Welcome to Daejin Academy! Before you dive into the application process and start your journey here, make sure to read through the Basic Rules. These rules are in place to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience and that the academy runs smoothly. Whether you're a seasoned roleplayer or new to applyfics, these rules are essential for your participation in Daejin Academy.

➜ Discord-Based Applyfic

This applyfic is Discord-based, meaning having a Discord account and joining the server is required to participate. All communication, events, tasks, roleplaying, and voting will take place in the official Discord server. Please ensure you have access to Discord and can actively participate in the server to take part in the story.

If you don't have a Discord account, you'll need to create one to apply and interact within the server. It's important that you remain active and engaged within the server, as many aspects of the applyfic will rely on interaction and collaboration with other participants.

➜ Respect the Rules and Other Members

Be Respectful: Treat everyone in the community with kindness and respect. This applies to both in-character and out-of-character interactions. No bullying, harassment, or disrespect will be tolerated.

Keep It Respectful: Since this is a public server, please keep content respectful. Any inappropriate behavior or content will result in immediate action, which may include a warning or removal from the server.
(Censored swearing is okay)

➜ No Spamming or Flooding

Limit Spam: Avoid excessive or irrelevant messages that could flood the server. Keep discussions on-topic and related to the applyfic.

Respect Channels: Each channel has a purpose, so please make sure to post in the correct channel. For example, use the roleplay channels for in-character interactions and the general chat for out-of-character discussions.

➜ Activity and Participation

Stay Active: Inactivity can affect the progression of the story and your participation in house tasks and events. Make sure to check the server regularly for updates, events, and tasks. If you're unable to participate for a while, please notify the System Head or a moderator in advance.

House Tasks and Events: As part of your house, you will be expected to participate in tasks and events. These will be communicated through the Discord server, and each house will have its own channel for collaboration.

➜ Character Behavior and Roleplay Etiquette

Stay In-Character: While interacting in-character (IC), remember to stay true to your character's personality, background, and story. Keep your roleplay engaging, realistic, and fun for everyone.

Out-Of-Character (OOC) Chat: Always use the OOC channels for non-roleplay related conversations. Keep OOC discussions separate from the main story to avoid confusion.

➜ No Godmodding or Powerplaying

No Godmodding: Don't control other people's characters without their permission. This includes making decisions for them or altering their actions.

Powerplaying: Avoid making your character too perfect or invincible. Every character has strengths and weaknesses, and your character's development should be based on realistic challenges and interactions.

➜ House Leadership Election

Voting for House Leaders: After the characters are placed in their houses, each house will vote for its leader. This will be done via the Discord server where active house members can participate in the democratic election process. The leader will help guide the house through events and tasks, but it is important to remember that this position is earned through votes, not assigned by the System Head.

➜ No Faceclaim Changes

Faceclaims Are Final: Once you have selected your faceclaim for your character, you cannot change it after your application is accepted. Please make sure to choose a faceclaim that fits your character's personality and role in the story.

➜ Breaking the Rules

Consequences: If you break any of the rules outlined here, the System Head and the moderators will take action. This may include a warning or removal from the server depending on the severity of the violation. We aim to create a positive and safe environment for everyone, so please follow the rules.
