The door slammed open as a bluenette barged in with the gracefulness of a doe.

"Marinette, care to explain why you're late again?" Mlle Bustier asked with an unamused smile. Marinette rested her bag in the doorway, preparing to give a reason for being late. Unfortunately, a tardy blonde sped toward the classroom, tripping over the said bag and collapsing unto the unsuspecting teen.

Now, this collision caught the attention of their peers as they gawked at the tardy teens.

"Adrien? Why are you late as well?" Mlle Bustier asked, a little impatient to finish her lesson.

"Good Morning, Mlle Bustier, sorry, there was a sentimonster attack nearby and the road leading to the school was blocked, my bodyguard had to travel the opposite way," Adrien explained, his words were correct, however, he left out the fact that he was Chat Noir in the middle.

"Oh, Adrikins!! That must have felt horrible!!" Chloé" wailed as many students murmured in agreement.

"Don't worry Chloé, Ladybug, and Chat Noir were there to help us."

"And you, Marinette?"

"Well... Uh -" Marinette was interrupted by a large man, knocking on the wall with a cheerful expression.

"Ah, Principal Damocles, is it already time for the announcement?" Mlle Bustier asked, allowing Adrien and Marinette to sit in their seats.

Principal Damocles nodded in agreement before walking in with a laptop. Once in the middle of the classroom, he pulled down the white screen as it showed the title.

~Dress Up As Your Mother's Profession~

"Ahem, exactly as you see here, there was an incident in the staff room, all the important school files for this week are missing... So I have decided for you to dress up as your mother's profession, as an appreciation to them."

"You must come, or else there will be punishment according." Mlle Bustier continued, they explained what needed to be done for the rest of the week.

Do I really need to go? Adrien questioned.

"Uh, Mlle Bustier, what about me? My mother died when I was young. Do I need to dress up as her profession?" Alíx asked, Adrien, surprised, faced towards the back where Alíx was.

"Oh. Well, you would still have to come, it's okay if your mother doesn't come since they do have their jobs." Mr. Damocles explained.

"Don't worry Alíx, you can dress up like me if that's the case. We've known each other long enough for that, right?" Mlle Bustier exclaimed with a smile.

"I guess."

Her words were like lavender, easing his worries about being the only student in class without their mother. Besides Alíx. However, the feeling was temporary as he was reminded of his mother's luminous smile.

It was after school, and the courtyard was filled with buzz about tomorrow. Adrien was at the stairs waiting for his bodyguard, while Nino attempted to raise his spirits.

"Come on, dude, think of it like this. Extra food from the buffet table." Nino explained as a small smile echoed on Adrien's face.

"You sound exactly like a glutton, I know." Adrien chuckled. However, the bright moment didn't last long as he noticed Lila a distance away talking to kids from another class.

"Well, my mother is busy with her job as a reporter, but I'm sure she'll come," Lila announced to the kids from Mlle Mandelieve Class.

"But what if she doesn't come?"

"Then I'll spend the day with Adrien. His mother isn't around after mysteriously disappearing one day, as his friend I can't leave him alone."

"Awe, you're so kind, Lila!"

"Poor Adrien though, I feel sorry for him." The student sighed as others agreed, even those who weren't part of the conversation.

"Really? I thought I was one of a kind dude!" Nino cried as he feigned hurt. Oblivious to the new rumor whirlpooling in the school.

"... You are Nino..." Adrien murmured. Wishing to go and rest after what he heard.

"Hm?" Nino noticed his pal's change in tone and was about to question him but was stopped by a familiar car horn.

"Sorry, Nino. I have to go, see you tomorrow." Adrien said with a smile that didn't reach his voice.

Adrien was a few streets away from his house as he raised the plastic wall in the limousine.

"Hey Kiddo, are you okay?" Plagg asked, zooming in front of his holder's face.

"Not really Plagg. It barely has been a day, yet rumors have filled the school about me." Adrien sighed, leaning on the window. Plagg stayed quiet, listening to his holder as he ranted.

"...Why only me? I'm not saying I want others to be talked about behind their backs, but... Why talk about me? What makes my mother's disappearance different from those who live with their dad only?" Adrien asked as Plagg gulped.

"Well... I guess you can say the difference is your social status, kid. Everyone is just normal civilians, but you're a famous model. Most people would pay more attention to the popular one." Plagg explained, resting his nub on Adrien's golden hair.

"The popular one, huh? I guess that makes sense. I should tell Father about tomorrow! Maybe Nathalie could come with me!!" Adrien exclaimed as the information sunk in.

"Yeah, Nathalie is like a mother figure to you, correct?" Plagg asked.

"Yeah-" Adrien was interrupted by a rough grunt. The black wall slid down as Gorilla gestured towards the Mansion in front.

"Oh, we're here already?"

𝓐 𝓜𝓸𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻'𝓼 𝓔𝓶𝓫𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓮

A stiff knock was heard through the office as Gabriel looked up from his work tablet. Looking at the time, he sighed before pulling out a file from his drawer.

Adrien gulped, standing next to Gorilla with a nervous expression. Would Father be upset I came here?- His thoughts were interrupted when Gabriel called him into his office.

"Good afternoon, Father." Adrien greeted, waving off Gorilla and entering his father's bureau.

"I am well aware that your schedule is free today, Adrien, but that doesn't mean you can enter my office during work hours." His voice was sharp as Adrien bowed his head.

"I understand, Father, but I wanted to let you know that there is a school event tomorrow, and I was wondering if Nathalie can attend with me? It's mandatory." Adrien asked, looking at his Father.

Gabriel paused what he was doing to look at his son, which Adrien saw as a sign of approval before he opened his mouth.

"And what is this event about? Does it require her to move about? You know Nathalie isn't feeling her best." Gabriel stared at his son. Adrien's happy expression soon weakened as he replied.

"You wouldn't need to worry. She would only need to walk around a bit. Most of her time will be sitting down." Gabriel nodded before asking another question.

"The event, Adrien. I do not like asking questions more than twice. So, what is the event about?" Gabriel asked. However, Adrien didn't respond. Gabriel waited for a bit more, but Adrien kept quiet.

As Gabriel was about to dismiss him. A notification appeared on his email from the school. Wanting to know if this was the reason his son became mute all of a sudden. Although he wasn't prepared for what he saw as the title.

~Dress Up As Your Mother's Profession~

Slamming his fist onto his desk, he looked at his son with betrayal in his eyes. Adrien flinched at his Father's sudden bout of emotion, looking at him wearily.

"Adrien, Nathalie would not be attending your school event, so forget about that idea." Gabriel declared with a stern voice. Adrien looked up, shocked before turning around with a depressing aura.

"Yes, Father..."

𝓐 𝓜𝓸𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻'𝓼 𝓔𝓶𝓫𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓮

Adrien flopped onto his bed as his father's words echoed on.

"Forget about it, huh?" Adrien murmured. Holding his pillow to his chest. Plagg hovered overhead with an upset expression.

"Hey, kid. At least you tried? Your father is quite like a Roquefort." Plagg exclaimed before heading towards his cheese stash.

"PL-PLAGG!!" Adrien yelled.

"You can't call my father pungent!!" Adrien exclaimed with an upset expression.

"Wait, was that how you took it?" Plagg questioned. Adrien was about to pounce on his kawmi but was stopped by his cell phone ringtone.

"I'm not finished with you." Adrien warned, answering the phone.

"Yeah, you aren't."

"Hello?" Adrien answered. There wasn't a reply, but he could tell someone was there based on their breathing.

"I think you have the wrong number... Alya?" Adrien questioned, looking at his contacts. He placed the phone on the speaker, confused.

Did her little sisters take the phone?

"Good afternoon, Adrien! This is Marifret- ah! Marinette here!! Mon Dieu Alya, why did you do this to me?!" He smiled at the familiar voice before changing his mouth in confusion.

"Good Afternoon Marinette, you are on speaker. And why are you with Alya's phone?" He questioned.

"Oh! Well, I... heard from Nino earlier that you seemed down in the dumps. So I called to tell you, you can fret! Wait, don't fret!! Erm, I.. Maman!! Maman wouldn't mind having you with us tomorrow if you have no one to stand by you." Adrien listened intently to the word vomit before smiling at her offer.

Rolling so his belly lay on the bed, he smiled at the idea of standing with Sabine as a substitute mother. She did take care of him whenever he visited, and she's so kind to him as Chat as well.

"That's so kind of you, Marinette," Adrien whispered with a subtle grin.

"No problem, I don't mind."

Once Marinette had said that, Alya soon interrupted, saying that she had to call Nino before the phone call ended.

"So, I guess it all worked out in the end?" Plagg asked as Adrien smiled. The thought of burying his kawmi was long forgotten.

𝓐 𝓜𝓸𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻'𝓼 𝓔𝓶𝓫𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓮

There was a massive uproar in Mlle Bustier's class as Marinette entered with an outfit identical to her mother's but in her color palette.

"Marinette at school? Early?! Who is this?!" Alpha gasped.

"Hey, Als."

"Hey girl, hello Sabine." Alya greeted with a smile before the chef hat slid on her face.

"Ugh, this is impossible to stay in one place. Marinette. Do you have any hairpins?" Alya asked her bestie.

"Of course, I do, Als. Here." Marinette giggled as Sabine helped Alya put her hair in a bun.

The mothers were in a corner talking to one another as Adrien walked into the room with a lively step. Behind him was no one, as Marinette realized that he had come alone.

"Hey, Adrien!!" Marietta called out as his attention focused on her. He dusted his white pants, dashing towards her side.

"Good Morning Marinette, good morning, Ms. Dupain Cheng." Adrien greeted as he rested his bag on the desk. Sabine smiled at his manners before greeting him as well.

"You can call me Sabine."

"Oh, okay, Sabine," Adrien said with a smile. His eyes soon caught Alya talking to Nathaniel and Alíx before widening.

"Woah, Alya's mom is a chef?" He said flabbergasted.

"I thought you knew? Alya's mom is the same person who judged my uncle's soup." Marinette's explained as Adrien's eyes widened in understanding.

With Alíx and Nathaniel. They were currently being teased for wearing similar outfits, representing Mlle Bustier.

"Oh, whatever, I did this so Bustier would feel happy. I'm going to change into my mom's clothes, you should be impressed I actually came. Next time, I'll ditch." Alíx grumbled, picking up her bag.

"What's with her?" Alya asked, confused.

"She just embarrassed," Nathaniel answered.

"I can still hear you!!"

"... I'm sorry Nathaniel, I was teasing you guys, but I didn't know your mother had died as well," Alya said with a sullen expression. Nathaniel stayed tight-lipped as it became even more difficult to explain that Mlle Bustier was his mother.

"..."

Alíx snorted at the situation before passing Adrienette towards the bathroom.

"I think Alya was teasing them. I hope she doesn't do that to us." Adrien exclaimed as Marinette flinched. She had already got most of the teasing yesterday due to the phone call.

"Erm, where is Nino? I thought he would have been here already." Marinette changed the topic as Sabine giggled, turning to face Caline, who was beside her.

"He texted me earlier. He said that he'd be a little late since his mom has to fix her piercings..."

"..." Marinette stared blankly at the screen. Adrien chuckled at her actions.

"I had the same reaction when I read it."

"Marinette? Adrien? Hello!!" A cheerful voice echoed behind them as the secret duo faced the caller.

"Hello, Rose!!" They chorused, Marinette blushing afterward.

"Um, Rose? That's a weird-looking outfit..." Marinette sweatdropped as Adrien stared at the two females behind her.

"Um, Rose, who are they?" Adrien asked, greeting the adults.

"Oh! They're my moms!!" Rose replied with a smile.

But they both look the same? Marinette's question as Adrien got a similar vibe as his Mother and Aunt Amilie. He gave a weak smile at the two before looking down.

"Ah, you must be confused, well... My Daddy accidentally married my Mummy's identical twin. However, when he knew that, he married my mummy and I was born!! My mummy didn't have enough breast milk, so I needed to use her sister's milk, which made her my milk Mom! Although she was originally my Mom since my Daddy didn't divorce her." Rose explained.

But it only confused the two more. Sabine smiled before greeting the mothers. Soon, nearly everyone was there, including Nino, whose attire caused Alya to stay on the floor for at least three minutes.

𝓐 𝓜𝓸𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻'𝓼 𝓔𝓶𝓫𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓮

Adrien was currently sitting with Marinette and Sabine as he smiled for a picture at the open photo booth. After the camera had flashed, Adrien was confused as to why they were so many eyes on him.

Wait, no, it seemed as if they were looking behind him...

"Ahem, may I have my son back?" Adrien's eyes widened as he heard the familiar voice, a voice he always heard at home.

Turning around, his eyes met the platinum blond hair, which soon lowered to the white office dress. And a beige jacket. A snort left his nose as Adrien felt like laughing.

"This couldn't be true..." Adrien doubted.

But... the evidence was right there in front of him.

The room was silent as Nino felt the urge not to breathe. Not wanting to offset the tension.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"...Father?" Adrien blurted as a tear escaped his eye. A few bouts of laughter evaded his mouth defense as he laughed. Laughed at the situation in which his father was standing before him in a dress. Everyone was still silent cause the information hadn't sunk in.

Gabriel Agreste was crossdressing.

"No, Adrien, I'm your mother for today. An Agreste isn't allowed to be talked bad behind their backs," Gabriel spoke, holding his son close. Adrien could have smelled the familiar perfume his mother used to use.

"Mom..." Adrien whispered before silently crying in his father's embrace.

"Pffkkrfftt-" Nino covered his mouth to stop laughing.

"Wow~ Damama Agreste is better at wearing makeup than me," Alya announced, which made a few others laugh.

Hello everyone!! Happy April Fools Day, I was planning on writing this during Mother's Day, but I changed my mind.

I hope my miraculous family enjoyed this. It took longer to write since I had muscle pain from Acrobatics.

I hope you enjoyed it,
