Read a minimum of five chapters.
You can't properly tell if a book is good or not without getting past the first few chapters.

Don't lollygag.
You can start judging even when your category isn't full, just be prepared to judge the rest when they come in.

Don't disappear.
These authors are counting on you, if you commit, commit.
