POV:Nyx
  BEEP BEEP BEEP...BE- "Ughhh.." I groan as I hit the snooze button on my alarm clock. It was 7:00 AM. 'Perfect' i thought as I rolled my eyes. 'I'm late!' I got up from my bed and walked over to my closet. I grabbed a light purple corset dress with off the shoulder sleeves.

(This is what it looks like, and remember this isn't in the 2000's) 'Hm, this looks good enough.' I thought as I change into it. I walk over to my mirror and grab my brush. I start brushing my hair and going through the tangles. 'OW!' I said in my mind.

    'That hurt..' I finish brushing my hair and put the brush down. I grab my perfume that smells like lavenders and spray it on me. I put some pink lipstick on and some foundation under my eyes to cover up my eye bags. I would put it on my whole face but can't because of my freckles. I finally put my blonde hair into an half up half down hairstyle. To finish it off I put a clip in it.

     I grab my keys and head out to the pathway through the woods. I always went this way because I love the scenery of it. All the blooming flowers and the cherry blossom trees throughout it. I can't help but smile while looking at it.

     Springs probably my favorite season of them all. I just love the fresh air and the plants. Plus there's not very many bees around here. Well..at-least that I don't see. I mean there's probably a few.

     I get to the end of the pathway and see town not to far. I walk over there and start heading over to my shop. I hate how crowded this place can get. I hate crowded places. Finally I make it to my shop and unlock the doors. I walk over to the freezers and put more ice in.

    Wouldn't want the fish to go bad..I see some customers walk in a few seconds later. I go to the register and wait for them to buy what they want. I watch as they pick out the items they want.

     They walk over to me and put down the stuff they got. I see what they have and they picked out some worms for fishing bait, flour, sugar,eggs and milk. "Ok that'll be 33.76$ sir." I tell him looking up at him from the register. He hands me the money and walks out the store with his son.

   I put the money in the cash register and go to restock some food. I put some more ditos chips on the shelf, and some sprint on the shelf right next to the chips. 'Huh, I wonder what sprint tastes like..I heard it was some kind of soda...' I think as I return to the cash register.

     10 minutes later two kids and an adult walk in. The children run over to the fishing section of the store. While the mom was chuckling behind them walking a bit behind them. The kids look at all of the stuff and gasp as they look at it.

   They run around the aisle as they look at everything there. They can't seem to decide what to get. Until the mom speaks up "now remember kids you only have a budget of 30$ ok?" The kids turn to their mom and throw a tantrum

   "Ah- ah, keep doing that and your not getting anything! You hear me?!" The mom started yelling at the kids. The two little boys go silent and look down. "We're sorry mama..we won't do it again..." they spoke at the same time.

     The mom smiled at them and nodded. They then went over to the fish rods and grabbed matching ones. The mom went and grabbed bait. She and the two little boys walked over to me. The mom gestured to the kids to put the stuff on the counter as she put the bait on.

   They put the fishing rods on the counter and I rang them up. "Your total is 24.89$ ma'am." I say smiling at her. She hands we the money and I put their stuff in a bag. She grabs it and they walk out of the store.

~•TIME SKIP•~

     After serving a few more customers it was finally lunch time. "Omg I've been waiting for this" I say as I dig into my turkey and cheese sandwich. It tasted sooo god. "I haven't had food for like four hours.." I complained. "That is wayyy to long." I groan. I take another bite of my sandwich.

     I finish the sandwich and move on to my salad. I put the ranch dressing on it and mix it up. I grab my fork and start to eat my salad. 'Mm so yummy' I think as I eat it. My lunch could never have been better.

  At last lunch was over and I had to go back to my shift. I throw away my plate and fork in the trash as I close the door to the room. I walk over and flip my sign to |OPEN|. Some people walk in about 13 minutes later.

   They ended up buying some food and a can of bait. They walked out as new customers came in. They looked around a bit before buying some gloves for fishing.

     "Okay your total is 31.59$" the two middle-aged men hand me the cash and walk out the door. I sigh as I'm already tired from working so long. I look at the clock on the wall and take a deep breath.

     "Okay Nyx, you only got 2 hours left on your shift. You can do this!"I say to myself hyping me up. 'I got this!' I stretch my arms and back and get ready for the next customer.

     A man with a black leather jacket and black boots came in with a smug expression. He looked around suspiciously before grabbing a bottle of lotion and a box of tissues..? Eh I shouldn't judge.

     He walked over to me and put his stuff down. "Hey beautiful, just this~" he flirted with me. I rolled my eyes. "Back off gru looking boy!"I say to him ringing his items up. "Woah sweetie, calm down I'm not gonna hurt you.." he says with a deep voice

   "378.99$ is your total" I say. He stiffens as he gets up from his position. "WHAT?!" He screams. "Pay up boy" I taunt him smirking on the inside. "Ugh..fine" he groans as he gives me the cash.

    He walk out mumbling incoherent words. Little did he know his total was actually 12.99$ instead. That's my little secret though..

  I open up my register and look at all the cash and cents I got. I grab all of it and count it all. 469.23$ wow! Not bad for one day. That's not bad at all!

  I was about to walk to the opening doors and close shop until somebody walked in. It was a teenager. "Hi..sorry did I come in too late.?" He said nervous.

     "No! Not at all!" I say putting the cash aside and opening the cash register again. I smile at him and he blushes a bit from embarrassment.

     He still smiles back though. I look him up and down and he has light brown hair, sky blue eyes,a hoodie and jeans. Not gonna lie he has good taste.

   He grabs a stuffed animal bear and walks up to me. He puts it down on the counter and takes out a few crumpled dollar bills. "T-this is for my little sister.." he says shyly. He tried to hand me the money but I refuse it.

   "Here take it for free." I say calmly. Putting the money into his hand and closing it. He looks shocked for a second before calming down. I swear I could see a faint blush but I was probably hallucinating.

     After a few seconds he grabs the bear and puts the money into his pocket. He shakes his head while walking away.

    I put the money I got into a wad of money and put it in my bag. I walk over to the sign at the front of the shop and flip the sign. Now it read as |CLOSED| on the outside. I walk outside and close the door locking it.

"What an eventful day" I say sighing as I walk off
