Rose
"What do you want?"
Morgana's eyes fluttered open. She groaned as she looked around to see she was lieing on a sofa next to Elena.
"What do you want?" Elena questioned.
Morgana glared venomously at the man who was removing her bounds.
"Please, my sister's hurt." Elena spoke again.
Morgana held up her wrist before herself to see a deep, long, bleeding cut. She furrowed her brows wondering how she had managed that.
"I know, just a taste." The man smirked.
He learned forward towards her neck with his vampire face revealed.
"Light as a feather, stiff as a board." Morgana chanted "light as a feather, stiff as a board."
The man was pulled backwards. Away from the Morningstar and strung up in the air. His hands went to his neck. Clawing at an non-existing rope.
"Trevor!" A woman scolded "Control yourself."
"Buzz kill." Trevor choked out.
The woman looked at Morgana pleadingly.
The Morningstar scrowled before nodding at the vampire man. Trevor fell face first on to the floor.
He choked before stumbling out of the room.
"What do you want from us?"
"Oh, you look just like her." The woman stated staring at the doppelganger.
"But I'm not Katherine. My name's Elena Gilbert. You don't need to do this."
"I know who you are, I want you to be quiet!"
"What do you want?" Elena questioned again.
The woman slapped Elena. So hard that she flew backwards on to the sofa unconscious.
"So," Morgana smiled sarcastically "My name's Morgana, you are?"
"Rose, you're a witch." She stated as Morgana pulled off her mask.
"Yes," she stood up and stretched her arms "But not the kind your use to."
"That was a strange spell you used. It wasn't in any other language."
"Hm, not all of our spells are."
After Rose left the room. Morgana grabbed her bag from the sofa and pulled a pair of black skinny jeans out.
She slipped them on before undoing her hair.
She cracked her neck before starting to look around the house.
"Elijah's old school. If he accepts our deal we're free." Morgana listened in.
She jumped when she saw her. Elena winced after accidentally made one of the floorboards creak.
"You! There's nothing around for miles. If you think your able to escape, you're very tragically wrong." Rose remarked.
"Who's Elijah?" Elena questioned.
"He's your worst nightmare." Morgana narrowed her eyes.
"Why are we here?" Elena asked as they followed Rose into another room.
"You keep asking me questions like I intend to answer them."
"Why won't you?"
"Not helping." Morgana remarked.
"I personally want nothing, we're just the delivery service."
"To Elijah?" Morgana inquired.
"Two points to the smart one." Rose chuckled.
"Who is he? Is he a vampire?"
"He's one of the vampires, The Originals."
Morgana arched an eyebrow. She remembered her father explained how the vampires came to be.
"I know of them. A hundred years back, a friend tried to set me up with Stefan. She said he was one of the good ones, but I'm one for the bad boys though." Rose said.
Morgana listened with narrowed eyes as she looked inbetween Elena and Rose. She had noticed that Elena was just itching to ask her about her magic.
"What do you mean I'm the key? The moonstone is what breaks the curse."
"No," Rose shaked her head "the moonstone is what binds it, the sacrifice is what breaks it."
Morgana picked up one of the boards and hung it against the window. She was sick of hearing what she already knew.
"Captivity has made her pushy, eh? What do you want to know doppelicious?" Trevor questioned as he strolled in.
"Who are you running from?"
"The Originals, she said that before." Morgana cut in annoyed with Elena's repeating questions "her inquiry is, what do ya mean by that?"
"The first family. The old world. Rose- correction I pissed them off. Rose had my back and for over half a millennium, the wanted us dead." He explained.
Morgana recalled the tale her father told her. She looked up breaking from her thoughts.
"Which is why we're not going to make the same mistake twice." Rose said.
Morgana hmed "I'm here as collateral damage."
Rose nodded.
Morgana nodded before strutting towards the door unaffected. She sat down on the sofa as Elena joined her.
Elena poked her. She looked at her with a raised eyebrow before Elena showed her a piece of paper.
'Stefan and Damon are coming for you and Morgana -B'
Morgana nodded before snacking the paper and shoved it into her mouth.
Elena looked at confused and disgusted.
'Getting rid of evidence.' Morgana mouthed.
"He's here!" Trevor exclaimed as he ran
down the stairs into the room "this was a mistake."
Morgana and Elena looked at each before looking back at the vampires.
"I can't do this. You give them to him, he'll have mercy on you."
"What are we?" Rose inquired rhetorically.
"Family, forever." Trevor said as someone knocked on the door.
"You're scared." Elena noted as Morgana uncrossded her legs.
"Stay with them and don't make a sound." Rose ordered before leaving.
Elena stood when Rose and a man entered the room. The man sped towards Elena and sniffed her neck.
"Human, it's impossible." He smiled "Hello there."
Suddenly a loud caw rang out through the house. Everyone looked around confused and alert. A black familiar crow came flying into the room and zoned on to the man.
"Ahh!" He groweled as the crow pecked and clawed at him.
Morgana jumped up "Stolas! Stop it!"
Stolas flew on to her shoulder "Forgive me, Madame. But I am under the Dark Lord's orders."
The man turned his gaze to Morgana before looking at the crow.
"The Dark Lord?" He questioned the bird.
"There are people much worse than yourself, sir." Stolas stated.
"I'm Elijah," Elijah looked at Morgana "Who are you?"
"Morgana." She said keeping his eye.
"Hm, circling sea." He said before turning to the vampires "One last piece of business before we leave."
"I've waited so long for this day, Elijah," the Original walked towards Trevor "I'm truly, very sorry."
"Your apologises aren't necessary. "
"Yes, it is. You trusted me with Katerina and I failed you. But." Trevor walked towards Morgana "Her blood is astonishingly irresistible, consider-"
"Light as a feather, stiff as a board." The Morningstar chanted.
Elijah watched amazed as Trevor strung up into the air at lightening speed.
"Seriously, thought I was collateral damage." She arched an eyebrow "Explodere Centena Millia!"
Elena and Rose screamed as Trevor exploded. Blood and skin went flying everywhere.
Elena had had it. She turned to Morgana.
"Since when have you known?"
"Since the nightmares and letter from my birth parents, after that all I had to do was sneak around like a tomcat and listen." She arched an eyebrow sinisterly "You haven't exactly been discrete.
"Rose," They turned to Elijah "You are free."
"What about the moonstone?" Elena questioned quickly.
"What do you know about the moonstone?"
"I can help you get it."
Morgana rolled her eyes as she tuned out the pitiful conversation.
Morgana was pulled out of her thoughts when Elijah grabbed her by the arm and pulled the Morningstar and doppelganger into the hall.
Something supernatural ran around the group.
"Up here!" Stefan shouted invisible.
Elijah shuffed Elena to Rose and let Morgana go. Before speeding up the stairs.
"Down here!" Damon called.
An arrow shot into Elijah's hand.
Morgana was pulled away from the hall by Damon into his hiding spot.
"Excuse me," Elijah begun "To who it may concern, you're making a great mistake if you think that you can beat me. You can't." The sound of wood breaking began "I want the girl and the witch-" Damon looked at Morgana confused as Morgana grabbed Stolas stopping him from going to attack Elijah "I'm going to count to three or heads will roll. Do we understand each other?"
Damon disappeared and Morgana stood out from the hiding spot.
Just in time to see Stefan throw a weapon and rushed at Elijah. They rolled down the saircase on to the floor. The Original stood immediately and went to Stefan but Damon appeared and staked Elijah to the door.
Morgana let go of Stolas after muttering a thank you to him. The crow flew out of the house.
Morgana watched the familiar go solemnly.
"You really?" Stefan questioned the Morningstar.
"I'll find my way home. I just need to think."
Elena nodded understanding.
Morgana sat against the wall thinking. It was growing dark and Elijah was beginning to come back to the living.
"I'll do it." Morgana said not noticing Elijah's grey vains disappeare.
Elijah looked at Morgana subtly confused at what she was saying.
"I'll sign your book."
"Very well, met me in the woods in Mystic Falls. Where the story began seventeen years ago."
Elijah shivered at the raspy voice that whispered from all around the room.
