"Your highness!" I say entering the palace. 

He was in a meeting with the council members. I probably should have knocked. Everyone looked at me. I do a slight bow. 

"What is it, Jin Ziya? I hope you know that you are disrupting a very important council meeting." The Emperor said. 

"Aku. She has broken free. The seal has broken, and her entire army of demons is coming to swallow us in fire." I say. 

Silence fell. Some lady who was serving tea fainted and the glass shattered. 

"Are you sure?" He asked. 

"Positively." Sudashi said entering.

The emperor let out a breath.

"We must prepare for the attack. Set up the entire palace and the village. Get every guard to their post. Get everyone to safety." The Emperor ordered. 

"Yes, your highness." A council member said. 

"That will not stop her." I say. 

"Do not lecture me, Jin Ziya. You could've solved this long ago. But you failed." He spat. 

He's right. I did. I should've killed her that day not imprison her. 

"He did his best." Alloria said coming in. 

Everyone gasped when they saw her. Council members and servants started to bow. The Emperor looked shocked. 

"I am sorry Jin Ziya it seems you have not failed after all." The Emperor said. 

"I sure hope not." I say.
