Levi's POV
I sat alone in the cafeteria during lunch.

The events that happened earlier today kept replaying in my head.

How my Y/N ran away from me as soon as Erwin came. How she went to the main room with the group full of those annoying brats.

How Eren, Armin, Reiner, Berthold and horse-face Jean had the audacity to walk up to me and threaten me to leave her alone or else they would talk to Erwin about me mistreating my lovely Y/N.

And those snitches fucking did. Erwin called me to his office and was concerned about my relationship with Y/N. He said that she will divorce me for the best of both of us. I had to pretend that I didn't care, but I do. I will die without her.

I made eye contact with Y/N. She was sitting at a table in the opposite corner of the cafeteria with her new friends. She quickly broke eye contact and continued eating and laughing with her friends.
I started getting up to go talk to her. In private. But stopped as a tall figure sat in front of me.

Hange sat in front of me. She knew of this too. The wanna be heroes took her to the infirmary so that Hange could heal her bruises.

"How are you feeling?" Hange asked me sounding concerned.

"I'm fine, four eyes." I avoided eye contact. There was a fire in my eyes that showed all the anger I was feeling in this situation.

"Listen Levi. I know our lives are hard, and I don't judge you as a person. I think you're a great human being and great squad leader. You're humanity's greatest soldier. I am here if you need to talk." Hange smiled at me and I quickly looked away.

I appreciated her words. She was my friend. And I was happy that she was alive....after this unending war with the Titans. But I didn't want to talk about what happened with Y/N.

I looked straight ahead and saw Y/N get up and walk out of the cafeteria. She's probably going to the restroom.
I waited a minute so it won't look so suspicious, and then got up.

"I'll be back." I told Hange and quickly exited the cafeteria after my Y/N.
