Y/N POV
I sat outside of the headquarters infirmary.

After arriving at headquarters and explaining the whole situation to Commander Erwin, he and multiple cadets rushed to the shed to go arrest Levi and save Armin.

They forced me to stay here, and Hange treated my broken foot with a cast while assuring me that everything would be fine.
But that was 30 minutes ago and now I was alone here expecting the worse.

"y/n!!" My heart felt overjoyed and I felt a heavy weight be lifted off my shoulders, in seconds, as I spotted Armin running towards me.

"Armin!!" I struggled to run to him due to my cast, but eventually we were in each other's arms and he spin me around.

"Thank you, y/n." He whispered in my ear as he held me. "Thank you so much. Now both of us are free."

We kissed but every kiss has an end and every hug ends with the two people letting go of each other.

"y/n.... You know I'll always be with you. I'll always look after you and your baby." Armin stroked my hair as he planted kisses on my forehead.

"I know, Armin." I held his hands.

"I don't know how to tell you this....." his hands' gripped tightened around my hands.

"Armin don't.... Please I love you. Don't leave me. The baby is yours." my hands quickly travelled to his arms. I was afraid he would walk away from me at any second. "We can ask Hange to do blood work when they come back so that you can know it's yours."

"No y/n. It's not about that. It would never be about that. I love you so much that I wouldn't have a problem with raising your baby." Armin's strong arms hugged me again. Embracing me. Assuring me that he wasn't going to walk away from me. "It's just that something happened." His voice broke and he began to kiss my forehead again. And seconds later I could feel his tears on my face.

"What happened Armin? Tell me...." I hugged him tighter feeling scared. Inpatient to know what was wrong.

"Something really bad happened." He sobbed. "But you need to promise me that you will take it calmly when you find out."

"I will. Tell me."

"Promise me y/n." His hands softly cupped my face as he kissed my lips.

"I promise."

His hands left my face and travelled to my hands. Holding them as we  made eye contact and he kissed me again. His blue eyes looking sadder than ever.

"y/n!!!!!!" I jumped a little and quickly turned to look at the person who was screaming my name.

Annie was walking towards Armin and I. She looked furious.
Is this what Armin wanted to tell me? I already had an idea that there was something between Annie and him by the way she treated me after Armin told everyone that we were together so that Levi could leave me alone.

"Annie-" but my ability to finish my sentence was interrupted as she punched me on the left side of my face.

"Annie no!!" Jean and Connie held her back from attacking me again while Sasha hugged me asking me if I was okay.

"You only think of yourself don't you, you bitch!!" Annie's tone of voice made me go cold all over. I had never seen her so mad.

"Calm down, Annie." Eren came. His hair was longer now, and it covered a bit of his face. His expression unreadable, but he had his arm around Mikasa in a comforting half hug.
Mikasa's eyes avoiding mine but I could see her face. She had been crying.
I made eye contact with Eren again. "Commander Erwin is back. He found Levi and Armin."

"I know. Thank god." I let out a  sighed, still in disbelief that everything went according to plan.

"The funeral is tomorrow." Jean mumbled. "If you need help due to your cast, I can carry you."

"What?" I made eye contact with Jean. "Funeral..... did Levi die??"

"No y/n. The funeral is for Armin." My attention was snapped back to Eren who was looking directly at me. "Levi killed him."

"What? No he's right here-" I turned to look next to me but Armin wasn't standing next to me anymore. My eyes quickly looked all around me. Doing a complete 360, looking for Armin.

"y/n, it's okay." Sasha held me as she watched me look around frantically.

"Levi confessed to killing him the night he kidnapped you. He temporarily kept his body in his bedroom's closet here at headquarters......and then he burried Armin's body outside of the shed he kept you in."

I covered my mouth as an attempt to hide my sobs. "This can't be happening. He was there with me! I would see him! He would talk to me....even untie me!!" Millions of memories of Armin came to mind. He couldn't have been dead. He was there with me!

"I'm sure he was." Mikasa began, attempting to calm down her own crying. "Armin was such a kind person....I'm sure he would of went as far as to defy death just to be close to you and make you feel safe in those dark times."

I only cried harder and Eren walked over to me and hugged me. Pulling me into a comforted hug . "I meant and I still mean what I told you that night." Eren softly said. "You're not alone, y/n.  I love you, and I won't let anybody hurt you."
