Hello and Welcome...!  My name is blue Opal, but everyone prefers to call me Blue...

I'm a gem, that emerged not so long ago, and my one year anniversary of emerging is coming up in a few days. Peridot and Steven really want to celebrate it... Heh. It's adorable really...

From what I've been told, my kind was created to serve the diamonds alongside the pearls.  They wanted a servant specifically for them, since other elite gems were allowed to own pearls as well. I was incubated in a small secret kindergarten on earth, located on the continent Australia. I was meant to become blue diamond's Opal, but it seems like I took way longer to incubate than any other kind of gem, and they must have forgotten about me, when the rebellion took place.

So here I am now, washed upon shore at an entirely different continent, friends with the so called ,Crystal Gems'.
