The Rager.
Attired in gloomy British racing green, tight-fitting jeans with black converses and a brown long sleeved Henley shirt stood Alvaro. In a grand, dazzling room, the amber lights illuminated the chancellor's room or that's what he assumed it was called.
Sabrina and Caliban were on their honeymoon, whilst Morgana, Lillith and Lucifer were touring the nine circles. Apparently the two thought it was best to start training their daughter to see if she could rule.
While the Morningstars were away, some indiscretions and arguments had broke out amongst the demons, and Alvaro took it on himself to sort it out. It had been two weeks since he started, and most if not all indiscretions had been resolved or fixed.
They had now came to the matter of the sinners that arrived in Hell and their punishments "What about the vampires?"
"What about them?" Alvaro questioned.
"Hardly any of them come here, in the short period of their deaths. We should be allowed to torture them," Beelzebub said in his usual sneer "They come to Hell to be punished, we should be allowed to do so."
Alvaro's brows furrowed "Didn't Lord Lucifer allow you to do so?"
"Yes, but since the half-blood took the throne," Asmodeus answered with a growl "we are limited to ways of torture."
"Heaven, the half-blood will be having us bore the sinners to death!" Another demon said.
Alvaro's gaze flickered to and from each and everyone of them, as some agreed and complained over the fact that they weren't allowed to force the werewolves to feel the pain of the full moon repeatedly or, how Sabrina had banned the rule of roasting witches alive until their death.
It seemed that the demons wanted to be more brutal with their victims, some were crying out new ideas of torture and malice. While others were demanding that they have the old ways back.
"Now, now gentlemen." The Mikaelson called, silencing the group gathered around the grand table "I'm aware you can't physically torture the...sinners. May I suggest a other way?" He looked over them "Psychologically. If any of you were to use that, you can torment your victim to insanity."
He eyed the group, he could see their minds turning "I once knew a lad, who had left his only friend to die in a fire, he turned his humanity off but...I compelled him to relive it over and over again. It drove to the point where, he could hardly consume food, drink and lost the ability to walk. Because his mind was to busy, trying to shut off the memory."
He placed his hands on the table, leaning forward scanning over the group "There are thousands if not millions down here, each have a regret from life above. Wether it be murder, or adultery, the regret is still there." He japped his finger tips into the wood "You have to grab the regret and rub it in their faces, mock and taunt them until the wound is reopened. Then all you do is treat it like rubbing salt into a paper cut."
The demons murmured to themselves, glancing at the Mikaelson as they discussed his words. Alvaro was finding it hard to believe if he was winning them over, but they kept coming back to him, but he knew that was because non of the Morningstars were present.
"Any objections or opinions?" No-one made a sound "Very well, anymore business to attend to?" He raised his brows.
"Ah, now." Beelzebub started "There is the matter of the Original Witch."
Alvaro's insides hardened "Yes."
"Although she created the vampire race, many of us feel that for the crime of trying to end a race that has provided countless souls for us, she should be given a fate worse than the one, the heavenly brat Christ suffered or Pontius Pilate."
The Mikaelson opened his mouth, words escaping him before narrowing his eyes "Do you all share this feeling?"
Many nodded and humed in agreement causing him to nod with acknowledgement "Right, okay. If I'm correctly informed, the third circle has a special chamber inside?"
"Yes." Asmodeus nodded "It constantly has fire as hot as seven suns put together, blowing through it. While eight spikes are plunged into the victim inside, before slowly pulled out, only to have the process repeated."
"Whilst their burnt alive." Alvaro said in a dull somberly tone, he liked the idea. He looked up from the table "Does the idea of the Original Witch being placed inside there, sound just to you?"
"Yes!" Many cried.
Alvaro nodded before declaring in a clear voice "Esther Mikaelson is sentenced to the third circle for nine thousand years, and shall be starved for eighteen thousand more."
The demons clapped and shouted crys of joy.
"Unless there is anything else," he said "let's call it a day gentleman."
The hordes agreed nodded, some bowed whilst others gave their gratitude verbally, others even took the Mikaelson by the hand. Beelzebub bowed his head after shaking Alvaro's hand before leaving the room.
Alvaro tuned, eyes briefly drifting to the floor only to look up to witness Lucifer walking out of the shadows, a almost proud look on his face whilst the Mikaelson kept his face natural with cautious eyes.
"Just how much of that did you hear?"
"Enough." Lucifer smirked, eyeing him smugly "You have quite the gift there."
"Well," he shrugged "I sparked the pirate revolution in Nassau back in the 1700s." He arched an eyebrow "Why are you so pleased anyway?"
The Morningstar blinked, a mischievous glint in his eye as he avoided the question "I see your winning the hordes over, by the way your going...you'll have the army following you."
Alvaro's head jolted upwards lightly, a blank look in his eyes "I'm not the one they should be backing, Morgana is."
The Morningstar smiled before pointing at him "And that's way I like you better than my son-in-law. Instead of wanting the throne, you'll defend it, but-" he walked around him, the Mikaelson turned and watched as he made his way to the chair at the head of the table "-I suspect that at the end of the day. You'll have my first born on the throne."
Alvaro simply strided towards the table, the two never breaking eye-contact as his finger tips grazed the oak "We're aligned in that, we both want Morgana on the throne, her ruling the realm. I find myself wondering, wondering why I never asked you when I had the chance."
He straightened his posture, holding his head high "So I ask you; Why did you push Sabrina towards the throne? Morgana's the oldest, the most powerful and she's proved herself time and time, and time again of being your daughter."
Lucifer scanned his face "I always knew she was capable, these last two weeks have proved that she is beyond capable. And I pushed Sabrina to the throne because, I wanted my daughter to be happy." He glanced at table, before meeting Alvaro's gaze "But I was overjoyed."
"About what?" He questioned.
"Ever since Lillith introduced our daughter to the hordes, they have been turning to her side. Even the Kings," he looked at the Mikaelson determinedly "I believe you, yourself aware that even the clay 'prince' of Hell backs her claim. But we both know he's driven by his greed."
Alvaro narrowed his eyes, searching Lucifer's eyes for anything suggesting that he was lying, it seemed. Perhaps he wasn't. Alvaro went to turn when he spoke again.
"Although, there was one thing I didn't see coming or counted on." Lucifer narrowed his eyes "Do you know what that is?"
Alvaro kept his gaze on the amber lights blazing through the windows, before he carried on. But what he next said, shocked him.
"I never thought my daughter would love a Mikaelson, much less that Mikaelson being you." Alvaro's head span round, eyes wide "I have only one piece of advice to you, Alvaro. Don't make the same mistakes I did."
The Original didn't make a sound, he kept the Morningstar's gaze before turning, heading towards the door only to stop when Lucifer spoke one last time "I'd also make amends with your brother, both of you are as broken as they come. But don't lose that brotherly bond over one passing squabble."
With that Alvaro left the room, Lucifer's words imprinted in his mind as he strolled through the corridors, he turned a corner and halted at the sight of Morgana. She and another female demon were locked in a conversation.
He leaned against the wall on his side, eyes peeled on the Morningstar, a indescribable uplifting feeling bubbled at his insides as he watched the two talk. From what he gathered they were discussing the subject of the false god and Lucifer, it seemed Morgana wanted to know more about her parents' past.
His spell of admiration was broken by his phone, he pulled it out, a overcasted frown molded his features at the contact name. But Lucifer's words rang though his mind. Alvaro sighed before tapping the answer button.
"Yes?" He placed the phone to his ear.
"Hello brother."
"Klaus." He drew out.
"I think it's time we speak, how does killing the newest hunter in town sound to you?"
Alvaro narrowed both his eyebrows and eyes "Your still in that awful town?"
"The hunter's been killing my hybrids, with him gone. The dying breed lives on and the sooner Mystic Falls is a thing of the past. So, brother?"
Alvaro said nothing, just hung up on his brother.
Lucifer was still sat at the head of the table when the Mikaelson bursted inside, he sat back raising his brows in question.
"I have one thing to ask of you."
Damon stood outside of the hospital, waiting for Klaus to show. He scanned the erea, it had been quiet on the Originals' front. Since Esther's vampire vampire hunter, Kol and Rebekah had left town, Elijah and Alvaro soon after.
But Rebekah had made an appearance, she had taken to tormenting his brother and friends in school, and Klaus was back to protect Tyler, much to both the hybrid and Original's displeasure.
"It's about time, Klaus." He gave him a pointed look as he just smirked.
"On the contrary Damon, we're waiting on young Jeremy. To lead the hunter here."
Klaus turned moving to the side as the sound of Hell fire reached his ears, Damon watched mouth slightly open as orange flames circled upwards into the air only to disappear to reveal Alvaro.
The Salvatore blinked, yep that image was going to take a very long time to erase from his memory. His attention was brought back by the Mikaelson beside him.
"Brother." Klaus smiled brightfully.
Damon glanced between the two dumbfounded as Alvaro, who's head was now tlited simply raised both eyebrows unimpressed with his brother.
"Klaus." Alvaro shifted his eyes to the younger vampire "Damon. It's seems my brother failed to mention you were involved."
"Well actually," the blue eyes vampire, spoke with fear for the first time "it was my plan to kill the hunter, he just invited himself."
"He's always done that, he also daggers siblings for no apparent reason too." He shot the hybrid a harsh look.
Klaus rolled his eyes annoyed, at least his brother had calmed down.
"So," Alvaro looked towards Damon "What are we are we harbouring in our den for the hunter to find?"
"Baby Gilbert is leading him into our trap, and as for what we're harbouring..." He looked between the blonde and tall brunette "..we've got the two most powerful vampires in the world."
Alvaro observed from the shadows as the hunter followed Meredith into their trap, for a hunter this one was quite stupid. But Alvaro had always been the hunter, Damon stood on show waiting.
"Is a hospital really the best place for a germaphobe?" The tan skinned man asked.
"Did I say that I was a germaphobe?" Damon chuckled, smirking "Pftt, sorry. I meant vampire."
The mortal tried to shoot the Salvatore, but Klaus beat him to it, the oldest Mikaelson shoot arrows connecting to bombs into his sides. Before speeding to Damon's right as the Salvatore teased "Stings, doesn't it?"
"Hello mate." Klaus smirked.
The hunter bended down to pick up his gun, but Alvaro sped in front of him before kicking it into the air, and grabbing. He turned to face the hunter with a hard glare.
"Her'd of me?" He tlited his head, from Damon's left as all three of the vampires stared him down.
"Keep it up, buddy." The Salvatore warned as the hunter tried but failed to pull out the arrows "We'll be scrapping you of ceiling."
"You three are gonna kill me, anyway." He spat.
"Let's not be hasty now," Klaus smirked, holding his hands together before himself as his brother side-glared at him "I feel like we're just getting to know each other."
"Let's start with the basics." Damon carried "Where are you from? What do you know? Maybe you can cue me in on this 'greater evil'. Because I've fought this guy-" he pointed his thumb at Klaus "-and am terrorized by this guy-" he pointed at Alvaro, who glared venomously at him "-and there's nothing in the world that's more evil than that." He smirked.
"Yeah, truth be told-" Klaus smirked as he took the letter the Salvatore offered him "-We're as evil as it gets. But I will admit, my little brother here is a lot worse."
"I'm not telling you anything. And if you think if you kill me, it's gonna be over, there's another waiting to take my place."
"See this is what I like to hear; vague threats, ominous prophecies, disappearing tattoos." Damon listed off.
Alvaro's head turned "Whot?"
Klaus's smirk dropped, both Mikealsons recognized the description from somewhere. Klaus stared down at the hunter "What do you mean disappearing tattoos?"
"Don't bother," the Salvatore dismissed "you can't see the damn things."
Alvaro narrowed his eyes as he kneeled before the hunter "There's more to the moke than meet's the eye," suspicion swirled in his orbs "isn't there, laddie?"
The hunter looked him in the eyes, before attempting to stake him. But the Mikaelson was quicker, he caught his arm standing on his feet again.
"Nice try," he growled "but I'm faster than your average vampire." He twisted the hunter's arm and pulled the stake out of his hand, he looked down at it "Whot."
Klaus went to his brother's side and peered at the stake "Whot." They both regconized it.
"You're one of the five." Klaus mumbled.
"Whot." Alvaro said in disbelief.
"One of the what?" Damon asked with furrowed brows.
"And I'm faster than your average hunter." The man smirked.
Damon sped out of there, when he saw the hunter about to trigger the bombs, Alvaro and Klaus turned towards the hunter just as the room exploded.
Alvaro grabbed his brother's jacket, and orange flames swirled from the ground and comused them, the two fires collided with each other as the two Originals teleported.
"It's not possible." Klaus uttered as he and his brother appeared in the Mikaelson Mansion.
"Apparently not." Alvaro countered grimly.
"Not that," Klaus made a swirling motion with his hand, referring to the fact that his brother teleported them away.
"Oh. That." He shrugged him off "Temporary Satanic blessing from Lucifer." Klaus gave an confused eyebrow "Well I had to there somehow. But as you were saying it's not possible."
"Well the physical evidence states otherwise." Klaus argued, before a thought came to his mind.
His brother groaned at the look in his eyes "You're not? Oh, you are aren't you?"
"Brother," Klaus stepped forward, tilting his head as he gazed pleadingly "would you take me to Hell...please?"
Alvaro turned his head slightly, putting his hand to his ear, narrowing his eyes as he scrunched his eyebrows "Sorry. I didn't quite catch that. What was it?"
Klaus rolled his eyes, slightly agitated "Please, brother."
Alvaro's head swayed side to side lightly before raising his forearms upwards lazily, making the same hellish fire swirl around them.
Klaus marvelled at the golden walls as he and Alvaro strided towards the throne-room "Just how long have you been down here for?"
"A month for me, two days for you." Alvaro simply answered, as they came to the balcony, he gave his a long glance as Alvaro stared down below, he peered down to see Morgana sat on the throne.
The two brothers watched as the hordes of Hell bowed deeply to their friend before leaving. Morgana stood from the throne, strolled forward lazily before turning, and smirking up at the two.
"Hello boys."
Klaus didn't miss the smirk that crowned Alvaro's lips, before leaning forward and calling over the railing "How does having some fun sound to you, luv?"
"Like a marvellous blessing."
"Of course it does, I'm involved."
She rolled her eyes jokingly before glancing between the two "Finally made amends?"
Klaus turned to Alvaro hopefully.
"Meh." The brunette shrugged, he wasn't all together sure yet, whether he had forgiven or was ready to forgive Klaus.
Together, Morgana, Alvaro and Klaus rescued the hunter from the explosion, and they retired to the Mikaelson Mansion.
Morgana and Alvaro were in Alvaro's room, the Morningstar sat on the bed whilst he paced back and forth. Alvaro had explained who the Five were, and the situation Klaus had found himself in, they both knew Klaus would use this opportunity.
"But how can you be sure," she questioned, referring to the living hunter downstairs "that they weren't just hiding."
Alvaro stopped and gazed at her, declaring grimly "Because I'm the one who killed them. Killed them all."
_____
What song makes you think of Morgana and Alvaro, both individually and together?
By the way, out of curiosity, but did anyone else want Stefan and Damon to run into Marcel, when they went to New Orleans to figure out Elena's sire bond, or was it just me?
