It was the weekend and I was in my room sitting on my bed with my new typewriter with Jane dramatically opened the door.

"Y/n! Today is der day!!" She spoke.

I looked up to see her walk in with a brown bag in her hand as she walked over towards my bed with a grin on her face. 

I began to wonder what was she going on about.

"You mean today is the opening of Ashlynn's new shoe store?" I asked.

"zat's not important. Today my macaw should be hatching. So in preparation, I ahsked Hopper to lend me so flies and other ahnd other insects" She explained as she took out as I just a jar filled with insects.

I stared at it, feeling disturbed. 

I glance up at Jane.

"Ve are going to be great parents, yes?"

I place my hand on my chest.

"We?" 

She smiled and sat at the edge of my bed. 

"But of course, I can't do it by myself. please y/n, I promise I'll make it up to you" She tried to persuade me. 

I raise an eyebrow.

"Oh really? And how will you replay me?" 

Jane paused for a moment before sighing. 

"Fine, I'll help you vhenefer you need help taking care of der Enchanted Forest ahnd lend you my black card" She offered.

Jane's black card was a credit card that she said that have infinity money which I genuinely believe so, considering who her mother was. The fact that she was going to led me it tells me she trusts me a lot. 

"You? Lend me your treasure? What kind of joke is that? No, what kind of pirate lends someone their treasure?"

"Look do want it or not?" She asked again, sounding irritated now. 

Before I could answer I heard something. It was faint but it was there.

"Do you hear that?"  I asked Jane.

"Hear vhat?" 

There it was. that sound again. This time it was...like small tweets.

I turned my head to where the egg was in the incubator on the table near Jane's bed.

I got up from my bed and made it towards the desk. 

Not only was the chirping getting loud but as I peaked in the incubator I noticed the egg start to move. 

A smile came to my face at the sight. 

Jane anciently bumped into my wings as she made her way to watch.

"Sorry" She apologized and rubbed my wing. 

Jane picked up the egg in her hand as we watched it hatch from the egg. 

"Vell aren't zey a fighter" Jane commented as the bird struggled out of the egg. 

"They sure are" I agreed. 

Once the bird was out it chipped louder than ever. 

"Must be hungry" I stated as I used my magic to pull a chest underneath my bed and levitate in front of me.  

I opened it and used my magic to take the items out of the chest.

"Efery time you use your magic it nefer fails to amaze me" Jane

I glanced at her with a confused expression. 

"You're amazed by this? Jane" I turned to focus back on the chest with a smirk. 

"You haven't real magic as yet" 

That when I found what I was looking for. A dropper. Once I had found it I placed all the items back and the chest when back underneath me bed. 

"Ahnd vhat is zat for?" Jane curiously asked. 

"To make a formula for the bird, Jane" I told her as I took out my MirrorPhone and texted my mother to ask what do baby birds eat and giggled at the reason. 

"Vhat's so funny?" 

"My mother's response to what do baby birds eat"

"Oh? Ahnd it vas?" 

"'The food that the mother chews up, Y/n, duh'" 

Jane began to snicker.

"I mean, she is not wrong" 

I smiled as I placed my MirrorPhone in my pocket and became to walk towards the window. 

As I stood on the window ledge I turned around to see Jane staring at me. 

I sighed and leaned against the wall. 

"Relax this isn't the first time I'm jumping off from the window besides, I'm just going to town to find Ashelynn or even Hunter to find out what baby bird needs to eat also I could get some ingredient for positions, I'm running low on them" I said out loud.

"Sure oh ahnd before you go" Jane said as she took something out of her pocket and walked up to me and handed it to me.

It was her black card. 

I leaned down a bit to take it from her.

"Zank you for doing ziss for me Y/n, you really are der best" 

I smiled. 

"Of course. After all, you are my best friend forever after"
