TOO SICK
JILIX
REQUESTED BY : SUNGSHINEZ
_______________________________________________________
it was a lovely day outside, but if you were to look inside the house of han jisung, oh boy you'd be in for a ride. his house was a mess, dark and gloomy, for said male had caught a virus which made him bedridden for a good couple days.
felix didn't know that jisung, his best friend, was so ill that he was bedridden. well, he knew now, because he was standing in the middle of a cold, messy, dark living room that was usually warm, clean, and bright, because jisung would be playing his video games there.
"uh, jisung?" felix called out, gaining no response. he tried again, a bit louder, and still no response. jisung knew something was up, and to be quite frank, he was petrified because he didn't know if something had happened to said boy.
the lilac haired boy walked up the stairs and turned right, landing himself in front of jisung's bedroom door. expecting the worst, he opened the door with his eyes closed. he didn't open them until he heard a soft, "lixie?" from his best friend.
felix turned his head and found his sungie pale as can be, laying in his bed with his covers up to his chin.
"oh my god, jisung, don't ever scare me like that!" felix groaned whilst holding back a smile.
"well I'm sorry, I can't help the fact that I'm sick as fuck and can barely speak." jisung snapped back, also holding back a smile, his voice deathly scratchy.
"would you like some honey ginger tea? you sound like nails on a chalkboard." felix suggested, since he knew that ginger tea mixed with loads of honey worked wonders when people were sick. his sister taught him the recipe when he caught a virus himself years back and he's never forgotten it.
"that would be very much appreciated."
and so felix went on his way to the nearest convenience store, finding ginger, a lemon and, honey, before looking over his shoulder and seeing jisung's favourite snack. so he bought that too.
when he got back, jisung somehow mustered the strength to stand back up, and was attempting to clean his living room.
"for whoever said you can stand up and be productive?" felix spoke, startling jisung.
"jesus christ, don't scare me like that!" jisung clutched his chest, his blanket still around his shoulders. "and I didn't want you to have to do all the work, so here i sta—"
"sit your ass down, you are not doing anything while you are sick like this." felix cut him off, pushing his best friend to his couch. jisung sat down, before laying down and having felix cover him with his blanket.
"I'll be right back with your tea."
felix went into the kitchen and turned on the kettle, waiting for the water to heat up. once it was done, he brewed the rest of the tea before pouring it in a cup and walking out of the kitchen and back to jisung, who was on the verge of passing out.
"sit up," felix instructed, jisung complied. "drink it slowly, and carefully, since it's still hot."
jisung nodded his head and took the cup from felix who began picking up the garbage and tissues from the living room, before dealing with his bedroom. felix then dealt with the dirty dishes, any leftover cans that jisung had been drinking, and other things that was in the mess of the older's home.
felix walked back out from the kitchen yet again after he dried his hands from washing dishes, and he found jisung sleeping peacefully on the couch. he picked up the cup of tea, expecting it to be full, but it was empty. 'jisung must've downed it', felix thought to himself as he brought it into the kitchen and quickly cleaned it.
felix decided to cook jisung a meal, one that the older could just heat up if he needed to. he knew that jisung would be incapable of doing this task himself considering he was so sick, so the lilac haired boy knew that it would be best if he did it himself. so he cooked, and made a meal for his best friend before wrapping it up and placing it in the fridge.
felix had left a small note on the fridge which read,
get better, my dork.
. . . love, lixie ♡
he hoped that jisung would smile a bit more when he woke up after he reads it, so felix smiled himself before dragging jisung back to his room and making him nice and comfortable in his bed. he shut the door lightly, before leaving his best friends house, locking the door behind him.
let's just say jisung smiled a lot when he woke up, and ended up spamming felix with heart memes.
