(3RD POV)

Today was a... special day. Cedar Wood was on a mission. To find a real-life story that is so dramatic that it sounds like a tall tale.

She was in the woods when she came across Ashleylnn's voice.

"My, what big muscles you have!"

Cedar grinned as made her way to the voice.

"All the better to hug you with" Hunter's voice said.

She appeared behind some bushes and her eyes widened as she saw Hunter and Asheylnn together.

"What a splinter!" She exclaimed as she appeared in between the couple.

"You two are dating!"

Hunter and Asheylnn's eyes widened in surprise at their friend's sudden arrival and quickly looked away from each other.

"What?! No, that's silly, of course, we're not!" She quickly defended."

"Romantic picnic, um, heart-shaped cupcakes?" She asked as she held their linked arms.

"Really you guys? Come on" She asked them

Hunter held a cupcake in his hand.

"These aren't romantic, my... uncle made them"

"What about this?" She asked as she ran up to a tree with their initials carved in a heart.

"Your initials, inside a heart?"

"Oh we didn't do that" Ashleylnn quickly lied.

"Must have bee that...uh" She scanned her location looking for an excuse. She then pointed at a woodpecker.

"Woodpecker! Bad woodpecker!"

The woodpecker burped as it pecked the tree.

Cedar sighed. Despite their horrible lies to try and get her off them, they were still her friends, maybe she could find something even better than this to tell.

She kneeled in between them and placed a hand on their shoulders.

"Look you guys, I won't say a word about your relationship, I promise, I'll guess look for something else" She told them.

Ashelynn smiled in relief.

"Thank you Cedar"

Cedar nodded as she got up and made her deeper into the forest.

Ashlynn and Hunter glanced at each other before smiling sheepishly. Despite their date getting interrupted but at least their secret was safe.

As Cedar walked farther into the forest she began losing hope that she was ever going to find something interesting

That when she heard female giggling.

"Oh Argus, you shouldn't have!" A female voice with a thick German accent spoke.

"Oh nonsense my dear. Besides, I would do anything to see that radiant smile of yours" A charming male English voice told.

Cedar walked up to behind a bush and that's when she saw it.

A boy around her age flying but didn't have wings thought she noticed he was using pixie dust. He had pale skin and auburn hair. He wore out a brown worn out sleeveless vest, navy blue harem pants and

Below him, a female figure sat on the ground on top of a blanket wearing a large white sun hat.

The boy glanced at her revealing his gorgeous ice blue eyes.

He titles his head in confusion then his eyes hold panic in them.

He then floated down near the girl and whispered something in her ear.

Cedar hid behind the bush.

"Cedar, I know it's you. You kan kome out" The German accent voice told her calmly.

Cedar's eyes widen.

Oh no, whoever was the person calling her knew her name but maybe they were friendly?

She took a deep breath in, calming herself before standing up.

She gasped at what she saw. It was Jane. In a dress. It was a long loose floral dress with long bell sleeves with a black ribbon tied around her waist. In all the time Cedar knew of Jane she wasn't one to wear a shirt let alone a dress, so it was very odd to say her wearing one.

"Cedar vhy must you look so shocked? cha it's me Jaane in a dress, now come so I can talk to you" She ordered.

"R-Right" Cedar stuttered before walking up to Jane.

"Please don't kill me!" Cedar exclaimed as she closed her eyes in fear.

The boy and Jane looked at each other confused.

"Kill you? Why would she do that?" The boy asked her.

"Because pirates are vicious people that kill anyone to keep their secret a-and get what they want" Cedar explained to them.

Jan nodded.

"You know vhat? You are correct. Let me get my pistol for you-" Jane goes to turn to revise her weapon but was stopped by the boy.

"She's playing with you, she never brings weapons to a date" He said, trying to calm Cedar.

Jane bit her lips.

"So what brings you to the forest?" He asked her.

"Well my teacher gave me an assignment that I would have to come up with a tall tale but I can't because I'm cursed to not tell a lie but then I found out that Hunter and Ashleylnn were on a date but I promised them that I won't tell because they're my friends and that why I and who are you" Cedar explained in a quickening pace.

"Oh, who am I? I'm Argus Pan, son of Peter Pan" He introduced himself with a large grin.

"Oh, my Grimm. But you and him are- Aren't you two supposed to like, hate each other?!" Cedar questioned them.

Argus wrapped his arm around Jane's shoulder pulling her closer to him.

"Well our father was always at each other throats but me and Jane, we really do care about each other and that all that matters" He softly explained as he placed a quick kiss on her temple causing her to smile and wrap her arms around his waist affectionately.

Jane looked up to Argus, still smiling.

"Despite our father's history together ve hafen't let zat define vhat ve could be together"

Cedar was having a hard time. She could reveal any of her friends' secrets to her class.

Jane saw her classmates in distress and placed her hand on her shoulder.

"Hey don't vorry Cedar if anything I tink I could I could help" Jane told her.

"Really, you can?" Cedar asked hopefully.

"But of course, I can, I just so happen to be friends vith a powerful vitch"

"You want a what now?" Y/n asked.

Currently, Y/n was in her Spells, Hexes and General Witchery classroom when she received a mirror call for Jane.

"A shpell zat vould make someone babble nonsense"

Y/n tapped her nails on her tabletop.

"Well, I know the curse or I could brew a potion" Y/n offered.

"Vhich one von't last so long?"

"I prefer to potion, curses eh not really my style and lucky for you I have a babbling beverage the person just need to drink some goat's milk the person would stop babbling" Y/n explained.

"And if they be lactose intolerance?" Jane asked.

"That sounds like a you problem. The milk would wear off the magic but your body would react when in contact with the lactose. And who is this potion for? You have yet told me who this is for" Y/n questioned Jane.  

"It's fer Cedar, she needs a story fer Jack B Nibble's class but she can't lie or use that comely wench imagination t' make up a story so she found me and Argus on a date and that be such a scandalous story so she can't be tellin' anyone about it so that's why we need th' babblin' beverage t' keep that comely wench from tellin' th' class" 

Y/n sighed and got up for her seat, so much for doing her homework. 

"I'll be there as soon as I can"

Cedar, Jane and Argus stood waiting for Y/n in silence. 

Eager to break the silence, Cedar began asking questions. 

"So how long have you two begin dating?" She asked. 

Jane stared at her coldly while Argus smiled.

"That's no none of your business" 

"A full year now" 

They both looked at each other. 

Jane turned to face he boyfriend, who nervously smiled down at his girlfriend. 

Cedar smiled at the couple and noticed the height difference, Jane was 5'5 and Argus was 5'9. 

A crow landed next to Cedar and cawed at her making her scream and ran to hid behind Jane and Argus.

"No need to worry, it's Y/n" Argus reassured her. 

"Y/n is not a bird..." She stopped in the sentence as the crow was surrounded by gold magic before transforming into Y/n, who wore a grin as she spread her wing. 

"Well, I part bird because my mother was born a bird before she turned into human" Y/n explained as she walked up to them.

There she handed her a potion with a blue liquid in it. 

"This is the Babbling Beverage, once you drink some you can't help but talk nonsense the only way to get rid of the effect is by driving goat's milk"

"Oh wow! Thank you so much!" Cedar said as she hugged Y/n, whose nose crinkled as she gentle patted her on her shoulder.

Cedar pulled away from the hug, smiling.

"I don't know how to thank you enough, Y/n" 

Y/n smiled.

"Just don't tell anyone Jane secret" 

Cedar nodded.

"I can't thank you enough Y/n"

Y/n smiled.

"Just keep Jane's secret and that would make me very happy" She told her.

Cedar nodded.

"Well, bye you guys and so sorry for interpreting your date Jane" 

With Cedar left, well the three friends.

"So are all your friends this nosy?" Argus asked.

"We don't have friends, we have classmates and yes some of them are noisy" Jane told him. 

He hummed.

"Thank Grimm I don't go to this school. Anyway, Y/n would you like to join us?"  Argus asked her, teasingly.

She rolled her eyes.

"Please stop reminding me that I'm single and I'm always third-wheeling you two" She asked. 

"Well enjoy the rest of your date you two" Y/n told them before flying off. 

Do you know what I like about Jane and Y/n's relationship?

No, but your gonna tell me anyway.

They always have each others back, when Jane need something Y/n's there to help. Talk about best friend goals!

But is Jane going to be there for Y/n when she needs help?

What of course she is! But Y/n is a more do it by herself girl. But when she does need help, I'm sure Jane would help.
