Nandini came out her house to go market to buy some vegetables and basic necessary items along with Navya.

"Tune list bana li hai na?" Nandini asked as they were nearing the shop.

"Haan didi, chaho toh mummy ko phone laga ke puch lo." Navya said in irritated manner making her sigh.

"Pagal! Bas confirm kar rahi hun. Aise kyun baat karti ho baar baar? Acha chal." They entered the shop and Nandini told the shopkeeper to give the things.

After spending half & hour they moved to buy some vegetables. Since the vegetable market was just 2 shop behind they reached easily.

"Kya kya le didi?" Navya asked looking around.

"Main dekhti hun. Yeh pakad." Nandini gave her the bag, and moved to buy some vegetables. She bought some Tomatoes, french beans, potatoes, bottle guard etc.

After half and hour they reached their house. On their way they met few people who were asking who had come to their place but Nandini just replied they were guest not wanting to publicise anything.

"Maa, yeh lo." They gave the bags and went to freshen up. Nandini came out and settled beside her mother helping her in cooking.

"Acha sun, unka phone aaya tha kya?" Her mother asked stiring some onions in kadai.

"Nahi maa. Aap kyun tension le rahe ho? Agar call karna hoga toh kar lenge call." She said in irritated way because past 2 days her mother is asking the same question.

"Main toh tasalli ke liye puch rahi thi. Huh! Acha tere papa aate hi honge. Chal jaldi jaldi hath chala." Nandini nodded her head started focussing on cooking.

Manik's father entered the house after a very long ride of the bus. His mother was waiting for him.

"Aa gaya tu! Chal muh hath dho le aur chai pi. Bahu! Yeh bahu!" Neonika came out of the kitchen in hurry.

"Jaldi se chai chada gas par."

"Lekin abhi toh aapne pi chai." Neonika said making her glare at her. Mr. Malhotra sighed and went to freshen up.

"Mere liye nahi. Tumhare pati ko jo abhi aaya ghar. Na pani dete hai aur khana vakt par. Pata nahi kya hoga inka." Dadi said making Neonika look down and went back in the kitchen to make the tea hot.

"Sneha...jara yeh dudh dekhna main Manik ke papa ko dekh ke aati hun." Sneha (bhabhi of Manik) bobbed her head and concentrated on the milk. Even for a second you zone out the milk will overflow making dadi furious.

Mr. Malhotra came down and settled on the chair and put on the TV. Soon Neonika came out with tea in 2 cups and served it to her husband and mother-in-law.

"Arey! Sath mein khane ke liye kuch leke nahi aayi kya? Jao. Jaldi leke aao kuch." Dadi said making Neonika sigh and Mr. Malhotra interrupt.

"Rehne do Neonika. Main bas chai pi unga." Bobbibg her head she went inside the kitchen to make dinner. Dadi sighed and started having her tea.

"Acha, beta maine pandit ji se baat kar li hai. 5 mahine baad ka muhurat nikla hai. Aur sagai ka 2 mahine baad." Dadi informed her son making him bob his head.

"Theek hai. Main Sharma's ko bata dunga. Vaise Vivek aur Manik nahi aaye abhi tak?" He asked Neonika who came out to bring something.

"Ji woh Manik aata hi hoga. Vivek ko kuch kaam tha toh woh naha dhokar nikal gaya."

"Theek hai. Main unko call karta hun." Dadi bobbed her head and concentrated on a daily soap drama.

Mr. Malhotra came inside his room and called Sharma's.

Sharmas were having their dinner since it's already 7:30 and they have food early. Nandini's father's phone rang who got up to pick it up.

"Yeh kiska number hai?" He frowned and picked it.

"Hello, kaun bol raha hai?" He asked

"Bhaisab, main Manik ka papa bol raha hun. Kaise hai aap?"

"Oh! Mr. Malhotra, ji hum badhiya hai. Aap log kaise hai?" He asked and listening him Nandini's mom got alert where as Nandini and Navya were silently having food but also concentrating on their talk.

"Ji, hum bhi theek hai. Acha mujhe aapko batana tha ki, maan ne shadi aur sagai ki tarikh niklava li hai. Shadi ki tarikh 5 mahine baad hai aur sagai 2 mahine baad."

Nandini's father was a bit sad but didn't want to say on the face.

"Ji, theek hai. Toh hum taiyariyaan shuru kar denge. Aap log batate rahiyega."

"Ji, acha toh rakhta hun."

"Ji!" They cut the call. Nandini's father came back and settled infront of hus plate.

"Kya kaha unhone? Sab theek hai na?" Nandini's mother asked desperately making Nandini roll her eyes and shake her head.

"Maa, thodi dheeraj rakho na. Papa batayenge." Navya said to which her mother glared at her.

"Arey, unhone shadi aur sagai ki tarikh niklava li hai, yeh batane ke liye call kiya tha." He said making her happy.

"Chalo shukar hai. Dekha aaj hi pucha maine Nandu se aur aaj hi call aa gaya." She said smiling at Nandini who replied

"Maa, aap 2 din se lage ho mere peeche aaj hi nahi." They chuckled except for her mother.

"Woh sab chodiye aur kab hai shadi aur sagai?" She asked to which he told her.

"Lekin yeh kuch kam nahi hai?" She said but he sighed and said he can't do anything.

When Nandini heard about the dates she went silent. She had her food quietly and her parents were busy discussing how they are gonna do and what they are gonna do.

Manik went and lied down on his bed scrolling down the instagram after working whole day. He was busy when his phone pinged with a notification. He opened it to see Navya Sharma requested to follow.

Manik knew who it is and immediately accepted her request and he also requested to follow. Out of nowhere he tapped on following of Navya's account and searched for her name.

Her name was not there but what caught his attention was the dp of fireflies. He had intutions thinking this one might be Nandini. And immediately after 2 minutes again a message came of follow request whom he thought to be Nandini.

He accepted and there came! He was right. She looked beautiful in the jeans. He smiled and requested to follow. Soon he slept knowing tomorrow will be the hecting day of his work.
