"Master, are you quite alright?" I ask.

He runs forward and hugs me. My eyes widen. He grips my waist hard. I can see his eyes were swelled up from crying. What is going on?

"Master, what's wrong?" I ask.

"Shut up and just hold me." He sniffs.

I let out a breath. What's going on? I'm sure Lucifer had something to do with this. I nod. I wrap my hands around him. His skin's shaking. Why? He seems startled. He seems in distress. Oh bother. 

"Is everything alright?" I ask him.

"I-I-." He sniffs.

I lift his head up.

"Stop crying, please, you'll ruin your suite." I say

I begin wiping the tears off.

"Did you feel anything?" He asks.

"Pardon?" I ask him.

"When you killed all those people? Did you feel anything?" He asks me.

I let out a breath.

"He told you about my human life, didn't he?" I ask.

Ciel nods. Well, I should've known this would happen. I can't hide things forever.

"Truthfully, I didn't feel anything at first because it was all I knew how to do. Then I felt... saddened." I say.

I remember every face of every man I would kill. I would kill thousands. 

"Why did you agree to the deal?" He asks.

"I thought with immortality I could start a hundred lives over. I wanted to experience a new life. My previous life was nothing much of a life." I answer. 

"Do you regret signing the contract?" He asks.

"No." I say.
