I walk to the bathing room. I put my arm and the rest of my body in. The waters were warm. It was like a cave. I needed to take my mind off of what the demon said. Aku, I hate that name. If Aku breaks free from her prison she will wage war and most likely, try to kill me. 

I rub my arm. I let out a breath. The water was soothing and helped relax my mind. 

"Can I join you?" Taio asked. 

I nod. He walks in. 

"What did that wolf meant by Aku and you having history?" He asked. 

"It was never a three eyed serpent that I fought. It was a fiery phoenix named Aku. 75 years ago, her and her fire demons broke free from my great grandfathers imprison. She sought to burn the world. I managed to stop her, but not without almost killing myself." I say standing up.

"I can see your bodies riddled with scars and burns." Taio said. 

"As you can imagine, fighting a phoenix will leave burns."

We sat in the water for some time.

"Who else knows of this?"

"Just the King and you."

"Why keep it a secret?" 

"The King told me so. He said that if people were shown the Pheonix, panic would spread."

"I suppose that is true. Some tea?" Taio asked. 

"Thank you." I say taking it.
