"let's go" liatu said as we high fived each other. i got back on defense holding cass. liv dribbled the ball down court and passed it to kate who dribbled it but it bounced off her foot.

i eyed it ran to it me and liv both trying to get to it. i jumped up and dived for it ngl ts hurt but i got the ball and that's all that matters.

"OHH YEAHH HANNAH" liatu and kylee yelled hyping me up. coach blew her whistle making us look over at her.

"good hustle hannah and liv." coach said making us smile at her.

"i really do appreciate the hustle hannah but let's not dive for the ball like that cus you could get seriously hurt and ionc about no basketball enough" coach said making me laugh and nod.

"good job" they said high fiving me.

"you good ? you literally superman dived for that ball no sarcasm" kate said making me giggle.

"yeah im good" i said.

"yeah you better than me cus i would have never. ain't that much love for that ball in the world to make me dive like that" liatu said making me laugh.

"good job" sonni said as i high fived her and cass.

"thanks sonni" i said.

afterwards we moved on to offensive plays. and ofc me and liv on the same team. just my dang luck even tho we on the same team in real games being at practice is my way of avoiding her.

i ran down court as maddy grabbed the rebound she passed it to liv OFC lol definitely not surprised and saw it coming & she dribbled down court.

looking at the defense i cut to the basket and liv passed it but i missed the pass making it go out of bound. i sighed and huffed shaking my head.

"hannah what's going on ?? it's like you and liv do not connect" coach said.

"idk" i mumbled wiping my face.

"well i mean if she actually communicated we would be able to connect" liv said.

"communicate for what ?? ion have to be in your face 24/7 olivia" i said.

"cus you been acting bitter asf for almost a week now we i haven't done sh** to you. and if i did you to childish to talk to me about ts."

"we on the same d*** team but we don't look like it. we gone get on that court for this game and look a f*cking mess cus you won't put yo pride to side and speak bro" she said.

"okay both of yall stop" coach said.

"do i need to lock yall in a room for yall to talk ?" kylee asked.

"that's her, i've tried everything to get this girl to talk to me but nah she wanna be petty. knowing it's affecting our chemistry" liv said.

"cus there's nothing wrong with me i keep telling yall that. im not allowed to have off days ? just because im always happy and always smiling don't mean ion go through sh**" hannah said.

"well hannah how about you take today off and get your mind right" coach said.

"but i-

"hannah. please don't argue with me. obviously your head is full so you need to go clear it & since you're the one who's been acting off towards liv it's best if you take a day" she said.

i shook my head and watched as everyone looked at me with concerned looks on their faces. i looked over at liv who shook her head.

"good f*cking going olivia. thanks a lot" i said.

"how's it my fault you won't talk to me ?? maybe if you stop being petty and be willing to talk ts out we wouldn't be in this situation" she said back.

"whatever. i really do hope your happy olivia" i said bumping her shoulder as i walked to the locker room.

"so guys liv and i went to see a scary movies cus im tryna get over my fears how did i do livvy ?" maddy asked as i sat down at my locker.

"oh lord i just know she cut up" kylee said making us laugh. a few seconds later hannah walked in. her head was low and she was wearing her beats.

"i hope she's okay now" emma said.

"hey girl, you okay ?" cass asked making her look up. she took off her beats.

"im okay. ready to practice" she said with a smile showing her pearly white teeth.

"goodie!" kate said.

"but how did i do ?" maddy asked making me look at her.

"i give you a 7/10 cus i had to drag her in there cus she chickened out. and then when it first started she would grab my shirt and hide"

"but towards the middle she was really into it and she loved it by the end" i said.

"GO ME" maddy said proudly as she clapped.

"yay now we can actually watch a scary movie at the next team bonding" leah said.

"did she sleep in her own bed ?" kk asked.

"she did actually which surprised me i was expecting her to come get in mine cus she was scared" i said laughing lightly.

"hey now don't dtm" maddy said.

"hannah coach said she need to talk to you" michaela said sticking her head in the door.

"you got this girl" cass said patting her back. she got up and stared at me before walking out the door.

"omg" i said laughing as i shook my head.

"what the heck does she have against liv ?" sonni asked.

"idk bro and tbh ts is finna drive me insane. like you're mad at me cus apparently i did something and you won't tell me and now it's ruining our chemistry on the court cus you to stubborn to communicate with me" i said.

a few minutes later she came back but she was crying. she said nothing and she grabbed her stuff.

"omg no hannah why are you crying ?" liatu said.

she shook her head wiping her tears. after getting her stuff she walked out of the locker room making us looked at each other confused.

"let's go" coach said loudly.

"lord have mercy" kate said shaking her head.

"nun finna crashout at the moment cus what are we posed to do with this ?" leah said.

"omg my poor bestie" cass mumbled sighing as she shook her head.

i shook my head and rubbed my forehead. we've always been so close and she never had a problem coming to me if something was wrong so ionk what changed.

grace rarely ever cries so seeing her cry really made me sad. i have no idea what i did to her and her not talking to me is really getting to me atp.
