Y/N POV
The wedding was nothing like the stories I would read in my books.

I wore my mother's long-sleeve, silk wedding dress and wore my hair down. On my face.
To hide my tears. To hide the fact that I wasn't smiling. I was scared, I was marrying a stranger. A man who protected my family but never talked to me. Didn't talk to any of my family or friends. A stranger.

The wedding consisted of my family, villagers, and some scouts who I assumed were friends with Levi.
My friends weren't allowed inside the wedding because they thought it was weird that I was marrying an older man.

I traced my chapped lips with my finger. A nervous habit.
When the priest said that Levi may now kiss the bride..... kiss meant nothing. He literally gave me a quick peck on the lips and as soon as we were pronounced husband and wife he disappeared.
Was that it?

"Y/N stop picking on your lips you'll make them bleed," my mom told me.
I stopped and started to eat some cake until I felt someone pulled me to my feet from my wrist making them hurt.

"Ouch" I began to complained until I saw that the person who pulled me up from the chair I was sitting on was my husband Levi. That shut me up.

"It's time to leave," his voice was so emotionless and he avoided my eyes.

"But my cake-" I began and then it hit me. Was I never seeing my family and friends again?

"You can eat some at the base. I'll tell the cook to bake one for you," he simply replied. This man had solutions for all of my problems.

"Can I at least say goodbye to my parents?"

"Tch."

I took that as a yes and broke freed from his grip.

I hugged my mom who began to silently sob. "I love you." She whispered.

Soon my dad embraced me in the hug as well. "It's for your own good," he whispered.
Before I could ask him what he meant, Levi pulled me away.

"We'll be late." Was all my husband said and in that moment I began to wonder if he even had feelings.
