physical strengths°°°
METAL ARM- her left arm was blown off in the incident that killed Kylo. She now has a metal prosthetic that is a reminder of her loss, but also an extremely powerful weapon.
GOOD SENSES/REFLEXES- since she is half blind and had to relearn a lot of her usual day to day activities with a metal arm, her senses and reflexes have almost doubled in efficiency.
QUICK THINKER/SWIFT- she is very quick on her feet and is able to think quickly. She doesn't have a lot of physical strength, but she makes up for it in overwhelming her enemies with speed.
TECH- Valerie is a great mechanic and tech specialist. Even before she had a metal arm, she went to school for mechanics for a few years. She can hack into almost anything and fix almost anything.

physical weaknesses°°°
LEFT EYE- her left eye was severely damaged in the explosion even though her life was saved. She is blind in that eye and while she has made extreme progress in accommodating for that, it still permanently hinders a lot of her fighting abilities.
STOMACH SCAR- the gash on her stomach is relatively recent and can be reopened if she goes through something extremely strenuous or painful.
SCARS- her many scars tend to limit her "blending in" abilities significantly. She isn't good at slipping away quickly because she is easily recognizable once you get a good look at her.
METAL ARM- what is her strength is also an extreme weakness. Without it she's very unbalanced and with it she tends to damage it frequently because she doesn't feel any pain when it is.

personality°°°
Valerie has a fiery attitude and the sharpest tongue on the team. She is very independent and even though she is a subordinate to One, she does what she likes. She respects him and they are close, but her stubbornness is not to be taken lightly. She has a soft side that few get to see, but on a normal day her demeanor is very hot headed and intimidating. She is gorgeous, but terrifying. Once you get to know her you'll realize she's mostly bark and some bite. She means well and she looks out for her team, but don't expect her to be a good person to confide in. She is scary when she is angry and the only people who can stand up to her are One and Six. Things can get ugly with Six, though. She may not be open, but she's extremely blunt. She is egotistical and hates to admit that she's wrong. She cannot tolerate Six on any level. She is a surprisingly good friend, though. Only a certain people can really bring out her good side, but once you do she can be a very fun person. She's adventurous and compassionate when you give her a reason to be. She's very protective and hates anybody disrespecting One or being mean to Four. She may be able to talk back to One, but nobody else can. Another reason she butts heads with Six.

mental weaknesses°°°
KYLO'S DEATH- the death of her friend has severely hurt her willingness to open up and let people help her. After all, Kylo died to save her. A lot of the time she wonders If she's worthy of his sacrifice.
PTSD- seeing her friend die, losing her arm and sight in her eye was very overwhelming for her. She could hardly sleep for a while afterwards and even now she finds it difficult for her mind to completely shut off. Little things will trigger panic attacks, but a lot of the time she'll try and stifle them because she doesn't want anybody worrying, only making them worse.
ANGER ISSUES- once she's angry, it's very hard to get her mind off of what's ticking her off. Especially if said "annoyance" is Six. She will act very irrationally no matter what is making her mad. She can be reckless and ultimately dangerous for herself and those around her.
STUBBORNNESS- once she has her mind set on something there is only a 0.00001% chance that you can change her mind. She hates being wrong and will fight you if you disagree with her. She also likes certain things done certain ways, so she can be hard to work with. She's no push over and will show it every day.

mental strengths°°°
PROBLEM SOLVING- she is quick to act, but when she's not a rage monster she can come up with good plans and courses of action. It's hard to outsmart her.
QUICK THINKING- she's very witty, but just the quickest to respond to her situation in general. Her reflexes are extremely sharp due to this and there are few who are faster than her especially in combat.
FEARLESS- there's a part in your brain called the amygdala that reads your situation and stimulates fear based on what information is in the brain. This particular part of her brain is a bit smaller than most, so it takes more for her to become scared or panicked. However, this means that her panic attacks and ptsd are worse than most. This doesn't mean she can't feel fear, but it does help her think clearer than most.
CODE- especially after Kylo's death, Valerie always tries to follow her "code" so to speak. For example, she always strives to keep her team together and do what is best for them overall. She also tries to "live up to" Kylo's sacrifice for her.
