"Yeah! It goes that in this town there's this cat ghost that only shows it's self during the time of Halloween it's mischievous and always causing problems and scaring people..you only hear it but never see it'

You told your friend that you were visiting before heading off to the little house you rented for the short time you were staying in the town, as you walked through the late evening you were just looking around at how everyone had or was decorating their home for the spooky season...till a soft meow caught your attention, turning. you were faced with a calico cat that was just sitting on a fence. Staring. It's tail flickering every so slightly

"Hm..you weren't there just now.." You mumbled to it before continuing your walk. Shaking off the feeling of being watched

"Finally" you mumbled reaching the house, the sun had now set just the dull light of street lights, only thing keeping the area visible to the eyes..grabbing your keys to enter your house..another meow caught your attention as you quickly turned seeing the same cat from before sitting s good distance away from you. Again just staring.

"Oh, you again. Listen as much as I love animals a stray cat is really not going to be responsibility right now..so shoo! and go bother someone else" you said to it

You weren't sure what made this go South. The fact you said "stray cat" or how your tone of voice was but it really seem to upset..the cat...?

"What the he.." Before your words could fully form a smooth light orange aura surrounded the cat before fading

"...I only wanted to play a game...you seemed fun at first but you're really just plain mean" the cat...well now woman said to you before pouting as slight tears formed in her eyes
