Neither said anything after that as they lay there together in the same position, while taking the time to catch their breaths before sharing another sweet kiss.

Ryu and Mei laid on the bed beneath them underneath the covers, the ravenette lying on top of her lover as they remained connected and close to each other. Despite it being the early morning, neither felt the desire to get out of bed. They laid in a comfortable silence, that was soon broken.

Ryu: ""I love you..."" The ravenette was a bit caught off guard by that as she looked at him. "Remember how I told you that back in Nagazora? Heh... I was only responding to your statement about loving me, Bronya Ame and Kiana but, who would have thought that it would have blossomed into this."

Mei: "Yeah..." She giggled and smiled.

Ryu: "Though, guess this means I have to deal with a screaming Tuna, huh?"

Mei: "Don't worry." She gently cupped his cheeks and stared into his eyes. "I'll take care of her. Despite how she can be, Kiana... really care for not only me, but you as well. She just doesn't know how to show it. But even then... I won't let her scream at you."

Ryu: "Oh? The Princess protecting her Knight this time?"

He lightly joked as he raised an eyebrow and grinned a bit slyly. While Mei blushed, she couldn't help but let out an adorable laugh before she closed her eyes and touched foreheads with him. The sunlight shined through the room's window as the room brightened up and the side of their figures facing away from the window, became covered in a shadow.

Mei: "Hehe... That's exactly it. After all, my heart belongs to you now, my handsome Knight~."
