Incapacitator as he opened the Transponder box.

Cassie held Donald, shaking her head at the villain. "You'll never get away with this."

The bionic heroes, the superheroes, Kaz, Emma, and Oliver all ran into the mentors' quarters.

"Don't move, Incapacitator!" Tecton ordered.

Donald frowned at the sight of the superheroes and Kaz, Oliver, and Emma. "Who are they?"

"They're superheroes!" Leo laughed excitedly. "Aah!"

"You're too late, Tecton. I already have what I need to make you and the entire world bow down at my feet!" These Incapacitator announced, holding up the Transponder.

"Take him down!" Tecton ordered.

The Incapacitator forms a green ball of energy around the superheroes, lifts the superheroes up, and throws them out the roof.

"No!" Emma yelled, looking up. She glanced at Kaz and took his hand.

Chase stepped forward, his nostrils flared with anger. "That's it, I got us into this mess. I'm gonna get us out."

"No, Chase, he's too powerful!" Donald protested.

"No!" Freya yelled, trying to intervene, but Adam grabbed her.

Chase hits the Incapacitator with his laser bo but is blasted back onto the floor unconscious.

"Chase!" Freya cried out, immediately rushing to his side with the others behind her. Tears formed in her eyes at the sight of her boyfriend lifeless on the ground, her heart shattering into a million pieces. "Chase..."

The Incapacitator held the transponder in his hands as the others surrounded Chase, worried. "With this transponder, my energy will continue to grow. I've already taken down one of your so-called bionic heroes. Just imagine what I'm going to do to the rest of the world." The Incapacitator laughs and runs away.

Donald checked Chase's pulse. "He's still alive, but he's fading."

"We have to do something!" Freya cried out, her head falling into his chest.

"What do we to do?" Leo asked.

"I don't know. He's fried Chase's entire bionic infrastructure. I don't think I have the equipment here to save him." Donald explained, and Freya lifted her head, her mouth agape.

"We have to save him!" Juliet declared.

Oliver tapped Emma and Kaz's shoulders. "Don't worry. We can."

Emma nodded with a smile.

Donald looked up, confused. "What?"

"I'm Kaz and this is Oliver and Emma. We work at a place called Mighty Med. It's a hospital for superheroes." Kaz introduced, gesturing to his girlfriend and Oliver.

"We deal with this stuff all the time. We can save him." Emma nodded assuringly.

"You can?" Freya asked, her voice shaky, and sitting up with hope in her eyes. Emma gave her a warm nod.

"Big D, we barely know them. Are you really considering this?" Leo reasoned with Donald.

"Trust me, we save heroes' lives every day. I promise you. He'll be fine." Oliver assured them, and the bionic heroes all exchanged looks for a second, unsure what to do.

"I say we trust them. We have to do something," Juliet shrugged, standing up. "They seemed to know those superheroes quite well, and The Incapacitator."

"She's right," Leo nodded.

Bree sighed, turning to her father. "Mr. Davenport, what do we do?"

Donald helped get Chase onto Adam's back, and Freya continued to hold his hand, not breaking her gaze off her boyfriend. "Go. I'm not going to risk his life. Cassie and I will stay here and get the word out about the Incapacitator."

Adam turned to the three teens. "Okay, how are we gonna get him there?"

Kaz put his arm around Emma and touched Freya's hand. "Through a wormhole."

Emma groaned at that. "Again?"

Adam sighed. "I know we're friends, but is now really the time to make fun of Chase's size?"

"Good luck guys," Cassie smiled sympathetically. "We'll be here, thinking of you."

Donald let out a shaky breath, holding his eye in pain. "I don't care what you have to do. Save my son."

Oliver activated the wormhole transporter and it teleported Adam, Bree, Chase, Leo, Emma, Kaz, Freya, Juliet, and Oliver to Mighty Med Hospital.

——

~Training Area~

Donald and Cassie stood center of the training area as the rest of the students sat around them.

"I know you're all upset at what happened here today. But I want you to know that everything's okay." Donald began to explain to the students. He pointed at his eye that had an eyepatch on it. "The patch is only temporary. I'm still beautiful."

Cassie sighed, taking over. "Unfortunately, Chase was seriously injured. Adam, Bree, Freya, Juliet, and Leo took him to a facility where he can get the care he needs. There's no guarantee, but it's the best shot he has."

Donald put a hand on Cassie's shoulder, both making eye contact. Both have the expression of sorrow in their eyes. Donald finished their speech. "For now, all we can do is...hope Chase pulls through."

If you aren't aware, I have a Mighty Med book. However, I just started it, and only at the beginning of season 1. So, there are spoilers for that book in these chapters, like Kaz and Emma dating and Emma having anxiety.
