Peter's POV

Tonight is the night. I'm going to dance with MJ. Like a real dance that you see in movies where the man leads his partner in a sweet dance that would make the audience swoon. Anyways, I'm getting ready for the dance with Wanda's help  (obviously) because let's face it, I would probably die if all the Avengers were working on this.

Well Aunt Tasha has a good sense of fashion like Wanda so i'm in good hands. MJ's dress is purple so I have a purple tie to match, that's cute right? After i got ready i just said bye to everyone and got into Happy's car and was going to meet MJ at the dance.

I got there and saw Mj by the entrance and wow was she beautiful i felt heat rise upon my cheeks as i walked closer to her we smiled at each other then i held my arm out. "Shall we madam?" I asked.

She took hold of my arm, "We shall monsieur."

Mj isn't a die hard romance type of girl and that's what i love about her she may not like all the romantic stuff we both would rather just be in each other's company cuddling and reading books which was relaxing and comfortable because it was just us and no one else.

We walked into the gym seeing Ned and Betty talking so we joined in on the conversation and greeted them we talked for a while, danced but i could tell Mj was wanting to get away so i walked to her and whispered, "Come with me."

She grabbed my hand and off we went away from the chaos and craziness from the gym surrounded by teenagers who were most likely secretly drinking alcohol, head pounding music, and ear deafening noises so i took Mj to a spot only i know about so we could watch the stars.

W got up to secluded part of the roof and sat down looking up at the shining and shimmering stars we're different from other teenagers i grew up in a different country my whole life then moving to New York and having these crazy powers and then i met my friends.

Mj has always been a city girl but always wanting to escape the troubles of reality stuffing her head in books and avoiding social interaction with anyone really but she opened up to me and ned but mostly me i guess we had that bond before we told each other the truth about our feelings.

But in this moment right now i'm spending it with the girl i love rather than being trapped in a dark place almost losing everything but Mj was the one to pull me back on my darkest of days and for that i'm grateful for it and most of all her.

We sat there for what had felt like hours and when i looked at my watch it was 9:58 the dance was going to be over in two minutes so i took out my phone and put on some music getting up and holding my hand out to Mj. "May i have this dance?" I asked.

She took my hand and stood up getting closer to me, "Yes you may." She replied. We danced until the song was over to be honest those kids in the gym think they're having the best night ever if only they knew what we were doing. "I love you mj."

She looked up at me, "I love you too peter."

(I know Tom is like a few inches shorter than Zendaya cause we stan a tall queen but for the purpose of my story peter is taller than her.)

I glanced at my watch after we danced and saw that it was 10:09 we both sighed because truthfully we didn't want this night to end so before we headed out we kissed just us under the stars and together till what we wished was the end of time.
