Friday Night Bites.
A rich chocolate haired woman chanted as she rapped black leather string around a goat voodoo doll. The wind picked up. Her eyes flickered to the fire as it roared upwards. She placed the doll down.
The door opened. The smell of freshly lit matches flew into the house as heavy hooves stumped through the doorway.
The real-life version of the doll stood before the woman.
"Why have you called me here," The Dark Lord's raspy voice spoke "Lillith?"
"Stolas has found our daughter." Lillith revealed.
The Dark Lord raised his head surprised.
The two being sat in armchairs in front of the fireplace.
"Where does she resided now?" The Dark Lord inquired.
"Mystic Falls, she's living with the mortals called Gilbert," Lillith replied "But she's having 'Nightmares' and a wiccan witch has seen the moment we....parted ways with her."
"Is the witch aware of who we are?"
Lillith shook her head "No."
"Hm," The Dark Lord looked at the fire "her subconscious is being to remind her of who she is."
"Stolas tells me, she reflects, acts and is a lot like us," Lillith informed "She challenges authority lot like-''
"Me."
"Yes,"
"Dark Lord," The two turned to Stolas "If I may. The vampires are returning to Mystic Falls and it seems the young Morningstar may be forced into the middle."
"Keep a eye on her, familiar," The Dark Lord ordered "Protect her, and if she's hurt, kill the ones responsible."
"Good morning, Bonnie, Mr Salvatore. " Morgana greeted as she passed her sister and her friends.
"Morgana." Bonnie smiled.
"Hello, Ms Gilbert." Stefan nodded in respect.
The 17 year old dressed in dark baggy blue shirt as well as black high heeled boots and ripped leggings nodded before strolling away with Stolas following after her.
"Miss Gilbert?" Tanner asked.
"Which one?" Morgana inquired with a grin.
"Elena." He scrowled "Pearl Harbour?"
"Um...er.."
"December 7, 1941." Stefan saved her.
"Thank you, Miss Gilbert." Mr Tanner snarled.
"Anytime," Stefan smiled sarcastically as Morgana raised an eyebrow.
"Well, The fall of Berlin wall?"
"1989, I am good with dates."
"Really? How good though? Let's keep it to the year. Civil Rights Act."
"Nineteen sixty-four."
"John F. Kennedy assassination."
"Nineteen sixty-three."
"Martin Luther King."
"Nineteen sixty-eight." Morgana beat Stefan to the punch.
Tanner turned his gaze to Morgana "Lincoln?"
"Eighteen sixty-five." Morgana replied.
"Roe vs-"
"Nineteen seventy-three."
"Brown vs Board. The battle of Gettysburg. Korean war."
"Nineteen fifty-four. Eighteen sixty-three. Nineteen fifty to nineteen fifty-three." The second eldest Gilbert listed boredly like she was telling everyone the weather.
"Ha! It ended in '52." Tanner grinned as she just raised her eyebrows.
"No, it wer'n't. It was nineteen fifty-three, it's written down in ink."
"She's right, sir." Stefan agreed.
Tanner glared venomously at the two of them. In response Stefan just looked at him unaffected as Morgana grinned sinisterly.
"Look it up, one of you."
"It was nineteen....fifty-three." A random kid answered.
Tanner scrowled.
"Hey," Elena poked at her sister "Where did you get all that from?"
"Books," she whispered leaning in front on the side ''History buff, remember?"
After school Morgana strolled through the streets towards Sheila Bennett's house.
"Hello Morgana," Sheila smiled after opening the door.
"Hello Sheila," the woman smiled as she pulled out a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine from her backpack "I brought you some gifts."
"You spoil me," The Bennett shook her head with disapproval as she stepped aside "And please call me Grams."
Morgana smiled as she walked though the door and made her way to the sofa.
She placed down her bag.
"So," Sheila smiled as she sat down next to her "What brings you here child?"
"Other than to see you." She smiled sheepishly.
"Yes," she looked as she looked away "You know how since my sixteenth birthday birthday. I've been having these nightmares."
She looked at Sheila who nodded for her to continue "Since I turned seventeen, they've been getting worse. The night before yesterday I-"
"Take your time child."
Morgana gulped breathlessly "I dreamt that I was standing in a unfamiliar woods. I could only see four things. The colours red, orange and yellow. And a tree. But out of nowhere, this huge goat stood on it's hind legs broke it's way out of the tree trunk before walking towards me."
"And then what?"
"I woke up screaming. Screaming so loud that one of the windows broke."
Sheila sighed "What else? Did you hear anything?"
Morgana nodded "Fire."
Sheila hmed before getting up and walking to the stairs.
"What?" Morgana questioned curiously watching as she returned holding a black book.
"From what I can tell, your subconscious is trying to tell you something." She explained as she sat beside her.
"About what?"
"Something about yourself probably." Sheila held out the book to her "But from the sounds of the window, I think your a witch."
"Like you and Bonnie?" Morgana questioned curiously.
Sheila nodded "Yes, but not the same kind. You come from a kind that is not bound to nature. Your kind descends from Lillith."
"Lillith?" Morgana arched an eyebrow.
"Lillith is the first woman, the first wife of Adam." Sheila explained "She's also the first witch to."
Morgana listened intrigued greatly.
"Many of your kind worship Satan, because he believes in freedom and equality. They call him The Dark Lord."
"Do you know anymore, Grams?" Morgana asked.
Sheila shook her head "No, but that-" she pointed to the book in the Gilbert's hands "is their bible, I got from a old friend years ago."
"Your friend is like me?" Morgana said.
"Was. As anything else strange happened?"
"No," she shook her head "A crow has been sticking with me ever since yesterday."
Sheila nodded "Be careful child."
Before the fall.
Before he fell and gained the title Dark Lord, Satan was known as the Archangel Lucifer Morningstar. The light bringer.
A dark brown haired woman stood cradling a baby in her arms.
"I hope you forgive me for doing this, in the future." The woman's green eyes filled with tears.
"Remember, you will always have freedom and free will. Do not let anyone belittled you. And never let them control you." She layed the baby on the floor in front of the door and set an envelope next to the child "I will always love you, my little demon."
The woman sniffled "Oh, when will the world learn. Women should rule everything."
Morgana's eyes moved under her eyelids as she whimperd.
Morgana was now stood in a nursery. She furrowed her eyebrows before walking towards the wooden crib.
She gasped sharply when the goat thing appeared.
The Dark Lord walked to the crib and caressed the baby's cheek lightly with a long nail.
"Forgive me, for tearing you away from me and your mother but I can't have the false god knowing that you exist. Not yet." A raspy voice spoke "Remember you are bound by no one. Never let the mortals pollute your beliefs or of our kind. Remember your father loves you no matter the wrong doings or arguments that are to come."
Morgana looked in the crib to see a baby with short black hair and light bluish greenish eyes staring at the goat.
Morgana breathed in deeply as she awoke. She blinked before looking down at the page of the satanic bible she had been reading.
She sighed.
