My name is Clayton Chandler. I enjoy long walks on the beach, a great sunset, and the uplifting genius of Yanni, NSYNC, and Michael Bolton. In my free time, you will find me teaching jazz dance routines to retirees and emailing inspirational phrases to my friends!
Just kidding. As my name suggests, I tend to dwell on the darker end of the creative spectrum, with stories ranging from outright horror to dark fantasy and savage satire. I started my first Vote Your Adventure book several months ago and am now halfway through a sequel. This has quickly become my favorite form of writing because of the insane level of interaction it provides. I love putting the outcome of my story in the hands of readers and watching how they shape both the plot and the characters. There are times when I'm more surprised by the stories than the readers, and I invite you to take control and of your destiny ... until some horrific fate befalls you, of course!

AKA Dirty D. How I came around to get that nickname is pretty simple. It certainly doesn't have anything to do with my hygiene. I am a very open person where sex is concerned and I love me some good smutty stories. That doesn't mean I limit myself only to that though. It's actually very hard for me to pinpoint my favorite genre where reading is concerned. I enjoy anything from silly comedies to horrors, anything with characters who get me to root for them and storyline I can lose myself in. I actually try to avoid reading before going to bed in the evening because if the story grabs me I might end up not going to sleep at all. But again, you can never go wrong with smut.
My writing is another deal entirely. No matter how much I try, not that I try that hard, my writing tends to be dark or at the very least to have a dark undertone. The lightest I ever got is the fun book "Afraid to Laugh" if you read that one, you know it's pretty dark at times as well.
@Choose_Your_Fate_Now is a project I am very excited about. I hope you all will have as much fun as we are!
Though I'm known around these parts for my deeply smutty fanfiction, it's not my only foray into the writing world. I'm kind of a jill-of-all-trades when it comes to writing, because I love to explore new things! My reading preferences are all over the map as well, though if I'm going to binge something it's generally because it has a really badass protagonist and a sexy anti-hero love interest.
What I love about Choose Your Own stories is that it really puts the action in the hands of the reader. I used to read so many of the classic ones in my elementary school library as a kid and I'd bookmark all of the pages so that I could go back to try all of the different choices!
Vote Your Own is an incredibly fun interactive experience because we all get to participate in how the story is going to go. It's impossible not to get invested every week. I can't imagine if the makers of say Riverdale got together every week and went through every #Riverdale tweet and then built the next episode on viewer reaction. That's what it's like participating in these stories, my favourite show guided by our choices. So much fun!
It's going to be so much fun creating a story around our readers own choices! There's far too little of it on Wattpad! Nothing is more aggravating when an OC is making all the wrong decisions! Looking forward to seeing what people are going to do!

It's a matter of life and death between your fave and arch nemesis? Vote for the save of the century. The story changes depending on the choices you make, giving the ultimate tailored experience.
